Business / Free Online Shopping Site To Sell And Buy New Or Used Goods by sainttobs(m): 6:14pm On Jul 22, 2019
I built Whogobuyam (https://www.whogobuyam.com/) with a few of my friends to serve as a free platform where sellers and buyers can conduct business. The platform is free for sellers to upload and market their products/services, it serves as an ecommerce site for everyone. You can upload your products either New or Used for prospective buyers to order, and also purchase goods and services online. With the Product Request feature you can request for a product if it's not currently available on the site. Sellers will contact you regarding your request.

How The Platform Works

Immediately you visit the website @ https://www.whogobuyam.com/ you will see a list of products/services already available for sale. You can also Register to upload your own products/services to reach customers nationwide. You can upload your product/service on your dahsboard by filling in the details of your product and uploading an image of the product.

After registering remember to update your account details with your WhatsApp Number and other details so buyers can reach you. Buyers can either choose to contact you directly to purchase your product through your WhatsApp number (so make sure you use a number that is active) or the buyer can choose to pay online and we act as an escrow between the buyer and seller.

If the buyer chooses to pay online you will recieve an email notifying you that someone has ordered your product. The email will include details of the person who ordered your product so you can contact him/her to deliver the product. You have a deadline of 5 days to deliver the product to the buyer or the order will be cancelled and the money will be returned to the buyer. After delivering the product on your dashboard click the button to let us know that you have delivered the product. We will confirm from the buyer within 24 hours that he/she has recieved the product and you will be credited.

If you have further questions or opinion share them below and I will do my best to answer them. Visit https://www.whogobuyam.com/ to check out the site.

We all know very well that companies are developing new ways to evolve their technologies and products simply to make our lives much simpler and easier. Hence, after lots of leaks and rumors, finally, Huawei just launched the world’s first smartphone with in-screen front camera and 48MP AI camera (rear).
World’s First Smartphone With In-Hole Display And 48MP AI Camera

Finally after a series of leaks and rumors, the all-new Honor V20 is now unveiled by Huawei, and with this new flagship smartphone, Huawei simply took the lead from its rivals to become one of the first smartphones to mount a screen with a hole for the front camera. Yes, it is the world’s first smartphone with an in-screen camera.

One of the most outstanding feature of this new Honor phone, Honor V20 is the presence of a 4.5mm hole in the screen after which the front camera is installed, and I pretty sure that this new concept will simply delight all those users who do not like the presence of so-called notch.

But, apart from this outstanding feature, it comes with the Sony IMX586 rear camera, which includes a huge 1/2-inch (0.8 μm/pixel) sensor and a 48MP resolution with aperture f/1.8 and a secondary TOF 3D sensor that will allow you to create 3D images and augmented reality. As for the front camera, it mounts a 25MP sensor with aperture f/2.0 in the upper left corner of the front which looks quite different, as it is the first on in its category.

While now if we talk about the hardware of this new smartphone, the new Honor V20 is specially designed for photography as it includes outstanding features like Huawei’s night shot mode, electronic stabilizer (EIS) and GPU Turbo 2.0.

Start with HTML and CSS. They are both easy to understand and will give you a good understanding of how web development works. Next take on Javascript. Then you can move to server side languages like PHP, MySQL. Although I prefer NodeJS and MongoDB for server side and database.

After that you can start learning frameworks like ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS, Django, Express etc.

Phones / Oppo Achieves 5G Speed On This Modified Smartphone by sainttobs(m): 2:34pm On Oct 31, 2018

Smartphones with the 5G connection are close, although everything will happen in a slower way than what has been announced. A few months ago the standard was completed, so the different component manufacturers announced their respective modems. Hence, now according to the latest reports, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo has achieved 5G speed on a modified smartphone.

Oppo Achieves 5G Speed On This Modified Smartphone
Smartphones with the 5G connection are close, although everything will happen in a slower way than what has been announced. A few months ago the standard was completed, so the different component manufacturers announced their respective modems. As the giant chip manufacturer, Intel, Qualcomm, and even the South Korean giant Samsung put their bets on the table to include in future smartphones.

