I met a lady in her late twenties on Facebook around July 2015. We started chatting and calling until January 2016 when she agreed to pay me a visit because we reside in different states. Everything was moving smoothly until the thought of marriage started flooding her mind. I told her that I would have loved to marry her but I am not financially stable yet, she said no problem that she will manage with me. She persuaded me to meet with her parents which I did around February 2017. After the first meeting with the parents she started worrying me again that I should come for introduction and collection of marriage list. I told her I am not yet ready but she wouldn't let me rest, at last I agreed and fixed a date for the introduction. I bought all the drinks they requested and also paid for the list. By then she started visiting me, she will visit and never want to go back unless I ask her to go on the ground that we are not fully married. Around March 2017 she said she will like us to spend Easter holiday together so that I will use the opportunity to introduce her to my parents I said ok. We went and my people accepted her. Then we travelled back to our various base. Around June 2017 she started again, asking me to fix date for the wedding which I objected that I can't just fix date without adequate financial preparation. It's not as if she is going to support me financially, I am the one footing all the bill because she's not working. This is where the problem started, she gave me ultimatum to fix a date for wedding or she will park her things and start leaving with me prior to when I am ready to do the wedding. I refused outrightly that she must remain in his parents house. Without my notice she parked her things and came to my base, after spending like 1 month I asked her to go back to her base that we can't continue staying together when we're not fully married. She refused but later left with annoyance. When she left, different thoughts started flooding my mind. I never wanted to marry a full time house wife. I've jokingly told her to get a job but she refused with the excuse that she prefer business but there is no capital to establish any for her. I now told her instead of keeping her waiting that if sees someone else that is interested that she should go ahead but she said no. That she must wait for me even if it is in the next 5yrs that I must Marry her. She threatened over her dead body will she Marry another man. What do I do to get this lady off my neck.
hmmmm if at all this story is true....bro welcome to wonderland, you are dating a super glue, goodluck bro.

PoliticsRe: Radio Biafra Sacks Nnamdi Kanu As IPOB Leader by Saintinoo(m): 7:03pm On Nov 13, 2017
[quote author=Penalty82 post=62331536]Security agencies were in a frenzy of activities in Abuja from early Sunday when Radio Biafra, the controversial mouthpiece of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) returned to the airwaves with a 6.am to 7.am broadcast announcing the shocking sack of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as IPOB leader.

That announcement sacking Kanu was exactly what kept the security agencies worried, because it could mean that another arm of IPOB may have mutated just as IPOB mutated from Raph Uwazuruike’s Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).

A top national security source told THEWILL thus: “All had been quiet on the IPOB front recently. The organization has been receding from the public consciousness as many Igbo people began to openly talk against the separation and disunity agenda of IPOB. The Federal Government has been reaching out to the South-East and their State Governors have taken a hard stand against IPOB accusing the organization of pursuing anti-Igbo interests; now comes this totally new and unexpected development”.

At the height of the IPOB controversy the national unity was greatly tasked when Northern youths issued Igbo people resident in the North a quit notice.

The radio’s programme started with the lady announcer who gave her name as Ifeoma Okorafor, stating that the radio was back on air and IPOB was restructuring. She then announced that “Mazi Nnamdi Nwanekaenyi Kanu, the former Director of Radio Biafra is hereby dismissed and removed as Director of Radio Biafra following extensive and intensive consultations”. She named “Mazi Ezenwachukwu Sampson Okwudili as Kanu’s replacement.”

Kanu has not been seen publicly since he fled Abia State after the military raided his family compound some months back.

The reasons the Radio Biafra announcer gave for Kanu’s removal included:

(A) Personalization of the Biafran struggle and derailing from the core objectives of IPOB as a grassroots movement.

(B) Kanu’s actions and his decisions to incite members of IPOB towards violence leading to the death of many innocent young people in Onitsha, Aba and Umuahia is totally unacceptable and grossly irresponsible.

(C) Kanu privately collected £14m and another $22m to purchase landed properties abroad in his name and that of his father Igwe Israel Kanu in a clear case of monkey dey work baboon dey chop.

(D) Kanu turned our collective struggle into a money-making enterprise for himself and his father. Thus the monies contributed by enterprising and hard-working Igbo youths across the world are being collected and converted by one man and his father while pretending to be sacrificing for the cause.

(E) Upon his release from detention in April 2017, one expected Kanu to drum up support for the release of his colleagues and co-detainees such as Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi. These are our brothers who were arrested at the same time with him and they should not be forgotten. We hereby demand their release. Kanu, since his release, has never spoken about them or appealed for the release of these our freedom fighters. Instead, he has been going about collecting chieftaincy titles and having a messianic swagger that even allowed full-blooded Igbomen to kneel down and kiss his feet.

