not financial advise,

Alot of majors have been compressed and bidding time... With betece claiming 42k, it officially unlocked a second alyt boom... During the dump, I realigned my portfolio and expecting at least x3 in the coming weeks...

In this wave, I'm more fluid in my trading as I believe things will move faster... I'd be taking profits of significant runs and compounding it on dips elsewhere. Already, I've removed one coyn from my portfolio today...looking to remove 2 or 3 more over the next few days
What bnb has done, I expect other offerings to do similar
Its worth seeking opportunities before they become obvious. That is where surreal profits are made

By volume, I mean the amount traded on the exchange. If people are using Bïnance network exchanges rather than E.T.H, then that's bad news for E.T.H Deefy exchanges

Hmm.. upside on bitc0in in the shortterm may not be as much.. If it was at 40k, I'd have said betece... Right now, it may cooldown around 60k to give alyts some room.
If I'd advise, why not split it 5 ways and buy eith, link, ltc and ada and Zil...
Don't sell any until its moved considerably... Reevaluate in a week or 2 and see.

That said, the ultimate responsibility of what you trade rests on u

I think E.T.H network has a fundamental issue that is depressing it's price. I've exchanged few coins on 1.imch and the lowest gas price I've paid is $50. I have wanted to exchange coins worth $1k and been quoted gas price of $300 before. Right now, this is a fundamental problem for E.T.H and why the price ain't moving. Only whales do swaps on E.T.H Network now, C.A.K.E is now doing volumes of $1bln per day as of yesterday which was U.N.I.S.W.A.P volume two weeks ago. I won't be surprised if it has overtaken U.N.I for volume as of today.

Add in developers seeking access to retail market which Bïïnance offers and you can see why people are bullish on B.N.B and nearly bearish of E.T.H. E.T.H deefy has had its cycle in August, December and Jan, now na Bïïnance turn.
Yeah.. heard lots abut the high gas fees. I usually trade spot and sometimes low leverage.

Not too long ago, traded volume on doge was higher than betece.. In an uptrend volumes can go parabolic. Sustaining that over the longterm is the issue
People quickly forget stuff in this space. Eith held the alyt market from dipping for about 3 weeks running. If eith or another major pumps now, everybody will forget bnb. That said, it takes alot for a mojor to move the way bnb has moved

You are making some bad mistakes..
First, don't put all your capital in one coyn
The best coyns to buy and forget still remain betece and eith
I trade micro coins but most of m capital usually remains in majors.
Lastly, have patience... most of those coins will still return to your buy price

Truthfully, I don't see any ideal entry point. That's not to say it can't keep moving up. It's currently retesting the 280 level

Question is at what point would you stop buying the dips?....

Anyday you check gainers and losers since February, you just know Ê.T.H deeeefyyyy network is dying. One should concentrate all their energy on Bïïnance Network at this stage of the cycle. How can these guys be doing this on a day when Baba B.T.C is marching?
Not necessarily.. stuff moves in circles.. Altys typically don't do as well when betece is accelerating
Aave there has done multiples earlier this cycle.. I bought aave at 100 and sold at 400.
Sushi has gone from 4 to 16 in a short time...
Some are cooling off now...

At this stage of the cycle, exchanges will look to pump their offerings so as to drive adoption. That said, binance have been doing well... Also, it's much easier to pump new offerings.

I'm here for the cash, but then, replacing eith isn't easy...

When i try to sell my BNB, i get option 1 selling and receiving cash balance of 676 or
Option 2 i sell via P2P in exchange for USDT for the sum of 854.
My question is; is it possible to sell the coins via P2P for 854 for cash transfer. In that case, I would have to navigate to the next page and find a trusted buyer and click on the RED sell button?
It's difficult to make out what you mean... I've not come across this before.

Usually, I only sell stable coins on P2P cos of volatility...and it's easier for me to calculate and I believe there'd be more usdt options on p2p
If the question is if you could sell via P2P, then yes you easily can...

Yeah you can... Theres quite a robust futures market in crypt0... Given the volatility, it can be very rewarding and equally very risky as one can lose their whole trading balance if not managed properly

E.g neo,ong, ont nd gas
Xlm and xrp (before U.S delisting)
Tfuel and theta...

Usually, one moves better than the other.. most times, when one moves, the other catches up soon.