The well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OPPO does not want to be less and has already made its own tests. Oppo already expressed its desire to be one of the first manufacturers to put into circulation a compatible phone with 5G mobile networks, however, the different thing is whether these networks will be available or not in our area. As the deployment, as happened with the 4G and past generations, will be slow.

Modified Helio P60
The intention of the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, of course, OPPO is, as we said, to have its 5G mobile phone as soon as possible, and for that, it has used a current phone and made some modifications. Specifically, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer has used the OPPO R15, a phone that arrived on the market last April 2018 and did so with the Helio P60 on board, a processor with the 4G chip on board, and without hints of being converted into a 5G processor in the future.

OPPO adapted this phone to the needs of the 5G, attaching a compatible 5G modem to the phone’s motherboard, thus canceling the one included in MediaTek’s own SoC. Thanks to these modifications, the manufacturer have been able to perform various compatibility tests in order to include modifications in their future phones, in addition to these may have a processor with the built-in 5G modem, such as what the future Snapdragon 855 is expected to offer.

In fact, OPPO collaborates closely with Qualcomm since the last Beijing Olympics in 2018, when both inaugurated a 5G pilot program to explore the possibilities of this new wireless communication standard. Subsequently, OPPO has continued to make various advances in the field and has finally successfully completed its first data connection under 5G networks in Shenzhen, China.

We still do not know which OPPO model will be the first to carry the aforementioned 5G modem included in the Snapdragon 855, which apparently can be the Snapdragon X50 that the American giant Qualcomm teased some months ago. So, what do you think about this? Simply share all your views and thoughts in the comment section below.

Phones / Google’s Android Apps Are No Longer Free by sainttobs(m): 2:33pm On Oct 18, 2018
Android-Is-No-Longer-Free

Google has announced changes in how European smartphone and tablet makers can use Google’s Android apps in response to the EU’s $5 billion fine. Going forward, EU manufacturers will now have to pay Google a license fee to bundle Google’s suite of mobile apps.

In July, the European Commission fined Google for breaching EU antitrust rules by allegedly forcing EU manufacturers to pre-install Google search and their suite of bundled apps, paying manufacturers to make Google the exclusive search app, and by obstructing the development of competing mobile software. As part of this ruling, Google was told they needed to stop this behavior.

Google has stated that the bundling of Google Search and Chrome funded the development of the Android operating system. Without the pre-installation of these apps, European mobile device manufacturers will now need to pay a license fee to bundle Google’s Android apps such as Google Play, Maps, and YouTube.

“Since the pre-installation of Google Search and Chrome together with our other apps helped us fund the development and free distribution of Android, we will introduce a new paid licensing agreement for smartphones and tablets shipped into the EEA. Android will remain free and open source.” writes Google’s Hiroshi Lockheimer in a blog post.

Google Chrome and Search will also be available, but will need to be licensed under separate agreements.

“Second, device manufacturers will be able to license the Google mobile application suite separately from the Google Search App or the Chrome browser,” the announcement continues. “Since the pre-installation of Google Search and Chrome together with our other apps helped us fund the development and free distribution of Android, we will introduce a new paid licensing agreement for smartphones and tablets shipped into the EEA. Android will remain free and open source.”

This new license agreement is planned to go into effect on October 29th, 2018 for all new smartphones and tablets launched in Europe.

Science/Technology / Here’s How Hackers Steal Your Credit/debit Card Details! by sainttobs(m): 5:00pm On Oct 04, 2018

Here’s How Hackers Steal Your Credit/Debit Card Details!
The method that hackers mostly use to steal credit card data is known as formjacking. Basically, formjacking is a process in which hackers inject malicious Javascript codes into the checkout web pages of various shopping sites. So, when any user enters the credit or debit card details to complete the purchase, the information immediately passes through the hands of hackers.

The hacking attempt is easy to implement, and any hacker who have enough technical knowledge can perform the Formjacking attempt. Not only that, the security firm, Norton claimed that they had blocked as much as 248,000 instances of formjacking since mid-August. The numbers are quite high compared to all other years.

Not only that, but Norton also claims that the drastic increase in Formjacking attempt is worrisome. The cybersecurity company also claimed that this year the formjacking attempts have been on a larger scale and more sophisticated than before.

