I don't have a job to offer you but perhaps I can help with some advice. You're who you are due to the choices you made yesterday but that doesn't mean your life is over, Try harder to secure a job. Ask questions and search harder not underestimating the powerful spiritual support of God. I understand it may not be easy going through those challenges but in our darkest times, hope is what we give ourselves that tommorow would be better than today. That should be your inner strength. Don't lose it and don't ever assume there's no job. Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently. I can see you're trying hard but I urge you to try harder and employ new tactics. We can't change the direction of the wind, but we can adjust our sails to reach our destinations. Furthermore, There is no market for your emotions, So never advertise your feelings, just display your best attitude. If you advertise your feelings, people might only want to take advantage of you. Sharing your problems with others doesn’t help rather people who took pity on u increases!!! It is sad but true. |

Family › Re: Hardcore Truth About Marriage! !!!! by Sage161(m): 10:51pm On Aug 31, 2020 |
ijesuoboikxp1: 1. There is nothing that threatens the security of a wife than the thought of another woman competing for the attention and affection of her husband. Nothing is more painful. Nothing is more disrespecting. Nothing is more insulting. Nothing is more belittling and degrading. 2. Marriage flourishes when the couple works together as a team; when both husband and wife decide that winning together is more important than keeping score. Good marriages don't just happen. They are a product of hard work. 3. Your children are watching you and forming lasting opinions on love, commitment, and marriage based on what they see in you. Give them hope. Make them look forward to marriage. 4. Husbands: The reason why other women look attractive is because someone is taking good care of them. Grass is always green where it is watered. Instead of drooling over the green grass on the other side of the fence, work on yours and water it regularly. Any man can admire a beautiful woman, but it takes a true gentleman to make a woman admirable and beautiful. 5. When a husband puts his wife first above everyone and everything except God, it gives his wife the sense of security and honor that every wife hungers for. 6. A successful marriage doesn't require a big house, a prefect spouse, a million dollars or an expensive car. You can have all the above and still have a miserable marriage. A successful marriage requires honesty, undying commitment and selfless love and Jesus at the center of it all. 7. Pray for your spouse every day; in the morning, in the afternoon and at evening. Don’t wait until there is a problem. Don’t wait until there is an affair. Don’t wait until something bad happens. Don’t wait until your spouse is tempted. Shield your spouse with prayer and cover your marriage with the fence of prayer. 8. The people you surround yourself with have a lot of influence on your marriage. Friends can build or break your marriage; choose them wisely. 9. One spouse cannot build a marriage alone when the other spouse is committed to destroying it. Marriage works when both husband and wife work together as a team to build their marriage. 10. Don't take your spouse for granted. Don't take advantage of your spouse's meekness and goodness. Don't mistake your spouse's loyalty for desperation. Don't misuse or abuse yours spouse's trust. You may end up regretting after losing someone that meant so much to you. 11. Beware of marital advice from single people. Regardless of how sincere their advice may be, most of it is theoretical and not derived from real life experiences. If you really need Godly advice, seek it from God-fearing, impartial and prayerful mature couples whose resolve has been tested by time and shaped by trials. 12. Dear wife, Don't underestimate the power of the tongue on your marriage. The tongue has the power to crush your marriage or build it up. Don't let the Devil use your tongue to kill your spouse's image, self- confidence and aspirations. Let God use your tongue to build up your marriage and bless and praise your spouse. You've spoken well. A brilliant and inspiring post. Don't mind those detractors saying rubbish |

chocolateme: Have you ever felt too burdened that you just don't know how to unburden your heart? Like that moment that you don't have or know exactly who to talk to on very pressing matter.
I am so heavy with load of life and its occurrences that I don't know where to drop it a little. Sometimes, I tried to type things here to offload my pains and sorrows but when I remember that encouragements no longer come from here mostly instead its mockery and jests that comes out of one's story, I just restrict myself from typing. It keeps getting HARDER by the day for me like I am going to explode soon, I feel chest pains so much now due to constant thinking, I pray my blood pressure do not rise with the rate I feel embittered.
In all, I come here often to read some stuffs and smile to feel better. I know that I have not stated any particular issue here but I feel a bit relieved right now to have written this. I know someone will read it and truly understand my plight even without knowing any particular thing. All I need now is words of encouragements and a little push to be ok. Thanks kind reader. If you are crying, use a tissue not the internet.

