doge/betece looks to have held good structure Converted some of my betece into doge at 550 sats.... Target is 640 sats and maybe 700 sats (quite wicky)... Atleast, that should cover the drawdown from betece I bought above 60k.... Obviously, if it can create a new high against betece, it'd do that in usd Obviously, after such a rally, trades on doge come with increased risk.... But then, doge held very well during the selloff.... And there's still good liquidity in it as folks are relentlessly buying
|
This is a 5hr betece chart i.e relatively strong.... 3 successive candles (including the selloff) have held support at the 54.9k level..... Good chance that level holds and at least a rally towards 58-60k... Picked small position in alyts and would be playing them to previous breakdoen level. The daily close will give mire information

10 billion dollars in liquidations... Na leverage traders dey follow cause the wahala... Why people no go focus on spot? Or trade futures with low leverage.... You'd see someone using 125x... Haba.... You wan finish binaz? Well all that brings in liquidity. But then, crypt0 is volatile enough to mk good mobey... Leverage no easy Some of these selloffs look like something the exchanges orchestrate mk dem collect people crypt0.... Once folks start betting greedy, you can be sure a wipeout is coming
|
Funny thing us when I look at my portfolio, the loss was little... Most of my coyns are close to entry level... Zil... Entry was below 0.2 and added 0.215... currently at 0.19 Rvn... Entry was 0.22... currently at 0.19 Ada entry was 1.38-1.4... currently at 1.2 Doge.... Still scalping for more profits Zrx... This one had more pullback... It's at 1.7 now... Entry was at 2... Trx, xrp and xlm are well in profit (though reduced)... My leverage trade on xlm was stopped out in profit. I'm saying to point out the need of buying support.... In alyts entry is everything... If you're not buying HTF support, then buy the confirmation of a proper breakout... That's a dependable strategy that'd save person... No need of a prophet to point it out |
Cannicus:Hehe.... There's lots of support below...and 42k isn't guaranteed... The time to short was at 64k or yesterday's close... Rather than short betece sef, it's more profitable to short alyts once betece starts breaking down cos they'd collapse.. careful though, this market is volatile enough to make money without leverage Eitherway, if you see way, run am |
CryptoMatic:Let me adress this... It's seems you're very new in this market... I have said it multiple times, the last proper correction betece had was the selloff from 12.4k to 10k in August... All we've been having since are pullbacks... When we have a proper correction, you go know... I have traded this market in a bear run, I was live around the March crash. A 15 - 20% betece pullback is another day here... We'd sure have multiples of that... Secondly, the mistake most new folls make is that they keep looking for 'prophecies' rather that develop a profitable trading partnern and good risk management... I have been in this market long enough to telk you that no one can say exactly what betece will do in the immediate future... We use charts to help identify actionable trades and lock-in profits. The best traders I know are wrong on almost half of their trades... There's lots more to active trading than you think You fail to understand Thirdly, the reason why I'm more active recently is cos were in a bullrun.. it's now the money will be made.. Even if betece crashes to 40k, I'd still be in huge profits... For some folks, the concern is how much more profit theyd maje tgis run and not if they'd be in profit or not. There are times I take trades just a few times in a month and forget it there for almost 6 months... Sometimes, all I do is buy so I can selk some months later... I trade more actively now cos tge market is getting more volatile. Also, know that trading timeframes differ. Someone who bought betece at 6k is not bothered about what betece is doing now... Rather than get salty, why not outline a profitable trading strategy (long or short term) which you have used and found helpful so we can all learn |
Sailor1:Woke to carnage.... Another day in crypt0... Heard multiple price alerts go off in my dleep but didn't bother cos I knew I'd likely make a rash decision... I don't market sell in the middle of a selloff cos you'd likely sell the bottom Yesterday closed back within the range (beliw 61.2k)... I was looking for a bounce today to reaccess positions but sellers put on the heat immediately... Earlier on, the 50day ema (1st pic- green line) held and eith showed also strength but they both seem to be breaking down too... This ema has been where bitc0in has always bounced for the past 8 months. Like I've said before, if we close a daily candle below this level, then I'd be targeting the 21 week ema (2nd pic) which is at 43k... That should properly reset the market... If betece keeps sliding down and eith fails to show strength, then alyts will bleed heavy... I'd be looking for how the day closes but then, like the last such corrections can happen relatively quick. Zooming out, betece has had 6 green months... A proper correction will come either sooner or later... I'd still call this a pullback... If