So, how do Formjacking works?
Formjacking is one of the most used hacking techniques used by hackers. Suppose you are purchasing a product from an online shopping site and decided to pay for the purchase with your credit card. On the final page of payment, where you need to enter the Credit card details, the malicious JavaScript injected kicks in and it collects all the data that you have entered and send it to the attacker’s server.

After getting the Credit card details, the attacker can use that details to pay for whatever they want. They can even choose to sell that information on the dark web.

What makes the attack scarier?
This year we have seen a formjacking campaign which is kicked by a group called Magecraft. The attack targeted Ticketmaster, British Airways, Feedify, and Newegg. These are not small companies, they’re all well-established and popular e-commerce portals.

New iPhones Gets Weak Response! 40-45% Stock Unsold After Launch
Just a few weeks ago, we have seen the tech giant Apple launched the most powerful and evolved versions of iPhones. The new iPhones are called iPhone XS & iPhone XS Max respectively. Well, Apple has made some huge changes with the newly launched iPhones and incorporated new technologies.

However, just like all other iPhones, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max also kept receiving lots of negative feedback from users since it was launched. Users are complaining about the charging issues, bad front camera, etc. Now, it looks like there’s some more bad news for Apple and its new iPhones.

Several large retailers have said that Apple’s newly launched iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max is struggling to fly off the shelves. Not only that, but the retailers also noted that almost half of their stock is yet to be sold.

The reports of Economic Times also claims that the sales of both iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max were down to about 55-60% compared to last year’s iPhone X in the first three days of the launch.

The same reports also claim that the senior executives of Reliance Digital and Sangeetha Mobiles also aggress that this year’s iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max sales are off to a very slow start.

The company imported as much as 1,00,000 units of brand new iPhones for sale in India and distributed the stocks across all region, in order to ensure that the sales would start off with a bang. However, things haven’t gone the way its expected.

The most probable reason behind the weak response might be the price hike. So, what’s your opinion on this? Share your views in the comment box below.

Science/Technology / Facebook Faces Up To $1.63 Billion Fine For Latest Hack by sainttobs(m): 12:24pm On Oct 02, 2018

Facebook To Face Up To $1.63 Billion Fine For Latest Hack
It was last Friday that the social network giant Facebook announced one of its biggest and latest security issues. This led to the exposure of 50 million users.

As many of these users are in the European Union, the largest social network on the Internet, of course, Facebook risks a fine of up to $1.63 billion, all under the GDPR.

The security flaw that the social network giant Facebook made public last Friday has a far larger dimension than normal for several reasons. The first of these is in the high number of affected users who may have seen their data stolen.

Secondly, and in the light of the GDPR rules, this failure could lead to a fine of up to 2% of its overall revenue.

Some European countries have already started looking into the case and Ireland, where the social network giant Facebook has its European headquarters, will have already required detailed information from the social network giant Facebook.

In the case of the GDPR, very straightforward rules apply and oblige companies to report these failures and theft of data to the authorities within a maximum of 72 hours, under penalty of high fines.

In the case of this security breach, the social network giant Facebook complied with the 72-hour rule, but the Irish regulator complains that the notification lacked details and important information about the problem.

One of the biggest concerns of the Irish regulator is the impact this failure can have on users. 50 million is a very high number for affected users and even today it is not known exactly what data was stolen and its volume.

The European Commission may want to make this case and the social network giant Facebook an example and apply a historical fine, as has happened in other cases of violations of the rules defined.

If the regulator chooses to proceed, this case will not be forgotten and will not have a decision soon. Beyond the accusations, we have to wait for the defense of the social network giant Facebook and its lawyers. So, what do you think about this? Computers / Why Restart Is Required? How It Fix Most Of The Problems? by sainttobs(m): 1:42am On Sep 27, 2018

If you ever contacted tech support, then you might have heard a question ‘Did you restart your computer’. In fact, most of us are used to hearing it by now. However, have you ever wondered how a simple restart could fix anything? Check out how a simple restart could fix most of the problems.