Romance › Re: Is It Wrong For A 30 Year Old Student To Have A Girlfriend? by Sage161(m): 10:10pm On Aug 31, 2020*. Modified: 10:33pm On Aug 31, 2020 |
TechExpertise: Mods please don't take this to frontpage biko.
So guys I created a new account so as to air this issue and solicit for you guys advice.
So I'm a 30 year old student currently in my final year in one of the universities in the North (Ahmadu Bello University) studying an Engineering course with a 4.0 grade.
So after I couldn't graduate due to a health challenge I had back then, I finally got healed, took jamb again and got admitted at 25. I was about to round up my studies before the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted us. So I've never had it in mind to date any lady as my priority was channeled towards graduating successfully with good grades and culminate to the zenith of success in my career endeavors before I look for a successful lady to settle with. So during this pandemic I got a job with one establishment, while on my way back home from work i came across this beautiful and gorgeous Lady, I was tempted to initiate a conversation with her, observed she's smart and educated and also a finalist in the university, so we exchanged numbers and communicated on phone via calls and WhatsApp, we met about twice and before you know it we got attracted to each other and boomed she confessed her love for me after I told her I love her, so now we've started a relationship.
Now my worries is that I'm 30, whenever I realize my contemporaries are married while most of 'em have settled careers but I'm still in school at this age, it gets me worried that a girlfriend shouldn't be on my agenda. My Christian brothers are also asking me to withdraw and break off the relationship cos its a sin (I'm against premarital sex so our relationship is devoid of sex) but at this age I'm i not supposed to start a relationship with a lady and build a career and relationship with her so when God blesses us I can get married to her and not some random stranger. Nairalanders what's your own opinion? Should I break up with her cos my church members sees it as a sin or should I continue the relationship? You don't need a girlfriend. You need a lover. Girlfriends are parasites. You are at your prime now. You wouldn't be much longer. It doesn't matter if you're still a student. You would surely need to get married sooner or later. You have to start from somewhere at least try having a lady to consider. From estimation, if you were to marry later than 35, you might be walking your children to school as an overly aged man. Given your situation currently, you gotta come up with a good plan for your future especially financially. You just have to. |

Bloooody post=93439635[s: ]For years now we have seen and read various news on nigerian women being beaten by their husbands. I honestly support it, nigerian women are very stubborn and sometimes foolish creatures. If the money doesn't make them act in the right direction then surely a rod or slap will correct their faults. This is not an opinion but simply the truth! The average nigerian woman Is very useless [/s] One word - trash!. You've forgotten that your mother is a nigerian |

Moral lesson - Never get too close to anyone you do business with. Business and intimacy are two disparate things. If you want to know about business and intimacy, you would be reading two separate books. They shouldn't be merged for any reason. |

kukusdot: I don't agree with this. OP, don't assume she likes you. Don't assume anything. Just talk normal, and take your mind off it. Also don't get caught fopping, if you doesn't like you in return. Learn the courage to move on. Not every girl you talk to will like you. Some have other desires they look out for in men, and if you don't have it there's no chance in hell they'll like you. We're saying the same thing |
Romance › Re: How Can I Get A Girl After I Have Lost My Job by Sage161(m): 6:39pm On Aug 31, 2020 |
Takumino02: There's a girl that I have been friends with. I lost my job 4days after I asked her out I was gutted by this. I have been searching for a new job. But you know how Nigeria is. I didn't call or text her for like 3 days she called and told that no calls or even text from. I didn't because I felt embarrassed that I lost my job and felt a jobless person shouldn't think of a relationship. I so much love this girl but I fear I have lost her alongside my job. I was heart broken by that fact. I can move on as fast as possible tho. I won't deceive you. Folks who tend to have a girlfriend while broke don't do well. Your romance gratification should be delayed till you are financially stable. You aren't hindered from finding love though. Tell her what's up and watch her reaction. If she truly loves you, she wouldn't separate from you. If otherwise, then you should focus on your establishment |

Don't let your mind hold you back. Be positive and confident. Let me give you a hint - when next you converse with her, assume she likes you. It would automatically boost your confidence. Moreover don't think too much nor pretend. Just be yourself and be positive. But this your lady seem not to have regard sha. If she doesn't agree, move on. Don't try forcing her to accept you and don't pretend to get her. About all you can do in life is be who you are. Some people will love you for you. Most will love you for what you can do for them, and some won't like you at all.
P. S - IF YOU JUST WANT TO BLEEP HER, ABEG DON'T EVEN READ MY ADVICE. . I DON'T ADVICE FUCKBOYS |
