Oluwajemberun: I beg where is this guy going toThat there. . .the dude on the right-hand side, LUDA --- has got to be the MOST UNDERRATED RAPPER in the history of hip-hop. Dude is just too good a lyricist, yet no one seems to be paying him any mind! |
coogar: walcott had more minutes on the pitch to generate that!If he is indeed a maverick as you claim and very vital to UTD, perhaps we would keep him on the field more. Injuries aside, this stat potentially only shows how highly AW rates Walcott and how AF, on the other hand is gradually losing faith in your maverick! coogar: nani is our most explosive player - when it went pear-shaped on sunday, nani was the maverick brought in to change the game! Here you go again with your "Ikpeba" type of analysis. . .Even the hattrick hero confirmed that Scholesy was the catalyst of change in that game! coogar: nani has been standing up ever since ronaldo left! Then he must be incredibly short! |
freecocoa: Ehen, wetin do me?So its ok, even normal for guys to continually apologize even when he is not in the wrong. . . but when a lady does, you conclude that something is wrong with her abi!? |
maclatunji: Is it also possible that the person you choose might just be fortunate to have come into your life at the right time that you were ready to settle-down? It is quite possible to miss-out on your ideal partner because of extraneous variables. Like the girl is ready but the guy is without means or the the guy is ready but the girl had to go abroad to study. Things like that. You make a fantastic point here. . . |
freecocoa: Seriously? No offense but there is something wrong with that girl. Some kain girls sha. . .and I mean you, not the other girl! |
Its very easy for folks to say. . . I have Gambian neighbours some of whom still practice the old, original tradition of "housewife-ship" - as in the woman does absolutely nothing but stay in and take care of the home-front. . .no exaggeration; she doesn't do anything to generate any form of stipend, nothing to develop herself, just the domestic stuff and depends on her husband for everything else. You don't want to be in this position when the man is not around and some urgent need has to be catered for. . .trust me, you don't! |
Did anyone say she was dead. . .!!? She could as well be in hospital and still be "alive and well". By the way, is it normal to respond by FB or Punch too don dey fabricate stories!? |
coogar: its a disgrace to valencia that nani with less minutes on the pitch was more direct than valencia. majority of those off target shots are from set pieces! valencia plays it safe or runs with the ball to the flanks to deliver a cross. nani pulls the trigger from any range - check out his goal against chelsea----valencia wouldn't have attempted such!Errrm. Before you begin to conclude, have you taken into account the fact that some of those minutes were spent at right-back!? The crux of the matter is not comparing Nani v. Valencia - the main thing is, No doubt the figures he posts now are impressive but clearly not good enough. . .like I said about last season, Rooney aside, we always had to look up to Valencia, The Council of Elders (scholes and Giggs) or the high heavens for some "spark". This season, it is looking like RvP (and some thought it wasn't a necessary buy-smh). . . Will the "real"Maverick please stand up!!? in waffi parlance, e dey fall we hand die! |
coogar: well done....Ha ha. The man who claims Pep was chasing Nani - just a few posts back, you were labelling him a maverick - why watering down on your earlier claims now!? A couple of seasons back, here is a man touted by you and many others as the man to step out of the shadows and fill that "CR7-void". . .yet you expect me to celebrate his mediocrity!? |
Ujujoan: It's amazing how much of an issue this is becoming. . . . a woman NOT having a job!I take it then that you wouldn't marry a man who is incapable |
Gotta be one of the best speeches ever in US history! |
coogar: hahahahahahaExactly! |
afrodoc: Haba Ruudie u myt as well take Bebe,Obertan,Luke Chadwick and Ritchie Jones! Its not a matter of wether he is delivering up to his full potential, its a question of "how many of those guys can give d number of assists n goals he gives?"Are those guys as good as Nani!!? |