Why Restart Is Required? How It Fix Most Of the Problems?
If you ever contacted tech support, then you might have heard a question ‘Did you restart your computer’. Very often we have been told to restart something, be it your PC, television, smartphone, internet mode, or whatever other devices you are using.

In fact, most of us are used to hearing it by now. However, have you ever wondered how a simple restart could fix anything? The solution is so standard that most of us try this solution without giving a second thought. So, what’s exactly a restart does and how it can fix anything?

Well, first of all, let’s talk about a few things that happen when our computer is active. We perform lots of tasks on our computer like opening different softwares, performing tasks like Copy/paste, close application, etc. Similarly, on other gadgets, we also do lots of similar functions.

Let me tell you the interesting thing. Our computer has now become so advanced that one can keep working for several days without turning them off. Different software that we use on our computer uses our computer’s ram. In fact, the Operating system you are using be it the Windows, Mac, Ubuntu, etc. keeps using the RAM.

Things stay normal when the operating system remains under the hardware limitation. However, when it exceeds the limits, we can expect frequent crashes, overheating, sluggish performance, BSOD, etc. Such issues are often easily solved by a simple restart.

So, what does the Restart does?
Restarting your device provides you with a clean slate. Usually, the programs which runs on the background leaves behind some trash or junk that’s needed to be cleaned. Sometimes, the applications don’t close properly, and you can’t reopen them. So, when you restart your computer, things get into a clean state, and it makes all those apps fully functional.

Basically, a simple restart dumps the current state of all software and tasks and helps in getting rid of the troublesome code. Not only that but, a simple restart could also fix some hardware or driver malfunction. You might be already aware of the infamous Blue Screen of Death, the scary screen appears when Windows doesn’t know how to deal with the problematic situation, so, it automatically restarts your computer without any prior notification.

The same thing goes for different electronic devices including smartphones, routers, TVs, smartphones, etc. These devices can perform better after a simple restart. So, the next time, you deal with any kind of errors or software problem, make sure to restart your computer.

However, if you are experiencing frequent PC crash and you are forced to restart your computer multiple times in a day, then your computer might need an upgrade. So, what’s your opinion on this? Share your views in the comment box below.

Huawei: Kirin 980 Is Faster Than Apple’s A12 Bionic
Huawei just unveiled its new flagship Kirin 980 SoC which is the world’s first 5G-ready 7nm mobile chipset and not only that even Huawei also claimed that the Kirin 980 is faster than Apple’s A12 Bionic.

From the showcase, in addition to the Kirin 980 SoC, we were able to see other gadgets, such as a smart speaker, the Huawei AI Cube, and a Huawei Locator. We will soon know all its details, but, surprisingly the most unusual thing happened is that there is no any smartphone presented by Huawei.

During this period of the year, we always had the opportunity to ramble around one of the biggest technology fairs in the world. And in this big event, Huawei’s stand was one of the remarkable.

A new SoC, a gadget to help locate people and objects and another that brings to our home theArtificial Intelligence, will be the big stars of this year’s event.

After introducing its Kirin 980, a major competitor to Apple’s A12 Bionic which is present on its new iPhones. However, according to the Chinese brand, its new processor may even surpass the tech giant Apple’s powerful SoC.

With the recent introduction of the new iPhones, the tech giant Apple introduced the new Bionic A12 processor, built in 7nm, which stood out for its performance and that surpassed all competition.

Although the tech giant Apple dominates this market, the truth is that Huawei will be able to meddle in the fight and win the first place. At least that is the claim of the Chinese brand, which announced at an event in Dubai that its new processor, the Kirin 980, could be better than Apple’s SoC.

Presented in September, we can only see the true performance of the new Kirin 980 as soon as the new Huawei Mate 20 Pro is introduced on October 16th.

Until then, only official brand data has been known, which has been preparing this processor for the past three years. Focusing on three specific areas (power and efficiency, intelligence and connectivity), we can find in this processor 6900 million transistors, the same number as the tech giant Apple’s A12 Bionic, as well as two NPUs capable of recognizing 4500 images per minute.

According to the brand, this will be a major evolution compared to its previous processor, representing a 75% growth in CPU speed and 46% in GPU speed.

