Hello , Nairalanders.

I recently called off a two-year relationship with my Ex Girlfriend.

I found out she was cheating on me with two other guys and decided to walk away.

But the thing is that I can't stop thinking about her.
I can't eat, work or do anything without memories of the times we shared together hanging over my eyelids.

I felt that the depression and pain that suffused me after I told her it was over was hinged on the fact that she was my first love - and would go away with time, but I was wrong.
I think of her now more than I ever remember doing.
I'm afraid the feelings heightens everyday.
And this is made worse by the fact that we're colleagues.
We see each other everyday.
And concerns for her, I found out, still manage to hide behind my ribs.

I'm not thinking of going back to her.
It's not an option.
That to me now, is like dining with my archenemies blindfolded.

I feel like I don't know her .
I never knew her!

At least, I never knew she could tell heavy lies with our eyes locked.


I need help redeeming myself from her.
I want to see her for who she really is.
And I want to go back to the life I led before her.

I need help getting her out of my head.

Crap! Arrant crap! Don’t nigerians organise events in Ghana? There is even a weekend radio programme in Accra hosted by a Nigerian woman for Nigerians living in Ghana. In Nigeria, to play Ghanaian music on nigerian radio Na wahala. I recall listeners to a sports radio station owned by Larry Izamoje, I think they call it Brilla FM in Abuja. They used to have an Igbo presenter who loved Ghanaian music. As he was playing Ghanaian music, a few listeners called in asking, are you a Ghanaian? He said no. Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has congratulated the Muslims in the state and in the country as they join other faithful Muslims around the world to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

“It is only through love for one another and commitment to peace, security and stability that our country can progress,” he opined.

“As we celebrate this year’s Eid-el- Kabir, it is important we remember our dear country and ask for divine intervention in the security situation as well as restoration of peace in the troubled areas.

“I extend warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Ekiti State and Nigeria as a whole as we celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival. I believe the prayers of the faithful can get us the peace and prosperity our country needs.”he concluded.

Typical of what my father would do.
I was a teenager when I vowed I will work hard and be able to afford stuff I need without a man.
When I saw the way my father quickly collected things he bought for my mum whenever they had any quarrel.
At the slightest thing,he would seize her phone, stop her from driving his car,stop her from eating even after giving her money to cook..He would carry her food with the plate and dispose in the waste bin.
The one that broke the horses back was when he set her box of clothes on fire..because he bought the clothes.

My parents marriage was painful to witness