(F) Kanu threw away the original meaning of our collective struggle for personal gain and vain glorification. IPOB believes in democracy as a solid base of any modern state, the rule of law, and will always reject violence in all its ramifications.

The security agencies do not as yet know what to make of this new development in IPOB.

The sack of Mazi Kanu is only the latest change in the checkered history of Radio Biafra, which began as the mouthpiece of MASSOB. It later announced the sacking of MASSOB founder, Uwazuruike as its Director and MASSOB leader and replaced him with Uchenna Madu “in the task of chasing down and overcoming the enemies of Biafra” according to a statement signed by Uche Mefore as the radio’s Deputy Director.

Nnamdi Kanu himself would also distance himself and his deputy, Uche Mefor, when Radio Biafra began to broadcast from the US, after Nigeria jammed its signals from Britain.

Now, those behind this latest incarnation of Radio Biafra would obviously not have sought Kanu’s permission; it actually sacked him in its first broadcast. But the security agencies are not rejoicing because, as a source put it “the saying that the devil you know is better than the angel you do not know is particularly true in security circles. See it this way; Kanu had issued an order that the people of Anambra state should boycott the gubernatorial elections and people told him he was talking nonsense. That was the end of his moral authority. Now we have to return to the drawing board to learn about those behind this latest development. It’s frustrating.”

hhahaha Nigeria govt should try harder next time.
PoliticsRe: "Ikoyi Whistle-blower Is Mad" - EFCC Says, Takes Him To Psychiatric Hospital by Saintinoo(m): 1:45pm On Nov 12, 2017

He has not been paid his N850m reward —Lawyer

JUST like the drama and surprises that trailed the discovery of $43.5 million, £27,800 and N23.2 million at No. 16 Osborne Road, in Lagos, the matter has taken another dramatic dimension with the whistle-blower dismissing the claims by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, that he had gone mad

He, however, said he was only disturbed by the failure of the anti-graft agency to pay him the reward for exposing the loot in accordance with the whistle-blowing policy of the Federal Government.

Saturday Vanguard recalls that the government had in 2016 approved a policy on whistle-blowing that aimed at encouraging Nigerians to report financial crimes.

The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, who announced the policy, said anyone, who provided information leading to the recovery of fund would be entitled to not more than five per cent of the recovered sum.

Shouting that he needed his money

Magun had at the 7th session of the Conference of State Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, said the whistle-blower had become a millionaire.

While puncturing the claims that the whistle-blower had become a millionaire, Galadima said his client had been subjected to unfair treatment despite heeding the call to expose looters.

He said the inability of the commission to pay his client the reward after the forfeiture of the money made him to start shouting that he needed his money at the Department of State Security Service, DSS, apartment where he was kept.

They said he is mad

His words: “The day we went to the office of the then Acting President, they gave him a number that he could reach at any time. So he has been communicating with the Vice- President. Following the threats, they detailed some SSS to be working around him. “Because the guy had always been looking forward to seeing this money and it wasn’t forthcoming, he started shouting. When he started shouting, they said he was mad, that he is having a mental problem.

“The SSS people called me and said I should come and carry my luggage. They brought him to the EFCC and abandoned him there. The EFCC people called me that I should come and carry my client.

‘’On getting to the commission’s office, I was informed of my client’s mental illness and plans to take him to the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital in Yaba.

.

“They injected him and said they have to monitor him for a month. They monitored him for a month. The day they were going to release him, the EFCC called me again to come and carry my “critical asset.

‘’ This was a boy I never knew from Adam. I said ok, I went to the EFCC, the guy said he was ok, there was no problem anymore. They handed him over to me three weeks ago. I pay money into his account on a weekly basis for his upkeep.’’

A letter to the President Galadima further disclosed that he had written a letter to the President demanding that the boy be paid his money.

The letter which was said to have been written on October 12, 2017, partly reads: ‘’While you were away receiving treatment I wrote twice to the Acting President through the office of the Acting Chairman of the EFCC on 7th June 2017 and 24th July 2017 respectively.

Because the money discovered was about N17 billion and not N13 billion that is being declared. It was calculated as at the time the money was recovered.” He, however, dismissed reports that his client would receive N350 million reward, saying that the actual figure was N850 million.

An effort by Saturday Vanguard to get the reaction of the Spokesperson of the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwajuren was not fruitful as he did not pick his calls.

