I see, it seems all these coins apart from Bitc0in doesn't have any useful usecase, they are just 'Make believe' coins. I read up about BNB and lots of jargons abt it being used for smart contracts, the interesting part is that it was built on Etherum network to allow lower Bitc0in transaction fees, that means for every bitcoin transaction BNB tokens can be used to settle fees.

Bitc0in trades more volumes meaning theoretically BNB Price should go up at every instance of Bitc0in transaction on Binance platform at least but practically it's false.

The facts are; when price of bitc0in goes up, BNB and it's cohorts pricing have a tendency to go up apart from during the BNB run where BnB token pricing kept going up which to me was a pump behind the scene.
When price of bitc0in slumps tokens such as BNB and it's cohorts definitely goes down.

In a nutshell Bitc0in is the king, there is nothing near bitc0in up till date.

Fact is betece is king and 99.% of alyts have no usecase and would go to almost zero in the long term. But tgen, they baloon out at sometime in a market cycle. Most folks target such times to increase their betece or make more usdt.

That said, bnb is a solid project that should see longer term appreciation.

For question one.... xrp for is a good project with very good target audience.....this normally should be a very high yield investment. But on the other hand, for banks to be able to use for international transfer

2. If price stability is required, will xrp still be able to give good high ROI like other coins giving 200% annually?

Question 2: boss I don tire I don't even know what I'm doing again.... that's why I just decided to put my money somewhere and forget it.

Trading for me is a spot, it is exiting for me but I kept loosing money made..... I'm still battling with emotional trading.

I'd say forget all the talk about banks... that has been ongoing for years. If banks wanted to use a crypt0, stable coins are better suited. Yes the parent company is in partnership with some banks regarding the underlying tech but ripple is a distinct entity.

I've shared this here before. Over 80% of old time crypt0 traders made that mistake (incl me) but wouldn't hold it for the long-term. I'm quite certain the reason it's caught your attention is cos you think its 'cheap'. Ask yourself, why has it continued to remain cheap all this while?

I'd say if you're looking for a long-term hold, first will be to look at its performance against betece or sometimes eith (which are the market leaders). If it's performing worse, you're better off holding betece. Look at the xrp/betece chart and see if that's what you want to hold. Also, the coyn should preferably have been around for a good while... Every bullrun has new names which usually fizzle out afterwards.

That said, it MAY still pump this run for quick bucks but wouldn't consider it for a long-term hold.

Regarding your losses, as is the case with most new folks, you kept giving your money to the market thinking you're day trading... I've said alot on that too

If you meant crypt0, yes you can 'average' that percentage (key word is average) over some time. But then, I don't daytrade and advise new folks against it. An overwhelming majority end up blowing off their portfolio

Look at the 1hr or 4hr chart (after midnight). This was merely a retest of support for some coyns...

If you didn't take profits, it's definitely your fault.
You were able to salvage your capital cos betece was merciful... On another day, your capital may be 50% down.

Guy! This post made too much sense. I had subconsciously followed this progression from Majors to Mid-caps returning 10-40% here and there, except G.R.T which returned me 90% but this post really spelled out the progression for me and gave me the confidence to enter an unlisted microcap called A.P.Y which I had been eyeing up which returned me 140%. At the same time, moving cautiously enough as this post spelled out, to exit all positions by Saturday night.

I joined this cycle late (1st Jan) and while I have taken decent profits, it was probably too late for anything life changing. I am also one of the lucky/unlucky few to have been in E.T.H in 2017 but exited too early in September 17 and missed a huge opportunity then. I am now eyeing opportunities to accumulate holdings during the next bear market to try and make the next bull cycle life changing. Which brings me to my question - where do you see the bottom for B.T.C after this cycle is over? Given we've had a lot of Institutional investment this cycle, I would expect a much higher bottom for the next bear market. I would appreciate if you have any thoughts on the matter. Thanks.

Regarding the bottom of the next cycle, I'd say it's too early to say... Depends on where and when this tops out...
But then, the 200 week moving average is a good guide as it's hardly ever breached.. it currently sits at 9k... But by the time we correct, it should be much higher..

Don't like projecting too much into the future... But if I'd hazard a guess, I'd say 30k may be the bottom... I know it's wild but lets see

For the past 48hrs I read so much about XRP because I chose the coin for a very long time investment option. But I've read a lot that makes me have a rethink.

I've check for the worst scenario for XRP and to me it's not really scary, moreover settlement is the most likely way out..this will be good for small traders like us....in the sense that, the fines will be on the current XRP on escrow by which Ripple plan to keep controlling the price at a stable price. That will reduced the power Ripple has on price control...they still hold over 60b xrp in escrow.

My problem with X.R.P is the main objective of the coin....the token is designed to be used as international bank transfer.

My worry.... for this to work, there must be price stability. will this not keep xrp price from rising above a particular price.

Guru in the house please enlighten me....this same applies to XLM because they are bird's of same feather.

Forgetting all the legal talk and focusing on the chart...two questions

1. Why did you choose xrp?

2. Do you think buying a coin for the long-term in the middle of a bull market is a good idea?

When I play major alyts, I chart them against eith or betc...

