A greater proportion of women wants to marry
great men, celebrities, authorities, maybe
because
of money, but truth is, Can you pay the price in
marriage?
I have come to understanding that so many great
people hardly have time for their family, can you
cope?
A lot of ladies will love to have been the wife to
a
great man like Bishop Oyedepo, But do you know
he hardly sleeps? He hardly has time for his
wife?
But there's excess of money...
What of his attention?
A lot of ladies get to discover that money isn't
everything, when it's already late.
A man who is globally relevant might not give
you all the attention you need, what will keep you
in those times is the love and passion you have
for his vision and mandate and that brings me to
this point: Marry a man whose vision you can
carry.
Getting married to very great people isn't beans.
Ask their wives. Being a people's person isn't
easy. Many celebrities don't spend up to three
months in a year with their families.
Can you cope that time because money can't
solve that one?
Will you be able to cope when he'll have to be
away for eight months and as he's getting back,
he has another trip for a year, and all that kind
of
serial engagements?
Even Van Vicker, Famous actor confessed he
barely has up to two months with his wife in a
year.
Many girls would wish to have married Van, but
how many can understand when he'll have to
stay away for long because of his dreams and
purpose?
Personally, I have a mandate to reach out to 2
billion people before i die, to impact and
influence
a minimum of that amount before I breath my
last
breath. God keeps using people to warn me that
I
have to be careful when it comes to choosing a
life partner. Because a mistake there will ruin my
purpose.
A man might be vision minded, passionate,
ambitious, and rich and handsome and you wish
to marry him but truth is, You can't bear the
burden of his mandate. You can't endure it.
Do you know what the wives of pastors endure?
Do you know what the wives of great icons
endure?
It's not by fantasizing about love from morning
till night. If you're thinking of marrying a great
man, be ready to pay a great task in marriage.

It was because she was strong enough to bear
the burden of her husband's purpose.
It doesn't end at marrying a man with a vision.
You must understand that as time goes, that

issues with marriage.
I'm not saying celebrities shouldn't have time for
their family in the name of their vision but
believe
me no matter how much they spare, it can't be
much like an average man.

time to be with my wife and family but I doubt
it'll be every now and then. I wish it would be
but
with my life's purpose, It might be tough.

Money sure helps but a lot women that married
rich and great men wants to divorce because
they
can't cope with the burden of his purpose.

A dog was found raped, murdered and hanged from a tree after a sick attack.

The animal had been ‘severely sexually assaulted’ and suffocated before it was left in the branches where a mountain biker found it last Monday in Washington state, USA.

Now a $5,000 reward has been offered for anyone with information about who did this.

In an appeal, animal protection organisation the Humane Society of the United States said: ‘The perpetrators asphyxiated the dog by hanging her from a branch with her feet barely touching the ground.

‘Evidence suggested she was severely sexually assaulted while being restrained.’

They put up the reward, which is twice as large as they would normally offer thanks to a donation from a board member, saying the link between animal and human cruelty is well documented.

Dan Paul, Washington state director for The HSUS said: ‘This is a truly horrific situation in all aspects. To think about the suffering this dog experienced in her final moments, as well as knowing there’s an individual or individuals in our state who would perpetrate this type of abuse, is sickening.

‘We are hopeful this reward will bring someone forward with information about this despicable crime.’

The Code of Conduct Tribunal has dismissed the motion by the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, seeking to quash the 13 counts of false and anticipatory assets declaration preferred against him.
The Danladi Umar-led tribunal resolved all the issues raised ‎by the Senate President against him and affirmed that it had jurisdiction to hear the case.
Umar who read the ruling directed that the prosecution to open its case, ruling that contrary to Saraki’s contention, the Attorney-General of the Federa‎tion was competent to institute charges before the CCT.
The tribunal also ruled that Saraki’s contention that he was being prosecuted for offences allegedly committed about 13 years ago was out of place.
It also held that the Saraki’s reliance on its (CCT’s) earlier ruling dismissing the charges against a former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, was wrong.
Umar held that the t‎ribunal had since realised that the ruling discharging Tinubu was made in error.
While the prosecuting counsel, Mr. Rotimi Jacobs (SAN), said he already had his first witness in court, the lead defence counsel, Mr. Kanu Agabi (SAN), asked for an adjournment to prepare for trial.
The tribunal chairman agreed with the defence counsel, insisting that criminal cases must not be rushed.
He adjourned the trial till May 5

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 33-year-old security man, Freedom Barryneh, for allegedly raping his neigbour’s daughter, aged eight.

