Nteogwuija: Oh, but it carried it initially. Are u still on a 12v inverter or had to upgrade to 24v? I'm on a 1050va inverter and the rated power is 730w. It powered the chest freezer of 105w initially but later on started showing the short circuit error.
I tried it on a table top fridge of 55w and it's still showing the short circuit error. What inverter size do you thing I can upgrade to, to at least power the 55w fridge?
Thanks for the response, btw. Can you state Ur battery type and size. Also avail us with the state of charge of the battery when you try powering your devices. Cheers |

aieromon: Ok, sorry for the mix-up. The mini UPS came with a basic charging cord, same type used by rechargeable lamps. If the charging module inside is still functional then u'll have no issues with charging as the chemistry and charging behaviour for both pouch and 18650 cells are the same. |

aieromon: Hi,
I want to know if I can replace dead batteries (10000mah) inside a mini UPS with lithium batteries. Depending on the space of the UPS, you can use cylindrical cells as replacement for the above pouch cells. The power density defers as the pouch cells are more power dense and lighter in weight but all else remains the same, assuming my brain serves me right . You should be fine with good 18650 cells, just solder terminals same polarity as the original and u're good to go... |

dracopoetic: Good morning all.
My umidigi a11 has been having issues with charging. Ever since the stock charger got spoilt, I've tried to no avail to get a charger that can charge it at a reasonably normal rate but all the chargers I get charge it at a rate of 2% in 10 minutes which is extremely slow. My phone has not fulled in a long time. Recently,y friend got the same A11 and when I used his charger to charge my phone, my phone charged very fast again (8% in 10 minutes)
Is there anyone else with this problem even if it isn't A11?
Where can I get stock Umidigi A11 charger? I'm tired of wasting money on chargers that are virtually useless
Is the problem that of the charging port, charging board or just me not using the follow-come Umidigi stock charger?
Please help me as this is the first time I'm experiencing issues with my phone
Thanks Check the power rating of your stock charger and buy one with the same charge profile. Secondly, when buying a charger, get a good branded oem and not the cheap ones we all normally get. 95% of the time I don't use the chargers that comes in my phone box as the OEM ones I use work just fine. Contact jboixxx for quality chargers and cables. He's my one stop shop for accessories. Cheers |

gadgetplanetng: Interesting. Please what type? Do you know the bms type in it? I actually went through the process you described but I'd try it again when next I'm at the location. It's a 24v DIY pack I built some years ago with a 250a Daly BMS. As per the process, like I earlier said; if u miss a step or in too much of a hurry, everything will reset. Take Ur time and try it again. Also Valto made a valid point, you can also increase the charging amps of the BMS in the battery pack, cos if the BMS disconnects whilst battery is charging, it definitely will reset all parameters. Hope this helps.. |

dejidotun2000: I get what you mean about the calibration but that isn't what is at play here. The CC maintains the set 27.6V for some time but "losses" the setting later and begins to output over 30V. It wasn't like that initially and when I noticed it, I also thought it might be due to voltage drop along the battery cable but after several checks and attempts to calibrate what I realised was that the CC was actually "forgetting" the set voltage. Feat didn't allow me to use the CC since then. To process to save settings on the powmr CC is first to cut off power from the panels first through Ur isolation switch, then you make the changes to the settings, after which to save the settings, you must now disconnect power from the battery to the CC, so the CC goes off completely. Allow it to be off for 10secs, then switch on power from the battery first and next switch on power from your panels. Be mindful that if you miss any of the steps, you will lose your settings and the CC will return to the default lead acid battery profile. NB: If you followed this process and you still lose your settings memory, then you might have a faulty device. Cheers.... |

gadgetplanetng: Hmmmmnnn that means it's with the CC and Lithium. There's a calibration differential that has to be accounted for. |
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by saint2ace(m): 6:07pm On Oct 18, 2023 |
dejidotun2000: I have a powmr 60A that behaves the same way.I set lithium charge profile and set both bulk and float charging to 27.6V but I see the CC putting out 30V. There's a 0.4v - 0.5v difference between true voltage and the displayed voltage. So you need to do a -0.4 to -0.5v adjustment to calibrate the CC. Try it and give us feedback. |

Let me state that I didn't get mine from shopnig24, but from an Airtel dealership at Apapa Lagos. So am guessing it's a general problem with Airtel on those particular lines that came with the free router and speed based unlimited data plans. |