Took ada 2 weeks to fill the whole space... Its obvious why its stalling at the 0.54 level against eth level which corresponds to the 1 dollar level in usdt. I believe there's still some firepower left in this move, but it needs to refuel. But then, took some profits here into eth

Hoping similar plays out with others so I can fill my eth bags again.,

Take profit levels are well outlined... If it gives me ATH against eith, I'd gladly take it. It's not everyday a major hits ATH against eith.

We're having an expected betece retrace to give alyts room...

Tip.. watch out for alyts that hold their levels... They'd be the first to pump

2nd tip, take profits on the way up... Its always easier to sell that way

My thoughts too. People are taking profit as it approaches $300. However a big run day is usually followed by a retrace and we've seen more upside the following day. Maybe the sellers might get exhausted soon. I am willing to hold one or two more days. I entered at $200 so already in 35% profit, however more will be nice.

Fact is those still stuck in it without taking profits played the trade very poorly. Such traits will see people keep adding at the top of any spike. It's that kind of trade that empties people's portfolio at the end of the bullrun. A major that has done over 300% in 2 weeks is not the one to keep adding on. It was so obvious that yesterday was the day to exit. Alot of coins were virtually on discount yesterday.

When folks were screaming bnb to replace eith and bnb to 1000 it became obvious that most will lose on that trade even if it eventually got to 1000... The 250 level they were laughing at yesterday may be the one they would be looking to sell if it does not hold. Most who said it would replace eith would sit there and jump out at a loss when others start moving.

Same scenario played out with doge. Folks kept screaming doge to 1 dollar... And were adding more as it was rising... They had to exit lower.

Even if betece goes to 1million usd, the fact is majority of people will still lose money. And that's not because betece is a scam. Simply cos of greed

B.N.B keeps getting rejected too many times at $300 level. If it cannot break through within a couple of days, it will start to worry. Observing.

What I'm seeing on the hourly chart are bearish retests of previous supports (blue lines) which is being vigorously sold into...

The obvious strong support areas are around 250 and then 200 (shaded zones) which is where a significant bounce may occur... I'm leaning towards a retracement to at least 250 and to see if it holds.

The bullish side will be to get above and flip any of those resistance zones. This may be unlikely soon as folks seem to have taken profits and moved elsewhere and those stuck will look to sell into any pump... Also, volume has been on the decrease. But then, it's been in a parabola and one can never tell if buyers will outweigh sellers.

Not forgetting its a major that has done over 300% in few weeks... It's likely to stall for a while before any further upside... Concern here will be that stalling may mean consolidation or distribution which portends different outcomes for holders...

On the second chart, it's hit ATH against eith... Most majors will stall at that level. That said, I've seen eith retrace such candles before e.g on link and theta..

If in doubt, clear outthe whole parameters and on the 'available' area, you'd see the one you're converting and how much of it you own

On a macroscale, this run has not topped yet. Betece may continue pushing up or it may selloff and continue later on... I'm not really keen on trying to time the top

No one knows how far it can go, so I trade in blocks.
The January alyt run was due to betece moving from 20k to 42k and profits cycling into alyts...
This current run is based on betece breaking 42k. It may top around between 60-65, and retrace giving alyts room to catch-up... It's the profits from this stage I'm looking to maximize. After that, I reevaluate... Not keen in making estimates on how high up it can go eventually. Just trading in blocks.
From 58k, I'd start selling betece I bought between 30-40k. I prefer selling on the way up

I said earlier, I repositioned my alyt portfolio during the last dip... Looking to track fewer coyns that'd form 70-80% of my base and leave a lil percentage for new stuff...

Closed Atom at 24... Got in between 8-9... Plan was 27 buy cut it early...
For SXP, thankfully took some profits at 2.9 resistance b4 the dump.. will be looking to take the rest off the table between point 2 and 3 on the chart...
Ren also running... Thankfully, I didn't dispose everything... Will sell most off on this push...but would have to be for substantial profit.


My plan is to sensibly switch profits into lagging coyns (at support)...
Once the market starts getting overheated. I'd slowly start scaling into fiat... Also depends on what betece is doing... The next pullback may take a while, but I want to be ready for it when it comes.
Though I still have some stops in place, I'm not looking at them to determine my trade.

I'm not keen on naming specific coyns. I and others share thoughs on certain projects or trading plans. It's for you to decide what you want to trade.
Also giving specific time is not my thing as the market can be the opposite of what we have now in one week.
From the way you sound, it looks like the money is one you definitely need in 1-2weeks. It's not advisable to invest such.

Wrx is one that has been in a downtrend for a long time. Recently blasted thru its ATH. My purchase is 33% up already... Even with the ban, one can argue it has a better use case than most of the micros we have out there.. May take some profits soonish and let the rest run. India ban on crypt0 is old news. They do that every year. Even before binance purchased wazirx.
Doge on the other hand is still consolidating but showing good signs.

Threw lil cash into wrx at 0.24..another exchange coyn owned by binance and ran after the last bnb pump... Also like how the PA is developing above ATH....

Also got a lil doge at 0.055.....like how the PA is developing too

P.s. these are not my major trades... These are just spot scalps to ride the trend.

BTW, the more I look at xrp, the more it looks like it wants ATH around 3..very possible in current market conditions. Also, not as many sellers as before. That said, it has to deal with the 0.7 to 1 area first
