You can take it back to the pickup centre, for them to help you process the return but they'll still ask you to call customer care.

Alternatively if u're in Lagos and on the mainland, their experience centre at Yaba e-center can collect and process the return for you.

Go to settings and choose to update using mobile data, update Ur phone and it'll go away never to return

That's not a surprise since it has a metal frame and a huge battery, others are lighter cos most of them have plastic frame and covers and the battery capacity is far less than the A3s

Could be possible you got a defective device, but not to worry. Just call the Jumia customer service line and schedule a return. They'll fix a date and send someone to come pick it up, then check the device themselves, if all corresponds with what u claim then u'll get a refund which u can use in reordering.

Word of advice don't buy iPhone from AE, secondly shipping from China is crazy cos of the pandemic so be careful.

I just got the umidigi A3s from jumia, received my phone last night.
everything was Perfect, until this morning I tried to set finger print and pattern, the phone hang, tried putting it off to Power it back again,nothing.
Now screen has gone blank, nothing is showing.
I tried plugging it on my pc, it's not showing but the pc made some sound, meaning it's still on but screen is just blank.
what do I do?

Press and hold power button for about 20 - 30secs to force a reboot, if case still remains the same, call Jumia and return the phone.

I would advise against it, gearbest is a scam especially when compared to AliExpress, you can go ahead if you want but like @isco10 suggested please buy insurance, u only lose the insurance fee but u get Ur full refund, I lost 84dollars on a 134dollar transaction cos I didn't buy insurance.

Did u notice where it's written shipped from abroad? Which means u're paying before delivery and u'll wait for 60days and above for delivery due to the pandemic.

I would advise you increase Ur budget and buy from Jumia express, and get Ur device in 3-7days.

never ever do that. D golden rules when joining batteries either in parallel or series is never add dissimilar batteries together. Their charging and discharging rates are different.

I feel its high time we stop all these updates causes battery drain. Even if it does give it some days and hard reboots it will get back to normal. I think any phone that gives you above 6hrs sot under heavy usage is fair and my RN7 does that. Finally if you use your phone and the battery runs down abeg simply charge your phone afterall na you use am or you can get a good quick charge 3.0 power bank take follow join body.

Thanks for the heads up bro, if you noticed am not talking about my device but that of a friend, who is also a nairalander, agreed we can not overemphasize the merits of updates, but some people just want to hear people's experiences and thus my question.

I use a Mi 9t and the update before last was a battery Zapper but I was amongst the first to update and even with the new update, I believe am also in front line of those who updated.

Sometimes let's under the rationale behind a post before we let anger take the best of us.

luminous inverters have poor charging algorithm and non adjustable charge voltage settings,so batteries usually die within 3yrs.. unless you have solar, i would avoid luminous inverters for now. 60k is a gr8 price for it

The one he stated has 3 charging settings of low, middle and high. I can't tell for sure what the amperage is for any of the setting but I know they're changeable and different.
