Sammydanny: Baba Fryo, a veteran Nigerian singer, has lamented that he is disappointed that pop star, Davido neglected him, ‘a known face’, in his trying times, only to gift unknown orphans N250m.
In a speech via his Instagram account, the ‘Dem Go Dey Pose’ singer said, “There is something that I have been seeing on social media that someone gifted orphanages N250m. To me, the thing is funny. I remember when I was depressed, they tagged many of my colleagues; they tagged Davido, Tuface, and others but none of them responded. It was people that have never seen me in this life, people that do not know me that responded.
“This N200m that I am hearing about and seeing on social media is surprising to me. If someone like me who is popular and well known was not helped, it is people and orphanages that no one knows that is being helped; they are been given N250m, it is so funny. I will advise Nigerians and Black people to be wise and stop all these things.
“White people do not do all these things. All what we are doing will look so funny to them. I am not saying that giving money to orphanages is a bad thing because I am an ambassador to an NGO that I do not collect a dime from. But funny enough, when I was depressed and had problems, the NGO did not respond. You see how we are. Now I am seeing N200m and they are posting it everywhere; Davido gives money to orphanages and inaugurates a five-man committee to distribute that money. Everything sounds funny to me.
“If I see someone doing good, I appreciate them; I am not saying it is a bad thing. I just want to ask people why someone like me that people know, who cried out; why did they not help the person that they know? It is the people that they do not know or can see their faces that they are helping out with N250m. Let’s all think; will we call that wickedness or ignorance?
“I tagged the Delta, Rivers and Lagos State government, none of them came to my aid. Is that wickedness or ignorance? But today I am seeing that N250m is going to be distributed to orphanages all over Nigeria. I will advise Nigerians to open their eyes.”
This is the kind of warped, moronic mentality that is pervasive in Nigeria, where people (like Poizon) are just incredibly stuuuupid.
Firstly, this cretin actually thinks Davido (or any other person) owes him something and should come to his aid when he makes a request.
Dimwit, is Davido your father?
Secondly is the mentality of "Big Man" this cretin has. He actually thinks he is more important than the "unknown" orphans. And finds it some kind of sacrilege that they can get help, while he was shunned, and worse that they are getting help of that "large sums" while a big man like him got peanuts.
What grand sense of entitlement and Bigmanism from a low-life loser!
This man is a completely useless human piece of shiiit and is not someone capable of adding value in this world. His stupidity makes him a danger to humanity. He would not be a loss when he is six foot under.
khiaa: You broke my heart, I was bragging to all my girls what a special Nigerian brother you were and they told me I was delusional that there was no such thing as a special Nigerian man but I fought for you.
Now I find out you played me and was screwing your 329th of a cousin when you could have had **ALL OF THIS** Next time leave the wench at home.
No worries, darling.
Send me the address, I will fly back to Cali. I will spend the weekend giving you 4 times what I gave my 329th cousin, all your girls will be hearing your moans from their houses.
crackhaus: When you consider everything involved and when it comes down to the point, it's actually a better bargain for men who can see past the limit of their cultural upbringing.
There's something about being plugged into a matrix and not realizing that your every thought, decision, and ideology is programmed to conform.
Your neighbor has guts and I like him for that. Truth is, not many men in Nigeria are able to go this unconventional route even if they really desired it.
In more contemporary societies, this would not even be a topic of conversation for people to deliberate on. It's just common sense to want to avoid as much complications that come when you legally marry a woman.
Thank you!
One yeye guy was talking of the "right person" despite the evidence of the tons of miserable and failed marriages around him.
That is like a Nigerian who persistently thinks Nigeria would be great under the bunch of useless politicians they recycle. "We just need the right one. Keep voting for them!".
Marriage is indeed not for everyone but a child deserves the love, care , nuture and training from both parents. No matter how we like to twist it, children from broken homes or from single parents are the worst hit by this trend. Their silent wishes and prayers is to have both parents reconcile and live together as a family.
I can't imagine being separated from my kids. It's too much a pain for me to bear, how much more another person taking up my role in their lives.
And the child can get the love, care , nuture and training from two parents that live apart.
Ishilove: God bless you. All they are talking about is "me me me", but not one single thought for the children they forcing into this warped and perverse lifestyle of their sires. They think raising children is providing material needs alone. They forget that there are other factors involved which money cannot solve.
Darling, children get used to the social norms they are raised in.
Your great-great-great-great grrandfather in Arochukwu was probably born in a polygamous family and raised by the village (not just his mother, who may have even died in childbirth). He was okay!
emmanuelbrown26: Not surprised that it's coming from a woman. Back to the topic, op I would advice u to make a friend with that your neighbour. He is enjoying this life to the fullest, compare him with any other man or men around u with wives, u will see that the difference is clear. just ask him how he did it and how he's being managing the whole stuff. Personally this is the best way to have peace of mind. forget about any preaching from women, marriage only favours them.
Klass99: It is not for me - that is what I think of that lifestyle.
What people don't understand about this baby daddy trend and lifestyle is that, you still end up paying bills as if you were in a married relationship. So, why not just marry each other and make it right in God's sight? As in, choose a path God can bless.
A nairalander shared his personal story last year. From his narrative I didn't see the difference between paying bills in a legal marriage and paying bills relating to his baby mama/child.
He was paying the house rent, school fees, sending a monthly allowance for both mother and child, had bought her a car too (if I remember correctly) and I thought to myself, this is no different from what a married man would do for his wife and kids.