However, Uwujaren, in a statement yesterday said Magu never said the whistleblower had been paid his compensation.

CrimeRe: Ganja Havens: Six Nigerian States With High Concentration Of Cannabis Plantation by Saintinoo(m): 6:41pm On Nov 09, 2017
freakyamanda:
It is known by several names, including marijuana, ganja, Indian hemp, and weed. In Nigeria, it is called Igbo, gbana, kaya, and wee wee in the local parlance. Long regarded for its medical benefits, Cannabis has been abused and used for recreation around the world for a long time. Nigeria has witnessed its own explosion of cannabis abuse in recent times, with young people smoking its green leaves to get high or as the Americans call it; stoned!

In Nigeria, the use of Cannabis is illegal. However, despite its medical and cosmetological benefits, Cannabis remains a menace in the country due to its abundance and tendency to get its users high and addicted. According to the Encyclopedia Wikipedia, Nigeria is the eight largest consumer of Cannabis. The plant is widely grown in the following states:

Ekiti
Widely known as the largest producer of weed in Nigeria prior to 2015, the National Drug Law Enforce Agency (NDLEA) says its sustained crackdown has significantly reduced the quantity of cannabis produced in the state. Nevertheless, 246 tonnes of cannabis were discovered and destroyed in Ekiti in August, 2017

Ondo
The sunshine state is arguably the largest producer of weed in the country. The Benin Ore road has a large concentration of hemp farms, with many bursts by the NDLEA recorded there. On September 25, 2017, media sources reported that the Nigerian army had intercepted and arrested 2 men who were moving cannabis from Ondo state to Lagos at the Owena checkpoint. On October 23, a media report by the Daily Times indicated that the passion for Cannabis farming in the state was leading to deforestation as weed plantation covered over 5,000 hectares of arable land in Ala forest, Akure North Local government. With the discovery of what is arguably the largest cannabis plantation in the world, Ondo State takes over from Ekiti as the largest producer.

Oyo
This Southwestern state is also one of the largest producers of weed. As the NDLEA ramps up its fight against marijuana abuse, Oyo has suddenly fallen under its searchlight. In February 2017, channels TV reported that the NDLEA confiscated over 1,000 kilograms of fresh cannabis seed meant for 2017 planting season in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, while conducting a stop and search. On June 16, 2017, men of the NDLEA discovered 24 hectares of cannabis plantation found at the Gambari forest reserve in Ibadan.

Edo
Like its neighbour to the west, Edo state has a large concentration of cannabis farms. Many of these are located around the border along the Ore-Benin road. In April 2017, the Punch reported that 60 males and 13 females had been apprehended in Edo State with 10,094.75kgs of cannabis between January and March 2016. In August 2017, the NDLEA destroyed over 37 hectares of cannabis plantation worth about 1.7billion naira in Owan East, Owan West, Uhunmwonde and Ovia North-East Local Government areas of the state.

Osun
From discussions among youths on online forums and in hang outs, it is easy to conclude that Osun State produces the highest quality of weed. This is because of the frequent reference to the effect of the so-called ‘Oshogbo weed’, made popular by memes on forums such as Nairaland and Nigeria Adult forum. Like its mother state, Osun produces a great deal of cannabis as reports have shown. As the NDLEA steps up its fight against Cannabis farming, the agency discovered and destroyed 16 hectares of cannabis farm in the state on Oct 4, 2017.

Delta State
Like its neighbour, Edo, Delta State produces a large amount of cannabis. Although, still largely hidden from the authorities, the thriving marijuana sales market in Delta state is one of the largest in the country and there are areas in the state known specifically for the cultivation of the crop. Although, reports of drug bursts are not rampant like in Ondo and Ekiti states, there have been a couple of cases in the last 3 years. In June 2016, the NDLEA destroyed over 100 hectares of cannabis farm in Ndokwa west area of the state.

CrimeRe: Girl Shot By Soldier In Plateau Abandoned In Hospital Due To Lack Of Fund by Saintinoo(m): 3:32pm On Nov 08, 2017
JosWatchDog:
Simi Daniel, a 17 year old SS1 student in GSS Sopp, Riyom LGA of Plateau State needs help to survive.

Simi was shot in the thigh at point blank range by one of the soldiers manning the check point because she had refused his lustful advances.

On the 19th of October this year during a protest by people of the community against the soldiers, this particular soldier single out Simi and shot her in the leg, he wanted to finish her off with another shot but was stopped by another soldier who came along.

He proceeded by kicking her several times in the face and body.