Got some tfuel this am at 0.6... it's up to 0.9 now... About 50%... Theta still seems to be lagging.. will be adding up on that too.... Generally, tfuel moves better
InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Sailor1: 12:55pm On Feb 19, 2021
To dhare some thoughts...Already we've had some early runners...

I said earlier, I repositioned my alyt portfolio during the last dip... Looking to track fewer coyns that'd form 70-80% of my base and leave a lil percentage for new stuff...

Closed Atom at 24... Got in between 8-9... Plan was 27 buy cut it early...
For SXP, thankfully took some profits at 2.9 resistance b4 the dump.. will be looking to take the rest off the table between point 2 and 3 on the chart...
Ren also running... Thankfully, I didn't dispose everything... Will sell most off on this push...but would have to be for substantial profit.

My plan is to sensibly switch profits into lagging coyns (at support)...
Once the market starts getting overheated. I'd slowly start scaling into fiat... Also depends on what betece is doing... The next pullback may take a while, but I want to be ready for it when it comes.
Though I still have some stops in place, I'm not looking at them to determine my trade.

Hehe...
Why all this fisticuffs here... I'd say it's better we avoid personal attacks on people whose views did not play out or align with yours.
We're all here to make money and the ultimate responsibility of trading lies with you...
Also, no matter your views on a trade, it's good to weigh the opposite opinion. Folks will be wrong alot of times but maximizing gains on wins and managing risks on losses is what counts

Do u think bnb will still rise or its time to sell and move ahead??
The initial target from 150 breakout was about 250 which it's broken through.
It's difficult to time the top of such parabolas as they can push up irrationally... We've seen it with doge before. It can rally significant percentages before correction cos the buying pressure will be huge (BTW, it looks like that one is cooking something).

But the thing is that the more vertical it's rally is, also the likelihood of a sharp pullback... So if I was in such a trade, I'd keep taking some off the market at significant percentages as the rally progresses and not be adding in yet.. I prefer to average out that way. Or preferably, I chart it against betece and see where the resistance zones are.... The way it's going, it probable the rally may still have a third wave subsequently.

I seem to be the only one not understanding this "taking profits" phrase being used here. Or is it the same as normal trading which is buying low and selling high whilst expecting it to go low again before buying again? If that's the case then I don't see how hodl and taking profits will be in the same sentence.
Sorry I am asking though cos the phrase still confuses me till date... Let's take for instance:
I bought 1 BnB @50k NGN and after a week, it's worth 80k NGN... How do you "take profit" in this scenario? Cos if you take away the added 30k NGN from that coin, what's now left for you isn't 1 BnB but a fraction of it.
Unless you're saying you are selling and hoping for it to dip so you can buy again... Then if that's the case, then you're not a hodler but an HTF trader.
Look at it this way, what matters at the end of the day id not how much of a coyn you have but how much cash or stable coins you have..

From our example, if you bought bnb at 50k and after one week its 80, taking profit can be selling 0.25bnb for 20k. leaving you with 0.75... If it goes up to 100, you could repeat same.. Tomorrow when things dip, you have extra fiat at the side...
Of course, we are in a bullrun so you want to take profit at larger levels.. You can also leave some if you are worried it would continue running after you sell.
Another question will be when you buy bnb at 50k, what is your plan? Is it to own 1 bnb or to make profit?

P.S my using bnb here is just cos of the example you gave. Can relate to any other coyn

We always want our money to be growing thats why we keep jumping like Olosh.o just like Ojemedad said. 4 example d day we experience dip in almost all coyns no one look for signal. But I think that should have been d best day to buy more instead we were busy selling and holdl. I have learnt alot. And I believe there is still more to learn.
Please don't relent in your analysis even though someone antagonise you keep mentoring us.
Your likes and Openheaven2019, and that boss were dey show plenty potfolio etc are blessing to us all.

Abeg I need ur view on this
Can I enter ks.m maybe when there is a dip and which entry point are you suggesting. I can hodl for long and I can also be taking profit as it goes.
We all dey learn... most important thing here is to make and keep profits

I'm also missing Openheaven2019... maybe spambot banned him

Regarding KSM, its not a coyn I know... At this stage, I'm limiting the number of coyns I'm adding to my trades so I can monitor the ones I'm in better..
That said, its a relatively new coin and most of them are doing well. Its also difficult to time their upward trajectory

Boss I greet u

Don't blame some of us who FOMO and jump from one coin to another like Olo.sho , we just need instant daily profit like 10 or even 50% of our capital because some of us took loans and holding for the long term seems like eternity.
Ofcourse patience is the key to this business, and not everyone can have the patience of holding and seeing your money dipping at the same time another coin is pumping grin grin , what to do na to jump enter the one when de pump and get what you can get out of it and hope for another one tomorrow.

