Apple is known as one of the safest brands and service providers on the market. Hence, most users trust Apple products and services blindly. However, according to the latest reports, a 16-Year-Old teen hacked Apple’s servers and stole 90GB of secure files.

But, there are occasional news about security breaches. Most recently, a young Australian has accessed Apple’s networks and servers and managed to transfer 90GB of user data.

The young man from Melbourne is facing legal action after he repeatedly hacked into Apple’s servers and accessed private data from the company and its users.

His identity is unknown for legal reasons. But it is known that he entered the company’s networks on multiple occasions over a year. He claims to be an Apple fan, simply aiming for a place in the Cupertino company according to his lawyer.

The 90GB data transferred by the young man were found on two computers and an external disk in his home in a folder called “Hacky Hack Hack.”. Moreover, the 90GB of breached data not only consists of private company data but also consists of users’ private data as well. However, they are reportedly not disclosed to third parties and should not compromise the security or integrity of users’ accounts.



“Two Apple laptops were seized, and the serial numbers matched the serial numbers of the devices which accessed the internal systems,” a prosecutor was quoted as saying by Australian media The Age. “A mobile phone and hard drive were also seized, and the IP address matched the intrusions into the organization.”

The young Australian confided via WhatsApp his actions with some individuals, but it is not guaranteed that he has disclosed data.

However, the information on the case is still very scanty since the tech giant Apple asked for maximum secrecy during the trial. Apple has yet to comment on the case or comment on the security of its users’ data and accounts.

The trial was postponed to next month perhaps by that time Apple will publicly comment on the case.

Apple has already commented on the case of the Australian teen’s multiple intrusions into the company’s private networks and servers and has told Reuters that the users’ personal data were not compromised during the incidents.

According to the Android Authority, the camera of Pocophone F1 is quite depressive. The phone features 12 Megapixel main sensor and 5 Megapixel secondary sensor. The camera performance is acceptable in good lighting condition, but it’s not satisfactory.

The picture quality looks washed out and its even seems blurry even in good lighting condition. The portrait mode also fails to deliver acceptable results. On the front of the phone packs 20 Megapixel primary sensor which again failed to convince Android Authority staffs.

However, Android Authority claims that the company might tweak its camera performance before officially rolling out. Or they can even push an update which might improve the camera performance.

Final Verdict
Well, according to Android Authority, the Pocophone F1 is a phone which performs great due to its Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB of RAM. The price of the phone is supposed to be affordable and cheap compared to other phone running on the same processor.

However, if you are looking for an affordable phone which can perform well in every aspect, then Pocophone might disappoint you. It’s not that the phone is bad, but the camera is not up to the mark, the software version is also a little buggy.

In addition, the social network lost 3 million users – this is the first time the company has recorded a significant decrease in accounts – but ended the same period with 188 million active profiles. It is still a significant number, even though it represents a growth of 8% compared to the second quarter of 2017.

The future is hazy, but at least for now investors can breathe a sigh of relief. Among them is Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, who has recently invested $250 million in Snap and has now holds 2.3% of the company’s stock. He also invests in services like Twitter and Lyft.

Yes you read it right. MTN just slashed their night plan. Just yesterday I bought the MTN night plan at N25 for 500MB but tonight when I attempted it I got a shocking message. The plan has been slashed by 75%. Now all you get for N25 is 125MB. This is very bad news for night crawlers like myself. Also you can get 250MB for N50. Another change made is that now you can purchase it multiple times in a night. It also lasts from 12 midnight to 5am previously it lasted till 4am. These are the new subscription codes incase if you are still interested in their night plan.

It’s not just in appearance that both models carry the BlackBerry brand. Buoyed by a stronger than expected earnings report for the second quarter on Tuesday, Apple has become the first American company ever to be worth over $1 trillion. Shares of the iPhone maker closed at $207.39 Thursday, lifting the company’s market cap to about $1.001 trillion.

Shares of the company rose 3% Thursday, and are up about 31% over the past year.

Other tech giants have approached $1 trillion in market cap, but still lag behind Apple. Amazon’s (AMZN, +2.06%) valuation stands at around $877 million, while Alphabet’s (GOOG, +0.47%)net worth is $851 million and Microsoft(MSFT, +1.30%) is worth about $822 million. Facebook (FB, +2.76%) was also in the hunt for a $1 trillion market cap, until a stock collapse last week dramatically cut the company’s market cap to $504 million as of Thursday’s trading.

The first company to ever be worth $1 trillion was Petrochina, which reached the valuation briefly on its first day of trading, following its 2007 IPO. But that peak coincided with a Chinese stock-market bubble, and PetroChina’s shares would lose $800 billion in value over the next 10 years.

Apple’s fortunes, by contrast, seem brighter. Some market observers consider US tech stocks to be overvalued, but few think we’re in a bubble.

A company’s market cap is calculated by multiplying the number of shares outstanding by its stock’s share price. The latest security breach has been announced by Reddit and calls into question the protection of its users’ data. It was recently discovered and revealed that between June 14 and 18, it was allowed access to copies of the Reddit databases.