Simi and another man Danjuma Kaze who was shot in the leg during the process with his son Irimiya Danjuma who was shot in the jaw were all taken to Plateau Hospital where they are currently on admission.

Simi is being taken care of by her grandmother who is too weak to cater for both of them at the moment.

(1) Her earlier scheduled surgery had been canceled due to lack of funds

(2) Her treatment has also been suspended because she couldn’t pay for blood given to her on arrival

(3) Simi Danjuma’s grandmother is the only person with her in the hospital.

The shooting if this girl, an unarmed civilian is in direct violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 which says women and girls MUST be protected in situations of conflict because they have been unduly targeted by those who should protect them and perpetrators of violence conflicts.

EducationRe: UNILORIN Inter-univeristy Transfer Scam by Saintinoo(m): 1:14pm On Nov 08, 2017
Gilbertase:
i quite disagree. Here's why.
1. He just finished his second semester exams so, a transcript wouldnt have been existent any earlier than now.
2. We weren't preparing for a transfer. Like i earlier stated, i just came upon the information, and i thot it was a desirable alternative.
3. The univeristy should have been transparent enought to have outlined all those ridiculous requirements, so that those who know they may not be able to meet up, can make the right decision.
4. Even under ideal circumstances, he has no power over when those documents can be ready, he cannot just waltz into a registrars office and demand for a recommendation letter, same for the dean and HOD. There are procedures to be followed and it takes time. I applied for my transcript when i wanted to do my masters and it took the school 3weeks to process and the courier service about a week to deliver.
5. Even if he had all the documents (which i maintain is almost impossible in this instance), imagine if i saw the link to the portal on friday the 3rd or saturday the 4th and decided to apply, which courier would get those documents to UNILORIN on sunday the 5thhuh THE DATE AN APPLICATION PORTALL WILL CLOSE SHOULDNT BE THE SAME DATE SUCH DOCUMENTATION WILL CLOSE. THINK ABOUT IT, WHAT IF WE APPLIED ON THE LAST DAY NOVEMBER 5, AFTERALL THE PORTAL WAS OPEN. SOME PPLE WOULD HAVE APPLIED ON THAT LAST DAY. getting those things is not the problem, getting them without any time allowance is!

I hope i have been able to shed more light on this. Requirements for any application should be spelt out from the get go, not after payments were made, then you're now asking for the beard of a one-year old, and the teeth of a snail.
now i get you well, maybe you should look for other alternative(school), but mind you, transfers in Nigeria universities are very difficult. Best of luck

I want to sound the alarm on a suspected scam being perpetuated by UNILORIN through their supposed INTER-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER Program.

The pathetic story starts with the sad fact that no thanks to this hopeless country that rubbishes excellence constantly, my ward didnt get admitted ito the MBBS program in my alma mater LASU even despite scoring 320 in JAMB, and 80% on the shitty point system. He got admitted to zoology in UNILAG last year, and we were hoping this year, he would ditch that crappy course and start his dream course.

Fast forward to about two weeks ago, the University of Ilorin opened a portal for the purpose of this inter-university transfer. I stumbled on the link to the portal here on nairaland on the 30th of October.
https://www.nairaland.com/4142983/unilorin-inter-university-transfer-form-2017. It was outlined that the application portal would be accepting applications and would be open till Nov 5. The outlined requirements were that:

* The applicant would be screened according to the prevailing admission requirements of the previous year. MY WARD HAD AGGREGATE OF 69% BASED ON THE POINT SYSTEM USED IN THE PREVIOUS YEAR.
* The applicant would have a minimum GPA of 3.00 in his current course at his current university. MY WARD HAS A 4.53GPA IN HIS CURRENT COURSE AT UNILAG
* Acceptance fee of 350k for succesful applicants

I figured with the requirements he should easily get into pharmacy. I considered it a good alternative and registered on the portal on Thursday, November 2, 2017. I paid 10250NGN required for the registration, and proceeded to fill in the application. The deadline for filling applications was stated as November 5, 2017, so imagine my surprise when i tried to print the screening slip and payment receipt only to discover that it was written on the slip that there are other documents required to be sent through courier to the university, documents which were not earlier stated, but which apparently must be submitted on or before the same November 5.

How is this possible please? My people can you beat that!!!!!

1. Official recommendation letter from the registrar, dean, and head of department of his current university.
2. Official transcript from current university
3. Scratch cards for O level result
4. Jamb result

I was bewildered because these requested documents are literally impossible to obtain at such short notice. Considering that the application portal was supposed to close on Sunday, November 5, i do not see how all these things can be expected to be sent to Unilorin on the same day as the application deadline.