According to him, he had always planned on marrying her but marriage hadn't happened, so the baby mama lifestyle began and continued. His intentions may explain why he was doing all that he was, but the fact is - it is still the same lifestyle we are discussing nah.
The only difference would be the fact that the adults involved are not married and they may not be responsible for assisting in-laws. But, even the latter is almost inevitable once a child is involved.
Will you not gift something to the grandmother or grandfather, who occasionally chips in to help with your child? Or the aunty or uncle who is kind enough to watch them when the parents can't or whom may occasionally treat your child to nice things?
Je ki Olorun yen lo je igbe, men. (Let that God go chop shit)
Even if you still end up paying bills as if you were in a married, you don't get the mental illness that women bring into your life under your roof.
You live a mostly stress free life!
She can only nag on the phone (that, by the way, you can seemlessly cut off) if she does not live under your roof.
Mindlog: Will you and your family be comfortable with your sister having children for a man she is not married to?
You have an option of paying surrogates to get pregnant for you, after delivery you get your babies from them and hire nannies to be their caregivers, at least no woman would rip you off all in the name of marriage while you still have your children.
And you can take another option that suits you better.
bigjackass: This idea of what favor who... mostly irresponsible people think this way. Marriage is good as long you marry the right person. Even the whites we want to copy, most of them don't stay single. Instead they jump from one marriage to the other and divorce up and down because they enjoy being married but they haven't found the right person.
Continue talking nonsense.
The typical nonsense platitude of the "right person" that you are brainwashed with by your church and hollywood.
So the billions that are getting into marriage and ending up failing and miserable, you get sense pass them?
When you finally get sense, you will know what you term as "successful marriages" are ones of good "compromise, endurance and sacrifice", not ffucking happiness!
You are free to live your one life compromising, enduring and sacrificing with the "right [wrong] person", some others are having sense and not following the herd mentality.
BarrElChapo: this is the new norm due to copycatting the west. We've lost the essence of marriage all togethe.
What bloody "essence of marriage" of yours have you lost?
The one your people copied from the West is the one you are whining about losing?
Your ancestors were practicing monogamous, till-death-do-us-part marriage before the white man came?
Don't go and educate yourself and calculate the many decades ago that your people had lost their specific essence of marriage and copied the West. The copy you are now calling your "essence of marriage".
poiZon: Actually hand washing was 9.4billion naira spent by minister of water resources... No single water works was built anywhere from that funds.. All they did was send officials to some schools, they enter bush, cut sticks and built a tripod, hang one small jerrycan, violla, money well spent.
And one useless zombie by name sagamite was abusing his father how Jonathan govt was corrupt, come and see corruption in the face of pandemic. Most of the funds mentioned so far from wat they distributed to ministries and agencies, the directors there willl be shaking them heads on the evils this saint buhari govt has turned to

Product of a failed education system and genetic lottery! Your case is bad.
Sagamite: 2) Continue until you reach the point where you have destroyed your life. Most likely, you would have even stolen from people or your employers to fund your betting losses.
This is a timely news report about what I was talking about when I wrote this earlier.
The trial heard that Xu was a heavy gambler and owed the family £14,000.
Despite not being blood relations, Xu, also known as Little Gang, was regarded as a nephew by Ms Xu.
The family entrusted him with £20,000 that he said he would send back to China for them to pay a friend who had lent them money to start their business in the UK.
However, Xu only sent some of the money back and gambled away £14,000, which he had then begun paying back.
On March 4 2021, he rang Ms Xu and asked if he could go to see them, but told her not to tell anyone about his visit, before he strangled to death 16-year-old Wenjing the next morning.
After killing Wenjing, Xu began attacking her stepfather with two knives, stabbing him in the neck and body.
When Mr Jiang asked Xu why he was attacking him, Xu replied: 'Money, money, money.'
During Jonathan, insecurity was only domiciled in just borno and yobe states.
Rice was 50naira a cup, local Rice was 30naira, some 25naira a cup, beans was 30naira a cup, ironbeans 50naira a cup.
Fuel was 87naira per litre...
Garri was 7cups for 100naira.
Lagos to uyo by bus was 3500naira, today na 10thousand naira.
What has buhari the certificate forger done that has made life bearable for the common man?
Under buhari the certificate forger, insecurity has engulfed the entire region, from north east to north west to north central, south west has not been left out from the menace of banditry, in south east fulanis that r demonic herders r killing, raping and causing serious havoc to farmers.
Buhari promised to declare his assets and also compelled his appointees to do same, please can u tell me one buharis appointee's asset declaration made public?
Buhari promised to fight corruption, but today corruption has been empowered, every of his appointees r utterly corrupt from minister of sport to Attorney General.. None has been sack so far even with all the allegations against them.
Gej sacked stella oduah when the oduahgate spark outrage in Nigeria.
Tell me one distinct thing buhari has done that is worthy of commendation??
You are a creeetin!
So you will rather be looted to death while a dumbo looks on? And you will keep him in power?
That shows how low your IQ is.
Have you got your own $30m gifts from people you don't know?
silent10: Sport betting is a game of chance. There can be any outcome. If you laugh at people who make 20 selections in a single ticket without knowing the options they choose, then I can confidently say you know little about sport betting.
Cretin personified!
Entering a lion's cage with a knife to kill it is a game of chance. There can be any outcome. If you laugh at people who take up such challenges without knowing the glory they seek, then I can confidently say you know little about safety.