In the long run and so far I have come to understand that holding, taking profit as it goes is the best just like you always say. More reason we look up to you to give us tips, TA so we know the best one to invest. I believe your word like TB Joshua prophesy.
Hehe.... Long term holding is not always the best... Different trading styles suit different people....
I refrain from criticising people's trades cos everyone knows what they saw. But every market has its principles..and in this one, blind FOMO is dangerous
What you are trying to do is termed day trading or scalping... and that even requires much more skill and calculation... There are traders who have multiplied their portfolio in days just by doing that... the pump on bnb could have been played multiple times between support and resistance levels with leverage..

I'm not a consistent holder... As the market becomes more volatile, I'd hold for even less amount of time
InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by Sailor1:
I'd quickly drop a fairly long one on bnb cos it seems some folks got me wrong and some have also asked me my thoughts..

Yesterday, I said that I noted how bnb held the 120 level well thru the dump. I lookout for such PA during a dump.  Then it was at 135 and I said I'm only interested in it at 2 levels... Either on a retest of the 120level or on a claim and flip of 150. I was not ready to buy between those two as I did not know how long that range will last.
Obviously, it broke out and flipped 150 but I didn't get in cos I thought it'd cool off a while.

I advised some to hold on for a while when it first got to 175 and printed a bearish 15min candle. Obviously, it retraced to 160 before continuing up. If they had waited few minutes, they'd have got a better entry.

After the move from 50-150, it's broken out again.. measuring from the last, this move should easily bring it to somewhere around 250... Usually, such pumps happen in 2 phases. Also, with such pumps, it's difficult to time the top.

Generally, bnb is not a coyn I dont currently trade cos I've found it too wicky...

Now to my thoughts.... It's interesting that most people with FOMO didn't buy bnb when it was bouncing at last 120 last week.  Before I buy any alts, I look at the potential upside left...

In this bullrun, we'd continue to have similar pumps... And interestingly, folks will always come out to FOMO into each pump and say they want to hold for the long term. Let me ask, how many people are still think buying doge for the long term is a good idea?

Of course, for the duration of it's pump we'd have lots of comments on it. After that folks will move to the next pump... Most people chasing pumps will end up buying tops..then betece corrects and clears them out.

In a bull market, the market will cover most mistakes...but the fact is, until we learn to be patient and train our mind to buy support and not pumps, that person will likely lose lots in the long-term.

I'm here for the money not to hold stuff... Trust me, if you've not traded this market for at least a year and observed bear turns then it's advisable to take good profits on the way up. If you're looking for long term, it's much better to stick with eith or betece...

Finally, for those saying bnb will overtake eith and estimating 1000 and also the new long-term bnb hodlers look at the monthly chart below. How many bought during stage 1? How many of you noticed when bnb flipped its previous ATH at 40 and got in? If you knew it would overtake eith, why didn't you buy it when it was below 40 all this while....

The more I study this thread, the more I see why a large majority of folks will lose money trading...

Hmm...
Except if I'm absolutely sure the there's significant upside left in a coyn, I'm not of fan of chasing pumps...
That's why before I buy, I have an idea of your sell price and where to start taking profits...
When I sell for significant profit, I don't care what the coin does next.
History has shown that continuing to chase it will result in me buying the too and losing profits made initially...

If I'm concerned that a coyn may run after you sell, then I don't need to sell everything... I keep some back and see.. I call that a moon bag...

That said, if you're a scslper or day trader, running a trending coyn may suit you

When playing altys, its good to split your portfolio between multiple but manageable assets. It keeps you from jumping from one coyn to another... Timing the cycle is important and knowing when to play rith and play other alyts too...

Just to add in here that irrespective of what market frame you prefer to trade, there are times when it may just be better to sit tight for sometime and let the market do it's thing before taking profits at significant levels.

After the battering alts received and betece now clearing resistance, most alts should start making considerable moves in the coming days once betece holds. It's those first impulse moves that are important to catch