It became clear then that they just used this plot to scam hundreds, maybe thousands that registered and paid 10250 each, and thereafter sent us all on a wild goose chase. UNILORIN ASKING FOR SUCH DOCUMENTS WITHIN SUCH A RIDICULOUSLY TIGHT TIMEFRAME, AND WITH NO FOREWARNING TO ENABLE A PROSPECT GUAGE HOW POSSIBLE IT IS TO MEET UP WITH THE CONDITIONS BEFORE COMMITING FUNDS, IS FRAUDULENT AND SUSPECT. I have sent multiple emails and havent received one reply to my enquiry.

PLEASE HELP GET THIS TO FRONTPAGE, many need to be aware, and we need to start making these bodies aware that they cant just trample on the sensibilities of people. LOOK AT THE SCANDAL WITH UNILAG, FRONTPAGE PLS! @mynd44 @lalasticlala @dominique @davide470
sorry if you take my words harsh, but i think the fault is partly from you, just like how a student should prepare his or her O level result before seeking admission is the same thing as preparing your transcript and deans report, you don't expect Unilorin to accept your transfer without due knowledge of your ward at his previous school, all i can say is that you ddidn't prepare well for the transfer, best of luck.

How I Save Money — I'm Broke [Screenshots]

I'm the kind of person who gives freely despite how small it is. God gave us life for free, so I love to reciprocate. I know the more a man gives, the more God will replenish his pocket.

I don't mind if you believe in God or not, I do. But that doesn't stop me from doing my crazy things.

Now, I discovered a trick to save money and this trick has made me become stingy and broke. Our business has been doing manageably fine by fetching some residual income for upkeep.

This is what I did. I own a GTB account which I love and also a UBA which I like. The GTB is on Mobile Banking, as the screenshot below depicts, but the UBA is not.

I used a scissors and cut my UBA MasterCard to avoid temptation because the account is a dummy account to hide money like Nigerian politicians, but the difference is, I didn't steal mine. It's from real hustle. EFCC can contact me to verify.

So, anything that goes inside this UBA account, never comes out until after 1 year or more, then it'll be out and be used for investment.

I receive with GTB and transfer to UBA without leaving the confines of my home.

Lesson/rant to my fellow youths.

Make genuine money online (because there is more money online than offline), then invest 90% of the money offline and reinvest 10% online.

This is better than fraud. When you make genuine money, you feel happy even if you're broke like me.

Below is the screenshot of my GTB, but I don't have access to the screenshot of my UBA. Even if I do, I won't post it, so I'm broke and I need you guys to send me 1k each.

Abeg, make una help me. Na only ₦300 dey my account. IamJ, please epp your fellow PH boy. Na beg I dey beg.

How many of you have read The Richest Man in Babylon? Or Think and Grow Rich?

Raise your hand let me see those who have read them.

Have you been practicing what you read? Or you're on Nairaland abusing innocent women and looking for trouble like IamJ?

What about How to Win Friends and Influence People? Or The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People?

What about The Naughty Billionaire? by Joe Clef.

Oh! We haven't launched the book yet. It will be launched when I become a billionaire like my mentors Gate, Zuckerberg, Steve, and Séun. #Wink.

It's not about reading books, but implementing what you've read despite how small. In fact, start small. Where will you be in 5 years to come? Start today to avert tomorrow's depression.

You can be broke like me and still be happy. Read books, but don't read too many books. Instead, take too many actions. One of your many actions will be the right action. Don't let failure stop you.

Haters will hate, but don't hate them back — use them for publicity and more money. When you arrive, don't forget your haters because they made you who you are. Remain blessed.

Nonetheless, I'm broke and I need money. Make una epp me o! Else I'll strip unclad and post a picture of my 2" díck on Nairaland.

Ladies, do you want me to post a picture of the weapon in-between my legs? Raise your hand joor. Don't be shy.

Should I post it in black & white or colored?

We'll be launching a brand new website soon, since majority said www.wetclef.com is difficult to use.

We'll be focusing on 3 niches:

1. Sport and betting
2. Dating tips for men
3. Music and musicianship

This new website will be made available soon. The moment it launches, it starts in full swing. We used www.wetclef.com as a learning tool. We pray God will be on our side because success is inevitable.

"The future is bright like a star — only desultory see cloud." Joe Clef, 2017.

The first two Airtel numbers to be posted here will get N500 Airtel recharge card each. Only Airtel — the best network.

Clef on!

Best regards,

Joe Clef (iLegend).