After the tech giant Apple introduced the Aion Bionic A12, Huawei will try to surprise the Kirin 980, which is expected to greatly outperform the existing processors in the Android smartphone market.

The Internet has become used to seeing the tests of resistance and durability of smartphones by YouTuber JerryRigEverything. The parameters are always the same, using some specific materials to test different levels of resistance and all end with the attempt to break the smartphone by hand.

In the tests on the glass of the screen, where several tips of different hardnesses are used to realize the resistance to scratches. It is known that the Pocophone F1 has Gorilla Glass protection. So, he starts to scratch from level 6.

The sides, with a finish that looks like metal, reveal what we already knew, which are made of plastic. The buttons are in metal, but the card slot is also plastic and without any water resistance protection. At the rear, the chambers are protected by glass, which is already less resistant than the front glass.

The most impressive is the phase in which it picks up the smartphone to fold it despite a slight yield that it does not go much further than a small curve, neither the back cover nor the front glass are damaged by this test very different from what happened to Oppo Find X.

Science/Technology / What Is A Distributed Denial-of-service (ddos) Attack? How Does It Work? by sainttobs(m): 8:51pm On Sep 16, 2018

Distributed denial of service or DDoS for short, tries to make an online website unavailable by overwhelming it with unwanted traffic from multiple computers. To carry out the DDoS attacks, hackers mostly tries to spread malicious files to vulnerable computers through infected emails and attachments.

What is a Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack? How does it work?
Very often we hear about the DDoS attack – Distributed Denial of Service. A DDoS attack is one of the most common attacks that the internet world faces very often. In fact, the previous year had seen tremendous growth in such attacks. However, do you know how DDoS attack works?

Well, in this article we are going to discuss all about DDoS attacks. DDoS attacks are one of the well-known and widely used forms of cyber attacks. The cyber attack can temporarily stop victims from accessing the system and network resources, radically disrupting internet services.

So, what is DDoS Attack & How it works?
Distributed denial of service or DDoS for short, tries to make an online website unavailable by overwhelming it with unwanted traffic from multiple computers. To carry out the DDoS attacks, hackers mostly tries to spread malicious files to vulnerable computers through infected emails and attachments.

So, the first step to carry out a successful DDoS attack is to create a network of infected computers by spreading malicious emails and software. The network of infected systems is known as botnets. After being infected, these botnets could be controlled remotely by the hackers.

After getting the full control over the botnet, it was then used to flood a certain site with traffic so much that the website overloads and network ceases to work, taking the site offline. Now, these botnets are sold on the deep web to carry out DDoS attacks. One of the famous and most destructive botnets is known as Mirai which houses over 380,000 botnets.

Why Hackers Choose DDoS attacks?
Well, DDoS attacks are mostly used by hackers because it can take down websites of all sizes, from heavy-duty enterprises to smaller. The motives for the attacks can be varied, however, revenge is often a motive in these cases.

On some worst situation, attackers might also demand money to stop the DDoS attack. The most important reason why hackers mostly choose DDoS attacks is that botnets can be sold and DDoS attacks are also one of the simplest forms of cyber attack to carry out.

For more information, you can also take a look at the infographic shared below. The infographic is created by an Ireland-based security firm known as Barricade. The infographic can help you to clear all your doubts regarding DDoS attacks and how it works.

Apple has got fanboys hot under the collar with the unveiling of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.

The trio had few surprises in store thanks to the huge number of leaks building up to Apple’s launch event; the iPhone XS and XS Max pack 5.8in and 6.5in OLED screens, respectively, while the “low-end” XR features a 6.1in LCD ‘Liquid Retina’ screen.

All three models are the first to feature Apple’s homegrown A12 Bionic CPU, the first commercially available 7nm processor, and all come adorned with the notched display that first debuted on last year’s iPhone X.

We’ve rounded up everything you need to know about Apple’s iPhone XS, XS Max and XR below.

Release date

Apple’s iPhone XS and XS Max will be available to pre-order from 14 September, with shipping to begin on 21 September.

Pre-orders for the iPhone XR begin on 19 October before the handset starts shipping on 26 October.