Now, don't get it twisted. . .I still the dey vex for the a55hole with a passion; only DW19 matter tops my vexation as far as am concerned - but I just want you to see where some of this vitriol is coming from and I think this guy was able to highlight 'em relatively well! I expected and still expect more than this from Nani. . .Don't get me wrong, he is fantastic player; I know he's got loads of skills, I've always thought he is a better footballing brain than CR7 - but why is it that I can't put my money on him delivering when it is crunch time!? Why doesn't he inspire any belief in me!!? Thats why I would take a Walcott, Downing, Milner, Jarvis, Lennon, Young, Agbolahon, Pennant, Gervinho, Puncheon, Nzogbia - they are, at best, averagely equipped guys, no denying this. So the disapppointment isn't much if they cannot "perform miracles" - but from Nani, knowing his potential, I expect (demand) magic. . . and he is depriving me that just now. Another thing is time - how much more do we have to wait for him to deliver on the promise that his potential holds!? How much longer can the average fan who isn't head over heels in love with him wait!!? He has delivered way below my expectations; probably for the better that he didn't get the #7 shirt, the increased weight of expectation might crank up the pressure a bit more and hurt rather than help him. This is my pain, this is my annoyance! |
To all the warring factions, read this. . .the author has an obvious bias towards Nani but all the same, some cogent points on both players and certainly stats that can be worked with! http://www.eplindex.com/17188/real-number-7-step-nani-vs-valencia.html |
pro01: That's right. I thought it was a case of one mumu love-struckYou never know. . .the prospective hubby might well fall in that category; albeit without the jobless - he might not be as financially buoyant as he or they both think. This is the bane of most average naija men. . .not ever being able to tell when we are ready in terms of the money. Most just take blind risks! Ah well, @ OP, all the best!!! |
. . .yeah and ban female tennis too. All those ladies be corrupting we youths ![]() Stew'pid, just plain Stew'pid! |
I sorry for this guy if OBJ decide to treat 'im f@^^ck up. . .a rtd Gen for that matter. . . walahi sol'jos go use am do choir practice! |
StarBoard: If it's all for the better, I won't mind seeing a few people go.I am not advocating against getting a DM; am just trying to look at it from SAF's angle - Cleverly, Ando, Carrick (depending on formation) may not get to play much if we get a DM; especially if he is a big-name, high-profile signing! But I agree with coogar that the lads are just being too lazy. . .they spend way too much time ball-watching rather than getting stuck in giving the opposition too much time on the ball. If they work as a unit, mark and press harder together, front-to-back we won't worry too much about a DM! |
chamotex: Fergie is a stubborn goat.If we buy a DM - he's going to be somewhat indispensable meaning, as in feature in most of the games - there will be so many players rendered redundant! 2 or 3 players need to leave for us to bring in a DM. |
StarBoard: At this rate we won't see any meaningful midfield play without the golden Gingerhead. |
Anybody still think our strike-force would do just fine without the "RvP" luxury!!? I will soon go to OT and put up a banner that says "We don't need Wazza. . . " ![]()

Leobreezy: What happened 2 we guys?? Are all guys cold-hearted emotionless stones? We hav feelings and sometimes we end up in bad relationships also. I would like 2 see a post about how ladies should treat guys for a change. Females are nt d only ones who get hurt you know.I tire for the matter oh! |
coogar: milner, downing and walcott are better than nani? ruudie, let me have what you are smoking!Yes, they are. . . sedately said! |
Hugoboi: This is an absolute joke right? It would be a joke if Nani can actually spend more time on improving his game than packing oro'ro on his fowl-dancing-on-faeces hair! |
A condolence register has been opened for Chelsea after last night's unfortunate "FALCAO-TION" --- please drop you condolence message for the She'kpe family after this post! ![]() |
coogar: for the last time, mention another pair of wingers better than ashley young and luiz nani? it can't be that difficult - after all, the two of them are crappy! i wonder what the fans of spurs, liverpool, arsenal, chelsea and man city have to say when they put up with lennon, downing, maxi rodriguez, malouda, kalou, adam johnson, walcott, gervinho, arshavin and james milnerYou've already mentioned some of the names yourself! |

The likes of Nani, Young, Anderson, Welbeck etc are the reason why the likes of Giggs, Scholes are still playing today. No one has 100%, cast-iron faith in 'em! Anyways, the jury is out - especially on Nani and Anderson, who are not Brits - perform below expectations and they will definitely go the way of Berbatov. . . no two ways about it! |
On my travels through Ogun/Ondo states. . .there is a sign-post somewhere along the road, I think in Ogun, that identifies a certain area as "Oni-paraga Town" - don't know if its for real sha! ![]() |
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has raised the possibility of record signing Dimitar Berbatov returning to Tottenham. |
