Hello all, This might be as an advice to some of us who are new or who intends going into importation business. If your seller sends you a picture(s) for your item, please don't be careless with it, infact insist on him/her sending the pictures for reference sake. My case with TSO would have been a catastrophe if I had deleted the picture or I never asked that she sends to me as it will be very difficult to believe, they were even asking fro receipts, I learnt now that next time, I have to ask for receipt or PI. We get wiser each day, even if the goods have been supplied, please still keep them for reference sake. I hope God sees me through this. |
Bookiemart01:It takes God's intervention to even tell me that the goods are missing, He has to direct me to his Opr. Manager to tell him. I know in logistics anything happen, that is why I am been patient enough, God knows that I am patient, he too will bear the witness that I have been cool with him, just cos of this, yours truly has lost almost 105k, I just went to refund 25k this morning which I just take it as calm. Ymodulus has taught me that in business, except anything. So oga Nelson, biko, fast track our agreement o.. When I am through with all these, I will come back and give my own assessment of Nisibor, Some have called him a scammer, some have said various things about him... But who is Nelson Isibor to me? This will be after all my deals are been sorted out. I share in your pain sweetheart, just keep on his neck, miracle might happen |
Thespecialone:What an irony, why others are getting their goods, mine got missing... There is God in heaven... These are rejoinders to the ones sent on whatsapp, FYI If you need more, tell me

I have learnt never to give up no matter how worse the case may be. Nigeria is coming out more stronger and bolder. |
The measures introduced by the Federal Government to monitor crude transit and check oil theft are said to be threatening income lifeline, compounding the damage the crude price fall has done to Nigeria’s finances, access to dollars and imports. Oil traders and shipping brokers said a newly implemented “letter of comfort” requirement under which vessel owners must sign a guarantee that their ships would not be used for theft had made it more difficult and expensive to load Nigerian crude, putting some buyers off. A copy of the letter draft seen by Reuters requested vessel owners to “guarantee to indemnify” the government and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation against any illicit use of their vessels, which led some owners to reject pending bookings. Traders say others are refusing future requests for now. “Nobody is coming forward for offering the vessel and whoever is willing to go to Nigeria is asking exorbitant rates,” said K. Namdeo, head of refineries at India’s HPCL, adding they would “be cautious in future” about buying Nigerian crude. Tanker owner, Heidmar, was said to have rejected an HPCL Nigerian fixture due to insurance concerns over the letter. Finding a replacement proved difficult. Provisional fixtures showed the MT Solana sailing to West Africa for HPCL, but the vessel turned away from Africa, according to tracking data, and is now en-route to the Bahamas without oil. Fixtures showed the refiner putting two Suezmax vessels on subjects for the journey, which typically adds to costs. Some European buyers are also now treading carefully with Nigeria, according to the report. An oil trader for one Mediterranean refiner said they “will not touch a single drop of Nigerian crude until this matter on the letter of comfort is solved.” There is little disagreement that Nigeria needs to fight oil theft, which President Muhammadu Buhari has said siphons as much as 250,000 barrels per day of crude of its nearly two million bpd of production. Industry sources said an initial effort, the banning of roughly 100 oil tankers that came from Buhari’s office in July, was too blunt an instrument. But in lifting that ban earlier this month, it added the letter of comfort with immediate effect, which sources said applied to all vessels, creating a potentially bigger problem. Oil tanker industry association, INTERTANKO, said the letter as drafted would give the Nigerian authorities a “blank cheque” for any perceived violations. “NNPC’s guarantee terms would allow the Nigerian authorities to impose an arbitrary penalty for breach of local law – of which owners might be unaware – and then demand an indemnity for their losses without the need to prove any loss,” said INTERTANKO’s General Counsel, Michele White, adding that “owners’ insurance would not respond to that.” Shipping sources said that in addition to Heidmar, Asian companies, China Shipping and AMCL, would not call at Nigerian ports for the time being, nor will Greece’s Chandris. “The revenue impact will be significant,” said Dolapo Oni, head of energy research with pan-African lender, Ecobank. “Due to the expensive freight, we are likely to see differentials weaken considerably, which means we could have lower revenue than normal,” he added. Its getting interesting by the day... |
ABUJA–PRESIDENT Muhammed Buhari failed to meet up with his earlier promise of submitting list of nominees to the Senate before the end of September. The president had assured that the list containing the nominees into ministerial offices would be submitted to the Red Chamber latest by September 30,for onward screening and possible confirmation. But the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, who announces correspondences from the president at the beginning of plenary, before the consideration of any other items in the day’s business, could not announce any letter from the President during Tuesday’s session, indicating that there was no such list at his disposal. The development prompted the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP senators, through the Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, to seek clarification. Akpabio, PDP, Akwa Ibom North West, raised a point of order, under matter of urgent importance, to find out why the Senate President had not announced the president’s letter containing ministerial nominees. Akpabio, who noted that the nation’s newspapers in the last couple of weeks, have been awashed with stories of ministerial appointments by the president, asked the Senate President why he received the list from President Buhari and was hiding it from his colleagues. As Saraki attempted to answer Akpabio’s question, Deputy Senate Leader, Ibn Bala Na’Allah, APC, Kebbi South, raised another point of order, where he explained that the day was still young, saying since the day’s session ends by 12:30pm, there was still the hope that the president would transmit the list of ministerial nominees to the Upper Chamber before the close of the session. He also said since the day ends by 12 midnight, there was still hope that the list could come before the time. But the Senate President, who was thrown the question, could not provide answer, as he over-ruled Senator Akpabio, asking that the next item in the day’s agenda be introduced.
