Digital204: ... So a lot of factors are responsible for poverty....
But is it a crime to be poor?
... No, no, no.
... Some poor people have become rich, true.
... Some rich people have also become poor suddenly, yes, true.
... These have all happened, yes we've seen it happen.
.... Life is a mystery. Don't be too rigid in your opinions, things happen, life happens, nothing is 100% guaranteed.
... Life is a mystery.
... Do your best, hope for the best. Be positive. Don't give up. Thank you sincerely |

yemmit90: What I noticed about Nigerians is that, it is very easy for us to call poor people fools when we are comfortable.
A man with wisdom will know that not all poor people are lazy or daft, though i agree with the part that said you don't have business getting married or bear many children when you are poor.
Nigeria is one hell of a country, there were many rich people that are poor today, not that they don't know what they are doing or being reckless with their money, some just lose their fortunes to unforseen circumstances. I was wondering why nobody wants to reason this way. You may be wealthy today and circumstances and events happened and suddenly you find yourself in poverty. It happens. Perhaps people would ask " Didn't the person has savings?" There are times events would happen all your savings would go and you find yourself in poverty |

NNPCL or Marketers? The CBN!!! |
Politics › Re: Marketers Move To End NNPCL Petrol Import Monopoly by saintopus(m): 8:50am On Jun 14, 2023 |
Their worries is basically how to access FX, while NNPCL access FX from CBN at the government exchange rate, the marketers do so in the parallel market at a higher price.
This is why it's very important for the BAT government to hastily do something on the FX Market and put a single exchange rate |

LegendHero: Let me tell you what you don’t know, even if LP and PDP form a coalition, PDP will still produce the president and LP (Obi) will be the vice. That is the only arrangement that can bring success to them.
If that happens, it still dosen’t show that Igbo are strong in politics and strength. You can only show strength in politics if you play it at the highest level and win.
Igbos are scattered in the country but don’t still have the numerical power. You can only influence election in a place if you are the majority. It’s easy to block you from voting if the indigenes truly want to do that but no one can block you in your region because you have all freedom.
Let me tell you, if Igbos living across Nigeria had voted in the SE instead of outside the SE where they reside, Obi would have gotten more vote. Think like a politician abeg. The Yorubas and the Hausas are also heavy travellers these days. No one ethnic groups are concentrated within their region. Haven said that, I would say the Nzogbu Nzogbu politics of the Igbos contributed to the last election downfall. But the igbos are very interesting people. If they love you, they love you. No pretence!!! You can please them quite quickly. All you need do towards the next election is release Nnamdi KANU, you will see the trend change. |

The role of the Traditional Institution is one very key area that requires a complete reform to ensure security. Until there is security the much needed progress would be an illusion. In the Nigeria Constitution, there were no real responsibilities assigned to the Traditional Rulers. This is the time to reform it. The incoming National Assembly has this responsibility |

OkCornel: BAT making sensible moves so far…
Observing keenly
As long as Nigeria progresses, I really don’t care who’s at Aso Rock.
Let’s think critically and leave emotions to the side.
Heck, I campaigned against BAT, but I’m seeing some positive signs in these early days. I hope he doesn’t disappoint like his predecessor. Many good hardworking Nigerians reason like you. We don't really care who is ASO Rock, far from it. All we need is getting the job done. And for me it's not rocket science. Get the right person at the right place, go ahead and sleep if you like. Nigeria to me is not that difficult to govern. Just do what is right. Ensure good hospitals, roads, electricity, employment. These are things that with the right kind of people that can drive the process, then we are good to go Next important area is the FX Market then liberalization of the railway allow private individual to construct and run railways. |
