Persin no want something, then you see women trying to challenging their masculinity with "afraid". Black women with all their stinking attitude, instead of changing it, would say "Black men are only going for other women because they are scared of a strong black women". Their undesirable attitude is a sign of "strength"? |

pansophist: Women, una get wahala abeg. I remember when I asked a girl out in Nigeria and to my surprise, I was made to realize that I am responsible in paying the bills. Na girls with this mentality you want make I carry as wife? Mbanu
Naija girls specifically has a kind mentality that will always turn down intelligent men. Their dependent attitude, sense of entitlement and like sagamite said, pussi reward attitude puts off every potential man off.
And whether we choose to admit it or not, marriage is an old culture. Our current live doesnt fit the idea of marriage, na self made prison una de enta so Those are some of the attitudes, behaviours, expectations and mentality I almost always observe from the very first minute I engage with most Nigerian girls and it just puts me off immediately. From that moment, it is almost virtually impossible for it to go anywhere because I find it insanely disrespectful and insulting. Does this ediot really take me for a fooool that would do anything for pussi?
Do I look like if I have to drag myself on the floor for pussi if I want it?
If I want to pay or work for pussi what makes your daft arse think you are that valuable for such payment/work? Are you Amber Rose?I just get pissed off. They don't feel they have to be good at conversations, be fun to be around and be convivial. But yet, oddly, they have this expectation that you should be crazy and infatuated about them. They just think " Ah, I have a pussi, this guy wants it so he must work like a slave horse for it". And I am thinking " B.i.tch, are you reetarded?". |

zendy: I fall into that category. I won't say I'm rich but I'm comfortable and I own the house I live and I'm 30+. When you get to that stage in life, you will think seriously about settling down but unfortunately, wife material is hard to come by. I don't want to get married just for the sake of getting married because marriage can be a curse. I know many guys my age who are married but feel like they are in a nightmare which they don't know when they will wake up from. Women can be strange creatures. Some of them are good at hiding their true nature until they are married. By then, it's too late for the man. Another thing guys like me have contend with is spotting someone who is there because they want to be there and spoting a Golddigger. Many Nigerian women treat marriage like winning a jackpot. After saying 'I do', they regard the mans role as being their own personal "genie" who is there to grant their wishes while all they have to do is pop out kids. There are actually very few women who realise that marriage is joint effort and any problem that comes along, they just blame it on the man. All I can say is that while they say that "Husband is scarce", I say that "Wife material" is even more scarce. Rather than being with a "Dragon tailed Witch" , I would rather stay stay single or just get myself a Baby mama. You listed well some of the consequences of many Nigerian women's sense of "entitlement" and "my pussi is a reward" mentality. |

You ladies had better stop deceiving yourselves like you're the source of a man's happiness...in most cases d man actually is...we just dey make una head swell ni... Fcking brilliantly said again! themodernman: You were making sense but rounded up speaking Nonsense. Prayer ko Prayer ni.
Fact is most Rich, Comfortable & Single men are not giving women what they REALLY want.. Men are so quick to think Women are all about money...
The women themselves fighting for empowerment but refuse to make themselves responsible with their attitude. By attitude I don't mean sleeping around but I mean being mature in dr attitude. Them just think sey once dem don fine...shikena.
A man will only respect a woman that respects him first not the other way round....that's why your man will cheat on you with a woman lesser in status dan you. It's in d genetic makeup of men to want to be respected. These single men haven't seen such so most of them settle for babymommas..
Life is getting harder...no man wants a woman that will add to it so we go just dey SOLO. If women know d way men of nowadays are thinking they'll either quickly change their behaviour or remain adamant and actually don't give a fuuuccck as they're doing now. Fcking well said. I can NEVER date a woman who does not respect me. Any woman thinking she has a chance while being disrespectful is only fooling her life. I have always told guys on NL: The minute a woman becomes disrespectful, move on.A woman can't love a man she does not respect. |

LAX89: Marriage is an OVERRATED dogma and expectation of society. You should also look at the world-wide odds of divorce. Individuals now have the courage and self conviction to decide if they actually need, want and desire to get married, rather than just following societal dogma and expectations, devoid of any independent, individual analysis and thought process. Put simply, marriage should be an individual choice, and not a rule of society. Fcking brilliantly well said. I have always said, at the end of the day, it is women that would keep fighting for marriage as they are the ones that benefit from it most. |