it heads down to 43k, that'd be a proper correction. The first since August 2020... alyts will sure capitulate. One reason why I say it's too risky not to hold betece at this stage On how I'm playing this, I'm not buying this dip just yet until I see strength or at least the daily close. As part of my trading pattern, I always have cash irrespective of the market condition. I'm about 50% in cash now as I reduced some positions early on and waiting for the daily close...With alyts, there is no rush.... There'd be opportunities once the market conditions are right. Even with the dump, I still made a quick scalp on doge For new folks, this is a normal part of trading crypt0... Selloffs will always happen and they'd always be brutal.... No need trying to time or predict most... Rather focus on building a profitable trading strategy that'd bring profit whether in a bull or brear run

Betece daily close looks sh*tty.. Wonder why betece likes causing havoc when things are going smoothly... Let's see how today pans out... Not looking good so far |
Finally, for coyns I'm in now, Those I'm looking to move Zil (entry was velow 0.2.. just added at 0.215) Ada (entry 1.38-1.42) Rvn (entry was 0.2)* Zrx (entry 1.8, added at 2)- not so bullish on this but eitherway, I've got a bag Those that hve moved and I'm looking for an exit Xrp, xlm, trx Stuff I've got on my radar: Theta, chz, troy.... *Rvn is a very wicky coin... Reason I bought is cos it's been consolidating for sometime and was at support (so was a good entry with acceptable risk/reward)... If you can't get an entry close to support, then it might be better waiting for a clear breakout above 0.3.. too much selloffs in between |
sconp:Thank you my brother... Everyone will carry bag at some point in time |
Ibime:Hehe... Guys would blame me for what I didn't do... I made so much posts here on the day doge pumped... I don't think there's a trade I hyped as much as doge... Afterwards, I remember telling folks that if you bought before 0.09, then 2x is the minimum, also that people should avoid buying after they've sold so they don't get trapped... Told folks that doge will give you a bull run in 2 days... Wetin I wan tok again? If I remember correctly, you sold at 0.125... finally, na still profit.. I don't give sell targets as much again.. remember when I shared a trade on aave from 95 and sold at 395. Someone came to tackle me afterwards that after I sold, aave continued rallying to 450. After that, I say no wahala... I take profits as I see fit and let people take profits too as they see... Entries differ... Folks can be waiting for a target and get dumped on |
Sailor1:Quick 30% on this... Closed half for good profits.. let half continue with a target of 0.35... would close if I start seeing weakness.. Doge seems to be a gift that keeps giving... Looking forward, I wouldn't be bidding same support twice on the way down... I've attached a 6hrly chart of doge after the last pump... It kept bouncing off the 21 ema level until it had a second top about a week later... The 21 ema on the 6hrly chart is currently at 0.215 (not constant)... I'd be bidding that level and selling on bounces... Doge will keep pumping and be sold into... This market repeats itself. Retail folks would not stop buying doge for a while... Me na to dey buy low and sell for good profits...
|
mike8804:You can play it within the levels though |
Went shopping with doge profits.... Lots of coyns seem to be on discount... Still sticking to my list.. hopefully betece can close the day above 61.2k.... Let the new week bring some jow |
DieRich5:No idea... Not a coin I trade or track |
Sailor1:Bid the 21ema on the 4hrl chart at 0.231.. sell target is 0.31... Good bounce so far these are smaller scalps which I intend to bid on the way down.... Would avoid playing any trade more than once
|
Cannicus:Yeah |
Wolfgang82:Hehe... Careful brother on this... Not a breakout yet If not already in position, it's worth waiting for a clear breakout and retest above previous highs (highlighted) Good chance this is sold into at 1.2... might be worth taking dome profits there if already in. It's a trade like this I'm looking to take on doge in the coming week
|
sconp:Good stuff but most times on betece I look at the HTF ema as it doesn't tend to respect the ema's on lower time frames except when trending... On alyts, it's different.. From what I'm seeing, taking a step back, betece had struggled with the 61.2k (dotted line) region for weeks.. It's just managed to close 3 daily candles about it. To me, that confirms the area as support and I'd see this pullback as a retest.. Those who's buying caused the breakout, are not selling yet. I'd only get worried if it starts closing a daily candle below this area. I have been averaging into Betece from 61.5k and have bids down to 59.5k (21d EMA)..... If it closes today and possibly tomorrow above 61.2k, then the retest should be complete and we trend higher... I'd rather buy at these levels that buy at 70k. On the 4hry, like you said, it's trending down... Good chance it's looking for the 21d ema which it usually bounces off... Also, there are some stops before that which would be taken out on a pullback... Overall, I'm not bearish, and would only be if its starts closing below the breakout...

