Na wa for Nigerian businesses oh, the same @repairpalng that can't take simple calls or respond to whatsapp massages from clients and potential clients has now turned to a keypad warrior, responding word for word and even posting adverts inbetween and yet "you should know the volume of work" he's faced with. I just dey laugh sha, I do hope we get it right one day as a nation, me inclusive. Superior, prompt and effective customer service is not a favour, it is the CUSTOMER'S RIGHT. Let's not get it twisted. My 2 kobo ![]() |
enigma0:A3S for better battery backup then A3X for better performance. The choice is urs to make ![]() |
I will make a general answer since I cannot quote everyone, one by one. Screen touch issues i.e ghost touches, mistouches and flickering touches as described by those here can be attributed to a few facts and it combines with our usage on most umidigi devices. These errors I have discovered spans most legacy devices especially the midrange versions and that's that precipitation and moisture easily sips into the screen compartment of the phone, so sweat and water splashes easily gets in cos the glue used in holding the screen in place isn't well put together. My Umidigi one still works well but unfortunately it screen literally fell off, and I think it's based on the fact that I swear alot, so the sweat Linda weakened the glue and one day the screen just fell out. Had to take it to a tech guy to glue it back together. And since then it's been a sturdy device no worries whatsoever. So my advice is watch the way u handle Ur device around moisture, especially when u're sweating and when u have water around Ur device. Just my 2kobo...... Cheers all |
I just can't stop laughing, all the suggestions of chargers and no one knows his device. Let me ask a question will an MTK pump express charger, initiate the Quick Charge protocol on Snapdragon? (QC 2.0, 3.0 or 4.0) or the fast charge protocol of an IOS device? Before making prescription for an ailment please find out what the illness is through adequate diagnosis. My 2kobo. OP the choice is urs ![]() |
elantraceey:On this matter, ignorance is bliss. No bother my sister, it's just an in-house joke ![]() |
I'm intentionally not quoting anyone cos it seems as if this is a general problem. You can't come to a platform and give us the ills u experienced with Ur device without telling us how h used the device. Someone complaining of ghost touch after 10months without a history of use or issues bothering on screen and non responsiveness without a clear history of use is not fair. I'm not saying the brand is without flaws, hey flaws plenty, this can happen to anyone and any brand at anytime. Just give a brief history for better diagnosis, even a doctor cannot give the right prescription without adequate information on the history of the ailment. Just my 2kobo.... Cheers |
GreaterFuture1:What's Ur phone model, that will give an idea of the fast charge protocol and thus an effective suggestion.as to the charger that would work best for the device. Cheers |
Lexusgs430:Egbon u're a wicked sombori |
khalidx:Even in their small capacity, umidigi is delivering but seems they've forgotten lagacy devices. No update for my Umidigi one ![]() |
khalidx:Umiwonder ![]() |
mctfopt:My brother the thing weak me oh. Went through his profile and it has been from one blog site to another. Oh well time will tell |
Lexusgs430:Egbon, umiwonder can make umimilk to overflow. Someone shout halleluyah |
monetizd:When did spectranet change their website from www.spectranet.com.ng I smell a rat, be careful guys |
All this shout about android 10, make una calm down. Part of the reason umidigi is affordable is that they don't do updates to a higher android version. You'll get security patches and incremental update fixes but no version update, it's been discussed here severally. If you want android 10, u'll have to buy a model with android 10 out of the box, the a3 vs a3s and the a3 pro vs a3x comes to mind. Then as someone rightly said, u could also try the custom ROM route. But hey anything can happen, umidigi might just surprise us with an umiwonder..... Fingers crossed ![]() |
genius43:People are busy today, finally work starts. So no more keyboard warriors ![]() |
nongo123:Are u still using Ur A3? |
Lexusgs430:My feelings exactly, if he has done a reset and it's still the same then am confused esp taking into fact that it's selective cos the upper part looks okay. Just a few apps have the problem. Let's observe while we research for a solution |
Exumal:Give us a description of the problem, so people can know what to advise |
Exumal:What exactly is the problem. Cos all I can see is u trying to subscribe to MTN data |
jboixxx:Exactly, I have a 2TB HDD (SP Armor) I've been using since 2012 and it's still functional. It has seen 4 laptops come and go and it's still doing okay. |
WAPKOSHCOMNG:Find attached a screenshot and take note of the time and it's Jumia express
|
WAPKOSHCOMNG:Why not get from Jumia @29.990. just saying .... |
gidieberry:Woow nice, any idea when they'll land? Cos I kindda need this ASAP |
Hello guys, top of the day to you all. Please who stocks iPhone lighting cable and what's the price ranges and makes of the cables. Thanks in anticipation. CC: gidieberry Jboixxx Optimised |
lastchild:Go to an Airtel shop and tell them u want to port Ur number, they'll give u a form to fill and u'll be asked to provide a valid ID card, after which Ur number will be registered and biometrics taken. A new SIM will be issued and will be functional within 48hrs. So u'll still have Ur MTN number but under Airtel network and u can get all Ur bonuses without having to keep switching numbers. Cheers |
lastchild:Why not simply port Ur line from MTN to Airtel, that way u retain Ur number and still get the Airtel services. Case closed |
kene05:The update is okay, the battery drain issue has been sorted, and it's a smoother experience. Try downloading the full update package and manually update. The force restart your phone severally times for it to settle in. I now get an SOT of btw 10-12hrs depending on usage and screen brightness but averagely 10hrs |