Sweetlemon: From my experience, most of them have issues. 1) The ones still hurting from a past relationship 2) The ones who didn't have babes around them when they had nothing but suddenly finds many babes dying for their attention. They now don't trust women.
But hey, there ain't no specific age for marriage. Some people are very particular about what they want and what they want is what they are getting no matter how long it takes and guys with money have high taste in women,. Not just anything goes it's not like the broke/regular ones who are just looking for any woman that can love them the way they are. You missed out (3). 3) The ones that don't see the importance of any woman in their lives (in the form of marriage) as the net benefit is negative and inferior to being single. |

Orikinla: I feel for the majority of younger men in Nigeria today who cannot afford a decent accommodation even though they are working and well paid by local standards. In the early 1980s, at 18, I was already earning N400 monthly and that was a big income then, because return ticket to UK was only N300. I could afford a two bedroom flat, a small car and even take care of a wife and two children. Nigeria was a better and safer country then for young men and women. Young graduates in the 1980s did not suffer what the present graduates are suffering now in poverty. Then IBB and Abacha came to destroy it all. |

Jollyjoy: Why will responsible and mature guys want to marry when ladies has lost their value by giving their assesst to the highest bidder.. Beside who want to purchase wat he can easily borrow,
the fact is that majority of those decent girls are anti social now tell me who want to marry such a lady?
With rampant cases of divorce here and there no body want to settle than because marriage is now endured instead of enjoyed,,, before those ladies finally want to settle down, they might have been in their late 20 or early 30. And maybe those responsible men would want to marry early 20s.
Now tell me why a wife material would nt be difficlt to find.. You said a lot of sensible things but I need to correct you on the highlighted. Marriage, by and large, has mostly been something endured throughout history, not just now. Most of the people that say they are enjoying marriage are either those in the early phases or just pure liars. Very, very few people enjoy marriage. They just want the societal benefits and security that come with it. |

dlux: Who wants to commit to the kind of ladies we have in the society today? 90 percent of them won't add value to your life. Deduct from your account & think fucking u is a huge favor when they give it to a higher bidder anyway. How many babes will visit their bf house & cook with their money, do his laundry or fall in love with a broke guy with prospects? Shey after we hammer them think say we go easily forget? Many are called but few are chosen. Most of these ladies have slept with married men, random dating & seek refuge where they did not invest. Yes men disappoint but your best bet on getting a husband is building a relationship & being submissive. Invest your time & make a few sacrifice if the guy is nice. I no say make u sponsor am ooo. Fcking well said, especially the highlighted. That is one of the huge issues I have with most Nigerian girls and their mentality. Right from the minute you meet these fooools they think they can control you with the carrot of possibility of them giving it up one day and you are suppose to do their bidding to get this "reward". And after they are giving it, they think they are doing you a favour you need to be grateful for. And it is not like if they are any good in bed. |

NgeneUkwenu: The Punch reports that Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Benue, Cross River, Ekiti, Imo, Jigawa, Kano, Katsina, Kogi. Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers and Zamfara owe their employees salary arrears of at least 6 months, citing a task force report by the Nigeria Labour Congress. This state has no excuse of owing workers salary. Akwa Ibom gets the HIGHEST allocation out of ALL states in Nigeria from the federal government. The Federal Allocation is the biggest source of funding/revenue for virtually all states in Nigeria, hence it is like the main salary for a state. Its allocation is so high, it is more than 3 times that of all the other states in that list bar Rivers. THREE TIMES! In a quarter, Akwa Ibom once got N136bn from Federal allocation. The next highest (bar Rivers) on that list was Kano with N43bn. All the others got less than N35bn, with Osun being the lowest at N20bn. And Akwa Ibom has one of the smallest populations by far. So way too much money to cover a small population. A population less than half of some of the states on the list and not on the list. So why are they owing workers salary? Because a fuuktard like Akpabio is more interested in buying and flying private jets for his personal use? http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/06/gov-emmanuel-to-auction-a-iboms-private-jet/I have always said this cretin is a useless politician. https://www.nairaland.com/1916418/how-elected-governors-performed-sagamite/1#26543806 |
