Big man, big wahala. We saw it coming with the approval of NCC giving a go ahead for telcos to Increase tariffs. However, for what it's worth and with the exchange rate against the dollar, I don't think it's that bad, na devaluation of the naira dey do us.
Meanwhile, we're waiting for MTN, Airtel, Glo etc to notify us of their increase, it's been 16yrs without a major shakeup.

Bros the matter pass malaria and typhoid oh. I still hail his resilience for bouncing back as soon as he did, most people would have been in depression by now and would have found it difficult to continue, but he faced all odds and is back to his hustle. He's really a great man.

I don't really want to spoil this but I had to let this off my chest once and for all. When I was ready for my installation, his lack of response to my 'stupid questions', even after reading it, made me go elsewhere.

I remember this period of "no response". A lot of us complained but later when he returned and told us his story, we all understood, as he went through hell and back for an extended period, being hospitalised and going through a major life changing surgery.
I like the fact that you aired Ur grievances and moved on. I know subsequent transactions will be smooth and satisfactory.

Nice, log into google playstore and choose the apps of choice and install or you use the preinstalled apps if they serve your purpose. Enjoy

Can you share what shows on the screen? A friend had issues too and a factory reset solved it, but you will have to use the reset button at the back of the device and you will also need a mouse connected for navigation.

Remove the power cable, then insert a toothpick in the pinhole labelled reset, while holding it down, insert the power cable, hold for 5secs then release the reset button, using the mouse attached, navigate to the factory data reset option, click it and allow device to booth up complete, then reinstall all apps and settings.

When you say reload, what exactly do you mean? If you're having issues you can simply factory reset it to default and start all over again.

That's a BTS 500w hybrid inverter, was wonderful little device unfortunately they stopped production, importation and sales almost 3years ago, even parts for repairs are no longer available.

That statement is subject to location as it is with other networks, if the network is okay in your vicinity the speed will surely be okay for your use, one of my devices is at a location with no 5G and it works well, the second is in a location where i get 1-2 bars of 5G and it works super okay. So i would advise you check before you buy and not limit yourself to comments by other people.

Took me a while back then, but i figured it out. The Nokia receiver unit's bluetooth needs to be turned on, as the Nokia Wireless app connects to it via bluetooth, and by default, the receiver unit's bluetooth is off.

So, while connected to the Nokia router, go to 192.168.1.1 and log into the interface, then go to the General tab and turn on the bluetooth.

By the way, the password of the interface can be found on the sticker in the pack inside the receiver unit carton.

Thanks boss for the detailed response, you just outlined my exact experience too. I went to the friend's place and together we were able to decipher it just as you have said. The router and receiver are working okay and network reception has greatly increased, i also noticed that the router has a self-heal function and can restart itself after network fluctuations unlike the X25PRO that would require a manual reboot to get back on track.
I'm really tempted to get the nokia router and swap out my X25PRO, but waiting for my friend's review after a month.

I heard the rubbish routers needs electricity/charges. t would ne hard finding someone who use it to swap SIM card (where I live).

As per electricity needs yes it's actually true for the ODU devices but that too can be tweaked, my friend attached a router powerbank to the beacon 2 wifi distributor and attached the fastmile receiver to a small UPS, energy consumption is very low, so the setup takes him for hours on a full charge. For swapping sims, you only need a star screwdriver to open the compartment and switch ur sims, if you do the swapping fairly regularly then you can leave the cover off, the sim holder slide in and out quite easily.
The other routers have follow come battery banks and sims can be swapped easily. Cheers