The incident reportedly happened on Akali Street, in the Ajegunle area of Lagos State after the victim, Sandra (pseudonym), approached the suspect and requested N10 from him to buy biscuit.

PUNCH Metro learnt that after giving her the money, Barryneh, who was watching a pornographic film when the minor entered his apartment, persuaded her to stay with him.

While the movie was on, he allegedly told Sandra to UnCloth but she declined, saying her mother would beat her for doing so.

The suspect, however, allegedly resorted to force and allegedly dragged her into bed and raped her.

Our correspondent gathered that Sandra, who was warned by the suspected rapist not to disclose the act to anybody, eventually opened up to her mother when she began to feel pains in her private parts.

The victim said, “I asked Mr. Freedom (Barryneh) to give me N10 to buy biscuit and he did. He took me inside his room. He was watching one video that was showing naked men and women. He asked me to remove my clothes, but I said my mother would beat me. He pushed me and put me on his bed. He removed my clothes and put his thing inside my private parts. I was afraid of telling my mother.”

Her mother, identified only as Ellen, reported the incident at the Ajegunle Police Division which led to the suspect’s arrest on March 3.

PUNCH Metro saw that the results of medical tests conducted on the girl at the Ajeromi General Hospital, Lagos, stated, “Hymen broken with bruises around the infroitus.”

The result, which was signed by one Dr I.A. Dauda, also stated that she suffered from “whitish foul smelling vaginal discharge.”

Barryneh, who hails from Rivers State, admitted giving the girl N10 to buy biscuit, but denied raping her. He added that the allegation was an attempt to blackmail him.

He said, “I work with a private security outfit. She and her friends were playing when she came to me that she needed N10 to buy biscuit. She stood somewhere in my room waiting for the money. I was watching a love movie titled, ‘Naked Weapon’. It involved sex. I was surprised when her mother reported at the station that I raped her daughter. I never had sex with the girl. I only gave her the money.”

A police prosecutor, Woman Sergeant Francisca Okere, brought Barryneh before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court on two counts of rape.

Okere told the court that the offence contravened sections 137 and 259 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

The charges read in part, “That you, Freedom Barryneh, sometime in August 2015, at about 14.30 hours on Akali Street, Ajegunle, Apapa, Lagos, in the Apapa Magisterial District, did penetrate sexually with your penis the privare parts of an eight-year-old girl, thereby committing an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 259 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2011.”

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge before the presiding magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Adegite, who admitted him to bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.

While adjourning for March 24, 2016, Adegite added that the sureties must be gainfully employed and must present to the court evidence of tax payments.

Queens College: FG inaugurates panel to probe alleged sexual assault.

The Federal Government has set up a panel to investigate the allegations that a Junior Secondary School II female student of Queens College, Yaba, Lagos was sexually assaulted by a male teacher.

The government in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja by the Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations, in the Federal Ministry of Education, Mr. Ben Goong, said the investigative panel had two weeks within which to submit its report.

The statement, however, did not disclose the identity of the members of the panel.

A parent, Chinenye Okoye, had on Saturday accused a Biology teacher living on the school premises, Mr. Olaseni Oshifala, of sexually assaulting her daughter.

In setting up the panel, the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Anthony Anwukah, urged its members “to do a thorough investigation to unravel the truth behind the allegations.”

The panel was also mandated to “make recommendations to government on how to deal with the situation based on the principles of truth, justice and fairness to all parties.”

The statement advised parents, guardians, students and staff of Queens College who may have credible information on this matter to avail same to the committee through the telephone number: 07034613096 and email: saniabdu59@yahoo.com.

Anwukah assured the general public, particularly parents and guardians whose children are in any of the Unity Schools and other Federal Government Colleges that their children are in safe hands.

According to him, government will continue to do everything possible within the ambit of the law to protect their wards in all government schools across the country, including Queens College, Yaba in Lagos.

The Minister called on all parents to remain calm and avoid taking rash decisions that may affect their wards adversely.

The‎ Parent-Teacher Association of the school had on Monday, set up a panel to also investigate the alleged sexual harassment levelled against the teacher.

The Chairman of the PTA, Beatrice Akhetuanen, had told a news conference that the panel would be working with the Police Station in Sabo, Yaba to investigate the teacher accused of the act.
