The marginal rate hikes by the Fed would do nothing to slow down inflation at least not as quickly as they would like. Now they have to "invent" money to bail out SVB depositors to contain the situation.

But nobody knows what the consequences of the Supreme Court ruling would be. With a huge value of liquidity taken out of circulation, what would be the repercussions of a sudden release of liquidity back into the economy? What impact would it have on inflation?
