moderatorr:
pinsure of tambuwal defeating tambuwal making tambuwal to give a tambuwalic slap or adonbelivit.
Although I know its all an APC grand plan to sell tambuwal to the people by using tambuwal as a scape goat.
There is no how tambuwal will contest in an election against tambuwal and loose to tambuwal to the extent of just 23 votes out of nearly 3500+
mbanu
I can swear on my new shoe that tambuwal was the sole candidate though tambuwal was contesting too.

PoliticsRe: How State Governors Fail To Save For The Raining Day by saintneo(m): 6:13pm On Dec 02, 2014
saintneo:
The Rivers Governor CRA declared war on the FG for saving for rainy days. I can remember vividly when CRA was undisputed chairman of the NGF - Nigerian Governors Forum, he protested against keeping the money in ECA - Excess Crude Account. GEJ and his team kept sharing the savings so as to pacify the governors. The governors were executing White-Elephant projects without proper financial planning. Let's be clear here both the FG and SGs were culpable in the mismanagement of the ECA.
saintneo:
Lowering the benchmark during the windfall implies that the government will based its budget on the accruals based on the benchmark and the excess will be saved in the ECA (excess crude account).

The governors were spending excessively, taking loans to do projects rather than focus on working within the budget. Most states, Enugu, Imo, Rivers to name a few did most of their projects using loans and with the downward plunge of the naira against the dollar, we are in for a hard time if this oil price keeps falling.

Nevertheless, there is always a lesson to be learnt; possibly technocrats will be giving the chance to manage our economy. A shift from jollyfication culture to a planning culture. Let's pray the boys in uniform allow this struggle to occur.
I mentioned this issue on another thread and some people were quick to call me a GEJ/PDP supporter.

Note in the quote above I mistakenly thought the SWF and ECA were one and the same.

World Beard Day 2014: The 10 absolute best things about having a beard

World Beard Day is all about beard
appreciation – honouring and celebrating
the bearded members of your friends and
family, paying homage to the great beards
that have come before, and of course
spending some quality time with your own
beard.
If you need reminding about what makes
having a beard so great, we’ve managed to
condense the long list of reasons into a top
10.

1. Warm in winter, cool in summer
Not only can your beard keep your face cosy
during the colder months, but by splashing
some water across your beard in the summer,
you can create a cooling layer around your
face that will keep you feeling fresh while the
clean-shaven folk around you wilt in the sun.

2. Manliness enhanced
https://i0.wp.com/api.metro.co.uk/gif-loader/index.php/media./media/VurdsIVjdm3ks/giphy.gif
When you grow a beard, you’ll find that you
instantly become better at things like wood
chopping, metalwork, being captain of a
seafaring vessel… in fact, you’ll pretty much
become a better all-round person.

...............................................................................................

6. Women want to have sex with you, like,
ALL the time
https://i2.wp.com/api.metro.co.uk/gif-loader/index.php/media./media/dg4ZgmnewZf2M/giphy.gif
When you have a beard, women will lust after
you in ways you can’t even imagine. Admittedly
this can be exhausting, and being a sex symbol
can make it hard to be taken seriously at times
– you have to be all like ‘excuse me, ma’am,
my eyes are up here…’

.............................................................................................

10. You’re really really ridiculously good-
looking
Having a beard means you can walk around
with an extra air of confidence, knowing that
you’re heaps better looking than everyone else.
And in the end, that’s what it’s all about, isn’t
it?

BusinessRe: Oil Price Falls Below Nigeria's new benchmark by saintneo(m):
franciskaine:
Let it fall even below $30, make our yeye politicians and unserious Nigerians get sense. The price of oil has been over $100 for years now, far above our budget benchmark yet no meaningful savings for the rainy days. Some unscrupulous elements will come here and start shouting GEJ till 2019.
But it was the Rivers Governor CRA that was accusing the Finance Minister NOI of witholding “their” money under the guise of illegal excess crude account.

Furthermore, during the presentation of the national budget the joint house of senators & reps rejected lowering of the benchmark so as to have more money allocated to their fake constituency projects.

NB I am non partisan.

See how @presh er below quickly politicized this issue. If you follow his trail of posts, you will see a string of illogical APC bashing so safe to say he is one of them.

@saintneo Unlike you, I am not a full time internet warrior so I do not have time to pick out the PDP and APC data centre workers. However, it is plain to see and I hope the mods can highlight this topic because many pple I know are losing confidence in NL.

Very soon, the only members will be political internet warriors bashing each other.
Here in Antananarivo we don't do internet warrior. We already know the e-goons thus we don't bother reading their contribution.
