Mko123:Everything is not tribalism. What should concern you is how foreigners have been scheming to have access to Nigerian gas |
Hmm |
You see these people called Nigerians? They are Nigeria's problem! How on earth did you conclude that bunch of people on motorbikes are terrorists? A fair assessment would be government needs to check these kind of interstate travels. NB if you travel by road in Nigeria you'll know that this form of economic migration is common this season. Before the Sallah break you'll see these guys heading Northwards on bikes from the South to go and celebrate the holidays with their family. Some times during planting season these form of movements happen back and forth between urban and rural regions. With the current spate of insecurity this is a strategic failure on the part of government - horde of unemployed youths whose main source of engagement is OKADA, security concerns as bandits use this mode of transport too, if you ban the OKADA what do you do with the horde it leaves behind ? It seems this country lack thinkers and people with foresight to do strategic scenario analysis of policies. |
OP Nigerians are just mostly wicked, they never give you benefit of the doubt, and we have an equally biased media who report theories and outright lies all in the bid to be "first to break". For nigerian it's either I get it or no one gets it. If am down so should every one. If am up no one else should be. How will Heavens be kind to such wicked people who think that way. |
See how some people believe the police now, the same police PR that they love to hate |
I think inec needs to up their game. But boys should also note that this PVC is not instant o. When I did mine some years ago, you get a slip then after months they call you to get the TVC or temporary VC. Then after few more months the PVC will be ready. I think these delay are for control purposes and security features on the PVC, otherwise you will start seeing PVCs on Jumia courtesy of ourselves or like we like to deceive ourselves, we say our politicians. So guys let's not allow the euphoria and frenzy of the moment get into us and destroy the fragile system INEC is managing. |
Am I missing something. I thought the Ebu-whatever guys were set up to check activities of UGM, besides, just yesterday we saw locals cheering when UGM killed ebu-guys and parading their corpse around town. So let me understand are these guys OK with the routine Monday killings UGM carryout, because when the police were being killed you cheered, when Ebu is killed you cheer and when UGM kill you cheer. So what do you really want. |
I agree with point 4. The others are circumstantial |
O boy e hard o. Because even for north dem don dey scarce now. No thanks to this "one eyed devil" called hand held devices |
Are you guys willfully ignorant or just being mischievously biased. Must we always view our problems from the prism of religious or tribe, no wonder nothing gets solved in this country. Across the North terrorist are maiming thousands in Sokoto, zamfara, Niger,Kaduna, Benue etc. Even in Kaduna there are attacks across Kaduna (North and south). The train kidnapp in Kaduna, did they only kidnap or killed Christians? The audacity of your ignorance is bewildering! Vote your choice and let others be, that is my it is a multi party democratic system. |
Thanksful:And this ladies and gentlemen, is the bane of Obi's politics - naivety. I guess the old dogs are just going to roll over and allow Obi's phantom electorate have it |
This guy is still a political novice. "Keep your friends close and your "enemies" closer" - The art of war. |
minasi4841:I thought those behind insecurity in the East where DSS and Fulani! Are you saying soludo should leave them alone to continue their pillage and plunder? Bunch of clowns who will commit unspeakable atrocities against their people just to implicate others |
Peter Obi himself is not a problem, but his people are. A good publicity outing in the north should be a win for him - nothing more. He should then play the patience game that PMB, BAT, Atiku etc have all or are still playing. But if is patient, are his people patient? |
Ok |
Nigerians can never be satisfied. First it was southern president, now its a Christian president. I wonder what's next. I thought we were in a democracy. Make your choice and let ther make theirs. May the best candidate (for the country) win |
I don't know but the way the wife keeps muttering things as if to keep him on track gives me the cringe. She is showing herself too early |
Bonesbreaker:You don't start building an ark on the day of the flood. Unfortunately as passionate as his speech was it is addressed to the wrong audience |
Interesting... I wonder how Tinubu will navigate the delicate running mate conundrum |
Wrong analysis Modified. I don't know if it's arrogance or ignorance, first you assume you know what the "North" is thinking. That's why you are always a step behind. One thing I can guarantee you from the north is no northern leader/cleric worth the name would dare claim he is more Muslim than a southern Muslim- so if that will be the campaign against BAT it is DOA. Even the tribal card would be a tough sell in the north to the "arewa talakawas" because of Buhari's impact on the region or the lack of it. Personally I haven't made up my mind on who to support but the more BAT is vilified the more "curious" we get |
Do you really think if Buhari had wanted Tinubu out he wouldn't have done so? Buhari is just being Buhari, no one knows his mind (sometimes I think even he doesn't know his mind) The so called cabals were hoping for Buhari's nod to dislodge Tinubu- but it never came. The pro Tinubu group were also hoping for his nod to solemnize their candidate- but it never came. Hence the struggle for supremacy by both camp. Unfortunately, that's Buhari, he is who he is |
I saw a thread where some one read meaning into the first lady choice of fashion at the convention that if was a subtle endorsement of BAT. I didn't think much of it. But watching her after Amosun endorsed Tinubu, the way she clapped and raised her hand you would think she's trying to shade someone . An I told you so clap. See below

He would have to fight the urge of going for VP if called upon |
First, a message to his followers: no insults please. I can see Peter Obi has a large online following, that is good, because politics is also about popularity. His supporters promote him as a man of integrity, honesty, and a perfect gentleman. These are also traits we desperately need in our politics today. But wether or not this online popularity translates to actual votes is something yet to be seen. So here are my humble submissions 1. Peter Obi has the potential to become a "phenomenon" in Nigeria's politics- but does he have the patience? Buhari (never mind the failure he has become) gave contesting a shot for 3 times or more, Atiku they say has been contesting since 1992! Is Peter Obi ready to do the time? Make no mistake, it will take a miracle for him to be a runner up not to speak of winning the contest in the coming general election 2. Politics is about building bridges. Although this is his first shot at the office in a general election he needs to work on building strong and lasting alliances in the south west and North as a whole. Currently he is lacking that. 3. Get your house in order. Obi needs a strong support base in the south east itself. During the 2019 elections he did not have the support of the entire South east (or at least the political elite) when he was VP. Currently he has an impressive online followership, but like I said earlier it is yet to be seen whether these are resident Nigerians with actual PVC or automated bots in the diaspora. The general election will show that 4. Sell yourself. I don't know if it's because of lack of it or just a failure on the part of his handlers but there seems to be absence of tangible, strategic achievements by him when he was in office. Although this will not hurt his chances but if they are available it will help to win over more people I rest my case |
Next stop; Is it OK to allow my husband be a FATHER to his DAUGHTER ![]() |
Do they have any leverage to demand anything from Putin now? After flooding Ukraine with the limited arsenal of weapons Europe possess and yet still beaten blue-black by the Russians, they are still "demanding"? E be like say day neva break for Europe |
Hmm! trust politicians at your own peril BTW being a delegate is the highest paying job in Nigeria currently. Its sad that our future will be determined by these money mongering hordes and everyone is acting as if its ok ![]() |
My wife, then my betrothed said she was never going to get married to a banker or a lecturer As GOD will have it after our marriage I've worked in two banks and have taught at a Federal University ![]() Although I've moved on to another career path, but I always remind her of this. |
Dvdpity:Thats weird |
Her name is Elvira Nubiullina, the brains behind the strengthening rouble. Ensured that Russia has been paying her sovereign debt when due (at least so far) But love her or loathe her (I mean Russia) she has defied all the gloom and doom predicted by western "intelligence "