Price

The iPhone XS and XS Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB configurations. The XS will cost £999, £1,149 and £1,349, while the XS Max will set you back £1,099, £1,249 and £1,449, respectively.

The iPhone XR, which will be offered with 64GB, 128GB or 256GB storage, will be priced at £749, £799 and £899, respectively.

All three smartphones will be available to buy through all major operators.

Latest news

13/9/18: Apples not-yet-day-old iPhones have been shown up in Geekbench (via LetsGoDigital), revealing the performance you can expect from the firm’s 7nm A12 Bionic chip.

The lowest-spec iPhone XR, which the listing reveals features 3GB RAM, earns itself a single-core score 4,754 and a multi-core score of 9,367. While the run-of-the-mill iPhone XS hasn’t yet been listed on Geekbench, its bigger Max-branded sibling, which comes with 4GB RAM, ranks with a single-core score of 4,813 and a multi-core score of 10,266.

In comparison, last year’s now-defunct iPhone X reached a Geekbench score of 4,055 in single-core and 10,375 in multi-core.

12/9/18: Apple has officially unveiled the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR at its much-hyped ‘Gather Round’ event.

The 5.8in iPhone XS is the direct successor to last year’s iPhone X, while the Max model, which offers the same footprint as Apple’s previous 5.5in smartphones despite its larger 6.5in OLED display, essentially replaces Apple’s now-defunct Plus-branded models.

Both the XS and XS Max feature Super Retina resolution screens, which offer HDR, Dolby Vision, a 120Hz refresh rate and carry the notch that debuted on last year’s flagship. This is to accommodate Apple’s souped-up Face ID tech, which the firm is now touting as the “most secure facial authentication ever in a smartphone”.

Both also come crafted from surgical-grade stainless steel and the “most durable glass ever in a smartphone”, with the new devices now boasting IP68 certification.

Under the hood, the new iPhone XS models pack Apple’s A12 Bionic CPU, the first commercially available 7nm chip. The processor, which comprises of a four-core CPU, six-core GPU a next-gen eight-core neural engine, promises to deliver a 15 per cent performance boost compared to last year’s A11 chip, 40 per cent lower power consumption and support for real-time machine learning.

On the photography front, the iPhone XS and XS Max pack a dual 12MP camera setup, which boasts a larger sensor than that found on the iPhone X and an improved TrueTone flash. There’s a bunch of new Camera software features incoming too, including a new ‘Smart HDR’ mode and the ability to adjust a photo’s depth of field after it’s been taken.

Around the front, you’ll find the same 7MP TrueDepth camera as last year’s model, but – according to Apple, at least – the sensor is “twice as fast” as before.

The iPhone XS and XS Max are also the first iPhones to support dual SIM, with a physical SIM card and Apple’s own eSIM. For China, Apple is specifically making a phone with two physical SIM slots.

In terms of battery life, Apple boasts that the iPhone XS will last, er, 30 minutes longer than the iPhone X, while the iPhone XS Max will deliver an extra hour and a half.

The iPhone XS and XS Max will be available with a choice of 64GB, 256GB, 512GB of storage, and in Gold and Silver, Space Grey colour options.

Apple also showcased the iPhone XR at its 12 September launch event, which arrives as the spiritual successor to last year’s iPhone 8. It hasn’t escaped the notch treatment, though, with Apple equipping the lower-end smartphone with a display cutout to accommodate its previously iPhone X-exclusive Face ID tech.

The handset, which takes cues from the iPhone 5C with its jazzy colour options, comes crafted from aluminium and glass, which houses its 6.1in LCD ‘Liquid Retina’ display and offers IP57 certifications.

While the iPhone XR packs the same A12 Bionic CPU as the XS and XS Max, it lacks the dual-camera setup of its more expensive siblings and instead touts a single 12MP wide-angle lens on its rear. You’ll find the same 7MP TrueDepth camera around the front, though.

The iPhone XR also offers dual SIM support with one physical card slot and a digital eSIM and, in terms of battery life, Apple claims you’ll get an hour and a half more than the iPhone 8 Plus.

The iPhone XR will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB configurations and white, black, blue, coral, red and yellow colour options.
