bizzibodi:Question is what is your sell target? No one can say if it will dip below 1 or not. Nd I'm not focused on that I'm more interested in if its is a good buying range for ada and not necessarily trying to buy the exact bottom. Look at it this way; If it breaks out of this range, the upside would be significant and wouldn't matter if you bought at 1.04 or 0.99. If betece holds, I don't see it dipping much more Ada has performing well against eith and I'm already in position. |
elmas:Not sure. Haven't used it before. For now, p2p seems to be the way |
owunabastard:Not experienced that... But if it takes too long and the deal is not closed, you can appeal... May be the usual delay in bank transactions. Has it been sorted? |
Support held on betece yesterday... Betece volatility is down Betece claims 51k and settles then we should see a weekend alyt pump... Seems January is playing out again. Lots of them look ready. I'm already in position (with stops of course)
|
Elsueno:This bitc0in cycle is still not peaked yet... By that I mean looking at the macro rally not the next few weeks or months sef... This phase is when betece settles and money flows into alyts.... Same like what we saw in January |
Neverlosemoney:Charts aren't useless. People expect it to tell them what betece will do in the next minute which is impossible. Only God knows exactly what a market absolutely do in future. Price action is king and that is quite unpredictable. What charts do is show us how people react to similar price movements in the past. And we see that's a repeatable pattern. And the repeatability can be quite striking as coins move and stop at certain levels for a reason. I trade higher time frames and understanding basic candle patterns have really helped my trade. For me, entry and risk management are everything For example, I rely strictly on charts to know when to put in fresg cash into the market. I've not put in fresh cash since late December on January and so far its helped me... When we get a deep enough dip, I'd deploy some fresh cash... For now, I'm willing to compund what I have in there already. |
AerialMapper:Truthfully, you dont need to... It might just give you an edge. All charts do is show price action whoch is largely based on market fundamentals and human emotions. We know humans will always act similarly under same conditions, hence why some can patterns can be recognised, repeated and tradable. The most trusted principles are still the basic ones... And they cut across all markets.... Buy low, sell high. Avoid being greedy, plan your trade and stick to it...e.t.c... You don't need charts for those and it's where majority fail at. |
Alot of coins (mainly micros) look ready and are already reclaiming lost levels.. Reason is simple... Eith is rallying against betece. Up 3.5% in last 24hrs. Has formed what looks like an inverted 'neck and shoulder' which is usually a reversal pattern. Also, betece is being tamed and is looking less volatile. We may see what happened in January repeat itself... This is usually where monet from betece flows into alyts We may still have a dip into support levels tested yesterday but I expect it to be brief... Once that level holds, alyts should start rallying towards evening... Just like Fushionchimera pointed with bnb, targets are simple... Previous highs at the first instance... On whay to buy if a dip holds, look for those that have held levels... quite a number did (still sticking with my prev list...xrp collaped though) P.s, openheaven has mentioned ksm (2nd chart) before... I just noticed it hardly flinched during this deep...also its a relatively new coin (they seem to rally well). I don't have any yet, but it'd be an interesting one to watch. Set my alerts at 280 to monitor a breakout... Might pick up some then.
|
Most of PA yesterday was traded in this range... Though its a 15min chart, it tells a story... Seems large volumes of limit buys were placed and buyers were not interested in market buys that'd cause sharp pumps.... They were ready to sit back, create buy walls and watch their orders fill Let's see how today goes....and if this level still holds
|
Elsueno:It's always good to take profits on the way up... We're in a bull market and such steep corrections are expected. But then, if you sold at 50k expecting a huge dip, it currently sits at 49k... I'd say it's hardly a bargain. Let me ask, what price are you looking at getting back into the market? |
MrCodeSolo:Eith has crossed 2k.. though it was technically rejected from that level. In this market, I wouldn't speak in absolutes. But then, I'm a bit excited with the amount of flak eith is getting.... Most times, it's when the majority all believe one thing that the market does the other... That most alyts lagged betece on this last move up was simply because eith did not show strength. The Eith/betece chart has been the most dependable marker for alyt strength. Eith has averagely had about the strongest PA of any alyt over the past 1 year. Since 2017, we've always heard how one coin or the will overtake eith or betece. Till date, none has come close... Few weeks ago when bitc0in was ranging and alyts running, I was trying to convince people that bitc0in runs this market. Folks said other coins will soon overtake betece. Today we've seen what betece can do to the market |
Ibime:Not necessarily... Who do you think is buying at the 45k level? There's been heavy selling into that area and it still looks strong... Those selling don't have an infinite amount of betece and buyers don't have an infinite amount of cash For now, it seems buyers are ready to sit at the low of the range and watch sellers fill their orders. Large volumes of betece have been traded at this level. Only a matter of time before one group gets exhausted.... Let's see how today goes |
pragmatistm:Hehe... I've never seen a bullrun that lasts a day... I usually don't day trade.. dropped what I'm looking at above |
Interesting daily close on betece... So far, it's respected the 48k level well which corresponds to the 21 Daily EMA. Looks like a similar scenario to what happened in January is playing out (first chart).... In January, it corrected for about 3 days and later bounced and stabilised over the 21EMA.. it was then that eith rallied taking alyts with it. I've added the eith daily chart (second chart) which shows how it rallied when betece stabilised. Later on, betece still broke through the 21ema and found support at the 50 EMA (purple line) and rallied from there. The 50 EMA currently sits at 40k. Also, volume seems to be picking up which is a good thing but not yet upto January levels (though this is from binance only) I'd say that if betece can hold the 21ema as support today, then there's a better chance it rallies towards previous highs and stabilises for sometime which should give alyts room. So far, there's been constant selling into the 45-46k level and it hasn't budged.. Not a bad sign. Shows buyers are present there.