This access has been able to intercept the SMS that the Reddit security systems send to their employees, as an additional measure of protection. It was in a publication on Reddit itself that its chief security officer reported on this problem.

According to the information published, the data accessed is not recent and refers to the years between 2005 and 2007. From that period, user data were collected, including encrypted passwords, usernames, public and private exchanged messages, and associated email addresses.

In addition to this less current information, more recent information such as emails sent to users last June was also included, including users’ email addresses.

Reddit has undertaken to thoroughly investigate this information leak and to take the necessary steps to ensure that it does not happen in the future. The most obvious measure is to abandon the SMS to transmit the additional authentication measures and start using the apps.

It will also be communicated to the affected users that their data has been accessed and what access has been made. However, it is advised that everyone carry out the usual password change and the activation of the additional security measures that Reddit already makes available.

BlackBerry smartphones are now made by TCL which is responsible for making Alcatel phones too in a similar way HMD makes Nokia phones. The BlackBerry Key2 now has an improved qwerty keyboard which is also now capacitive and a revised build but nothing drastic. Also, the phone now features an improved spec sheet which includes a dual rear camera and hardware to name a few.

Build and Design

The BlackBerry Key2 keeps the physical buttons which is something you don’t see on smartphones nowadays. A lot of work has been put into the qwerty keypads which you can see in how functional it has become. You can now swipe on the keyboard to navigate in apps plus there is a better spatial arrangement with backlight. A new key has been added at the bottom-right part called the speedy key which serves as a shortcut by pressing it together down and tapping any other letter (must have been preset).
The space bar also doubles as a fingerprint reader just in case you were looking for designated round space. There is a matte finish at the rear which by the way has a pleasant feel to it. There is a USB Type-C port at the bottom in between the speaker grille while the sim port is at the left side and the right side house the volume rocker, power button and another button called the convenience key. The convenience key has a unique surface to differentiate it from the power button and can be configured to launch any action of choice.

Display

At 4.5-inch, the screen is a bit small and if you like watching movies a lot you might not like this phone too much. On the other hand, the smartphone’s screen is only good in portrait mode and certainly not good for gaming because of the lack of equilibrium in landscape orientation. The display is good enough with a resolution of 1620 x 1080 pixels with a fair brightness too and can be seen outdoors
Battery and Camera

Unlike the old history of poor battery life in BlackBerry phones, the BlackBerry Key2 has a good battery life although it is most certainly not going to win any award. The smartphone is powered by a 3, 500mAh battery with fast charge also supported. It doesn’t have wireless charging, not like you are going to miss it that much with the/Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 on board.
BlackBerry joins in the dual camera wagon with the BlackBerry Key2 having the feature on the rear side. Camera performance has to be stellar at this price point and what the smartphone delivers is not particularly impressive. It shoots with a combo of two 12MP cameras, one having a f/1.8 aperture while the other has f/2.6. In the area of selfies, you have a single 8MP camera in charge and it has a quite underwhelming performance.
Hardware and Software

The smartphone has the same set of chipset as the Nokia 7 Plus and it had a good track record performance-wise. Talking about the processor, there is the Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 with eight cores accompanied by an Adreno 512 GPU. This performs well enough working hand in hand with 6GB RAM and a 64GB or 128GB storage space from the box. A heavy modification has been made by BlackBerry to the Android 8.1 Oreo for more security and some handy shortcuts.

The tech giant Google has been working for at least two years on an operating system called Fuchsia. The project is handled with such discretion that it seems to be just a concept. But there is more and more evidence that the platform is being developed for a daring mission: completely replace Android and thus rid the tech giant Google of Linux and Java.

The first information about Fuchsia came in 2016 when the tech giant Google started sending project codes to GitHub. In 2017, the first images of the project were revealed and showed previous Armadillo, the interface of the system. It made evident one of the main features of Fuchsia: to be compatible with different sizes of screens.

It is now known that, in fact, the tech giant Google’s goal is to have an operating system capable of not only running on smartphones and tablets but also on laptops as well (replacing Chrome OS also), smart speakers and other home devices. Theoretically, a single operating system is much easier to control and upgrade even in completely different devices.

Unlike Android, Fuchsia will not have Linux as its foundation. Apparently, the operating system kernel is being developed from scratch and will be called Zircon (the previous name was Magenta). A kernel of its own should have two advantages: to help the tech giant Google get rid of conflicts with Oracle over the use of Java and allow the company to have more comprehensive control over the platform.

It is to be expected, for example, that the tech giant Google will be able to make Fuchsia receive security updates faster, more accurately support voice recognition, and advanced features faster to stay competitive with iOS.

But this is a long-term plan. In addition to the technical issues, the tech giant Google needs to address the issue with manufacturers and developers. The first device with the Fuchsia should only be released in 2021 and, if nothing goes wrong, replacing Android in smartphones should take five years, the same is true for laptops as well.
