Ag President Goodluck Jonathan has decided to constitute a committee that will mann and see to d running of d troubled and dilapilated Nigerian power sector,dis he said he will be d chairman of d committee. My question is can he really deliver going by d previous records and attempt by Obasanjo to chair d ministry during his regime in order and yet no visible result was recorded even after pumping billions of naira into d sector. Will dis move by GJ not pull him down in his bid for 2011, as d same forces might still stand against him. And when dis happens, d masses might loose interest in him since it would then be clarer that he is not d messiah to take them to d promise land! Lets wait and see who wins.

At exactly 12am in d morning, believe me i just went to d tomb and i did not see him in his tomb! We rejoice and be glad for he has conquered d earth cos he promised to bring sanity to Nigeria within 40days before he goes back to his father! Happy easter as we wait for him to come to aso rock.

Due to d incessant killings and burning of peoples properties at Ezillo/Ezza junction along Enugu/Ebonyi federal high way, d federal govt has taken a bold step to barricade d road,this is to ensure d security and safety of travellers along d road. This is coming after d inspector general of police, mr Ogbonna Onovo visited d governor of Ebonyi State, mr Elechi at d state capital, where they were assumed to have discurssed on d way forward on d security of d state. It is on record that hundreds of people have lost their lives on d said road including people(who know nothing about d violence) from other states like Anambra, Cross River, Enugu etc  Based on this issue, where innocent citizens travelling on their own for their businesses have continued to b d victim of d crisis sometimes under d close watch of d helpless policemen, d fed govt now decided to block d road  atleast till d crisis is settled!  It was once told that a certain girl who was coming to Ebonyi from Enugu for a friend's matric was accosted at d road by d millitants and was asked to make call across to her parents to tell them that d war far at Ezillo has eaten her head, after much pleadings, instead of calling her parent, she put d call across to d guy that she was visiting and narrated everything and then that was she was heard of. Despite d survellance and partrol movement by d police with their helicopter on d state,arm robbers have continue to enrich themselves on d divert routes in d state. Consequently, as a result of these, people have been trapped in d state, even people from other states that reside there could not attend to their town functions or travel for easter break,some who have earlier booked appointments outside d state have turned them down, businesses in d state have cöntinued to crumble and be put on hold. Pls  my question is cant d governor be sued for not protecting d lives of d people in his state since he is busy canvasing for his 2nd tenure in office? Another question is why is d media not carring d information?

@katsumoto, sorry i dont mean to sound rude too, its a pity that its ur type that is drawing us in nigeria! Ur kind of person can never b a teacher or lecturer because all u will b thinking about is that ur students might know more than u know or even when u r placed in a higher position like minister(which ur type can never get), u will any information that u think that wil bring about d development of that sector. Better work on ur belief system, it wil help u.

All these clerics that call themselves 'emirs' are gradually loosing their worth in d nation! D best option is to impeach yardua and get him out of that aso rock if they are not contented with d privilege of being allow to stay there. Atleast if GJ is made d substantive president, all these ASIRIS would end. He should make passage of d Sec44/45 resolution in d cabinet a top agenda else people must keep deraling him from focusing in his programs.

It is disheartening and disappointing to have seen Dora Akunyili trembling and stamering when she was being asked a common question by Sen Bello. A simple question that requires a simple direct answer, why her long story? Just like Mikeansy said in öne of his posts, her earlier actions while she was d minister of information, was not a crime but for d interest of d nation and for d nation to move forward. Yes, our  politics is all about loyalty and swift manourver to d intending/winning side at d expense of d former. My anger is that if Dora had presented her acclaim memo and her said mention of 'd cabals' working against d progress of d nation, was really for d interest of d nation, then why her trembling and stamering? Why did she open  her and say it was for d interest of d nation that she did all those things, that she was appointed or dine with her boss does not mean that she shouldnt start for d path of truth which she swore to uphold! Oh she has disppointed me, mayb she was just seeking attention to herself. Really, if it was a man that  was to be in her shoes, d man would have bold answered d question in few seconds.  'Where a woman's sense stops, there, d man's sense begins!