|
The battle of 45k.. Nice hourly candle... Was already getting concerning but it seems buyers are intent on defending the 45k level at least for now. Also forming good market structure around it.. Let's see how the daily closes... Should be an interesting one.. BTW, I'm seeing more and more calls for 40-42k.... That seems to be a perfect bounce area but Betece dips are rarely perfect... Either it doesn't dip to the expected level so people are left chasing or it nukes through and leaves folks pants down... Brutal market |
Hafyz23:Yes, If into altys and didnt catch the dip today then it's worth waiting till tomorrow at least.... Let the dust settle. Just identify those that have held HTF structure to get into. Usually after such dumps betece will like to test liquidity at support, if it holds, then we could see a slow grind up which would give alyts room... If it fails then 40k beckons which will be more blood for alyts. That said, alyts may not capitulate as much if 45-46k isn't broken |
Cowbell521:I wish I had the answer you're looking for... I for don dey sleep. Tomorrow should determine if this is the local bottom. If this level holds, then we should see some relief over the next few days.. that does not mean betece will not come back to test it in the future. That said, as far as betece forms a bottom above 40k and dosent break bullish structure, it's only a matter of time before alyts shine.. money has flowed into betece... That money will flow into other soins. Two things are needed; betece to be less volatile and eith to show strength against betece. My buying pattern in such betece dips is to start averaging in once there are signs of strength. 45k is a 22% drop which is not a bad place to get some betece in a bull market... How much further can it dip without breaking market structure... For alyts, its dicey... Lots of money is on the sideline waiting... Once betece settles, they'd rush in.... Getting some on a confirmation of this dip (perhaps 2moro isn't a bsd idea. |
Cowbell521:Wouldn't lie... I sniped some alyts yesterday thinking that betece would hold levels today... Didn't know it had other things in mind.. Good thing now is that most folks are calling for 40k (sensible to me) and betece likes to reverse when the majority thinks the bottom is not in...On the other hand, yesterday, most (incl me) we're convinced the bottom was in... The annoying thing is the volatility... That's an alyt killer |
BTW, where are all those asking for coyns to buy for the long-term... Is it only on green days they ask ? Abi dem don change their mind ![]() |
Cowbell521: ![]() Do you really think that if betece drops to 40k today you'd have the mind to buy?? It's easy to say, hard to do... Anyone who had 40k buy in mind, would have started averaging from about 45k down to 38k |
For yesterday and today combined, among majors, dot, ada and bnb have shown strength good strength... xrp collaped today under pressure (foundation no hold) If betece confirms a local bottom by tomorrow, these could be a good buy |
mike8804:I've not been following the tether story.... Thing is this is a typical betece move in a bull market... Pumped from 30k to 60k and corrected... Large pullbacks happen in a bull market... That's why people are caught out when the market turns... They believe it's just another pullback. We're feeling it bad cos alyts did not pump with it on the last move and most folks here don't trade betece... If you were in betece, you wouldn't feel it much |
Now that was a dip.... We keep hearing of 30% betece dips in a bull market... Now we never even hit 30% sef... red everywhere Today showed yesterday's levels of 50-52k didn't hold... Still believe we have a retest of todays levels tomorrow to see if they hold... Obviously, all previous supports have now become resistance... Eith hit 1400 which was its previous ATH... Very ugly... Eith refusing to hold contributed in killing alyts. I'm not so convinced with this betece bounce off 45k... There's still a good chance betece comes looking for 42-40 in the coming days or weeks.... Once betece confirms a bottom, alyts will move hard and should obliterate this dip... Eith has to lead the way though.... I'm dont trust alyts pumping without eith leading the way. This market no easy... But dont forget folks... Betece is at 47k... That's still huge...we were battling with 30k not too long ago.. Fact still remains, in a bull market, days like this are a gift... If you've not sold yet, selling after a 20% betece dip is likely a wrong idea unless you're convinced the market trend has flipped. Betece needs to cool down. This volatility is the best way to obliterate alyts... |
Ibime:Lol... Of course betece rules the market... For me, it's still done over 100% from its price last week so I'm keen on buying it. Not saying it can't move higher afterall, about a billion usd was liquidated on binance alone today... The guy can keep pumping it to drive new retail... Most exchanges are doing it... Todays PA was something else... Usually, betece will go down to seek more liquidity and confirm support... Tomorrow will be the true test of the trend and determine alot |
Ibime:When u finally buy, it'd start dipping... In crypt0, you plan your trade and trade your plan |
BendingMoment:No one answer fits it... I once made a post on risk management and outlined lots of aspects to it... Whats important is knowing what works for you |
babanne:My buy target was between 52-48k... Below 40k was the bearish case scenario |
NOBLEstag:Uwlc There's been alot of on and off talk about tether for a long while.. Nothing has cone of it. I see them as a solid offering that have revolutionised the crypt0 space. I don't bother myself too much about the news. I've waited long for this bull market... The last thing on my mind is a distraction in the middle of it... So my answer is simple... I'm not really bothered, whatever happens, Crypt0 would survive. My own is to make money while it can be made |
Ibime:Hmmm... You might end up buying bnb much higher than you expected... You saw it hold support today despite the selloff... I'm sure if it starts dipping again, you'd pull your buy order.... Na 350 u fit finally buy am... |
Alot of altys doing well against eith... Thats a sign.... If you know, you know
|
kolagbemi:You seewhy it's too risky not to own betece |
Xrp showing signs.... If it breaks out now, I doubt the 0.7-0.8 resistance will hold it... I just pulled my sells I placed at that level.... Let's see how far this thing goes. It takes alot of strength and accumulation to withstand such betece selloff... A bit concerned about eith though |