Raptor2cool:First, your profit early on was because eith rallied from 600 dolls to 1400 dolls.. Had nothing to do with lun0 and you'd have got same profits on any exchange. To calculate your increase, you need to note what price you bought a coyn and the current price I can't comment much as I don't track c0ins in naira, but what I'd say is that if you're interested in the crypt0 space and want to invest good money in it, then it's worth finding out how and why your money 'grows'.. Just throwing your money in and hoping for an increase ma y not be the best strategy |
DeSepiero:I'm generally not a fan of buying a coyn that has recently been on a rally. While I think there's a good chance it rallies above 2, the risk/reward at this level isn't as great...I've not seen evidence of significant profit taking just yet... Most folks who bought for weeks below 0.6, are not selling yet Remember the breakout was 0.6... and at 1.8, its 3x already... That's significant for a major and even exrp. In summary, while I'm still in it cos my initial entry was at 0.6 and 0.9, I can stomach a significant pullback and sit in it longer than someone who is getting in at this range... A more pragmatic approach now will be to target a clean breakout above 2 dolls. That'd prevent you from being stuck in a range... Sell targets should be at 2.4 initially and anything upto 3 dolls |
nihilistjnr:I had spoken abot doge for a while (I remember being stuck in it's accumulation range and having to move out but still kept my etes on it)... Was consistently posting the day it broke out... Afterwards, I remember telling folks that the mistake I made on previous pumps and most make with a doge pump is selling too early... That if you got in below 0.09, you're entitled to at least 2x... Betece dipped and people got scared and sold off for about 30% gain... It's like someone who bought betece at 18k, and sold at 22k after it broke previous ATH of 20k In this market, I can be very cautious... There a times I run away with 5% gain... But also, there are times to be greedy... some opportunities don't come everyday... And sometimes, people overtrade their profits away. On doge just like last time, most rallies would be sold into for now as folks are stuck... but retail is still interested and they'd keep buying... I'd be looking at opening a large position around 0.12 ish... Good chance it challenges 0.45 in the coming 1-2 weeks just like last time. Before that, I may just play it on the bounce using the 4hr chart |
Raptor2cool:What's was the percentage rise in betece and eith and how much increase were you due based on how you split your portfolio. Sounds like you just expected your account to grow because folks said betece moved. You need to make the calculation based on your entry point and current price. |
Can be annoying how I held these 2 rascals for a while without them doing much... Finally after selling tgem to partake in doge, they started rallying when doge wasn't yet done... I'm now looking for a re-entry... Wouldn't stress it and wouldn't chase either.... Doge was a good one... One of my best trades for a while... it's clear why I have been tracking it like a rascal for over 2 months.... I was angry I didn't benefit optimally from the first two despite knowing it'd pump. This time around I wasn't going to take chances... Liqidated a good chunk (less than half) of my trading portfolio into between 0.88 and 0.9... My target was 4-5x from breakout as I do with most parabolas... End result? 1.8 betece profit... It and xrp had made the last two weeks of trading beautiful... some pumps are worth the bull run Looking for similar retirement packages... Hope the chosen ones come thru
|
Who else remebers xem ![]() Shared thoughts after the selloff a while back..... The first attempt to retake the 0.5 level was heavily sold into as expected... Another attempt is ongoing. A flip of that level should bring further upside... There are still resistance zones above that'd need to be tested. Just brought it to point out that coins don't usually just moon, structure has to be respected and resistance zones flipped. I was surprised when people were rushing in after the initial selloff abd making targets of 1 dolls... While that is possible, structure will need to be built first. When trading in such a volatile market, I prefer to join in when structure has been confirmed and not wait endlessly... Opportunity cost matters
|
damzy88:Question is are you in or are you planning to get in? |
strom:Yeah... Doge nd eith pump usually portend good news.... |
All coins will pump but some will pump more Look at the doge chart against usd and betece and look for charts that look similar... Coins that went parabolic several weeks back and have been consolidating with structure. If they breakout, good chance they'd repeat a parabolic run.. |
We've got to a stage of the market where greed starts reaching crazy levels... Folks would be leveraging with little consideration to risk looking to eake in millions... Of course, the market will look to flush out as many as possible... Hence volatility will be constant... With alyts I'm keeping it simple... Maximum of 5 Looking at... Coyns that have had significant rallies before and have built good structure over recent weeks Coyns that look good against betece also. Get in at either support or on breakout and confirmation... It's to risky to be stuck in a range now... Good cahnce some coyns will fo 2-3x at least n the coming weeks |
Lemme quickly drop this... I see this betece dip as a retest which has been defended so far... Understanding the cycle in this market is important... Doge and eith pumps always signifiy something for this market... In the coming days to weeks, except if Betece dumps (which is unlikely), alyts will run and run crazy.... Keep thigs simple... Such opportunities do not come often Thus is the time of the market where all most have to do is position well and allow the market bless them... In trading alyts, of recent I've stuck to certain criteria which I've shared here and has been well profitable for me... |
