Marraige is an institution ordained by God for the purposes outlined in Genesis 1:28 and 2:18. To me that sounds like a mission rather than a merry-go-round. To me marraige bestows great responsibility on the individuals involved that requires all seriousness, sacrifice and determination that leaves little room for sentiments and diversionary emotions.

Marraige has far greater purpose than school, than work, than church, etc. Do you attend these, commit to these, simply because you enjoy them?

Or you won't go to work because you don't enjoy working.
