Romance › Re: What Can I Do About This by SaintUlot: 11:49am On Dec 16, 2023
aremubabs:
I am talking about friendship. Any of them can initiate, and seeing that he is the one who is in love, he should go ahead and try.

There is a lot to learn about her from merely trying to be her friend. He can learn about how she views people who are below her on the organizational chart.

My wife was assistant HM (ceremonial) when I got employment to the school. In fact, it was she who supervised my micro teaching and practically recommended me for employment. I didn't really notice her at the time because I merely assumed that she was married. But one day, I just looked at her long enough and fell in love.

As Assistant HM, she was also in charge of approving or rejecting lesson notes. So, I started from there. I made sure to write my lesson notes on time. I was always the first to submit. And when she made any corrections, I followed it to the letter because I had overheard her once telling someone that she liked people that were teachable.

There was also another duty of hers that I took seriously. She was in charge of planning assembly schedules and other extracurricular activities like drawing a chart for teachers on duty. Whatever week I was on assembly duty, I made the most of it. Assembly started early and ended 5 minutes to first period. At a point, you would often hear her say that "I like when Mr___ is on duty. No stress."

Mind you, the academic gap was there too. She had an NCE and a bachelor's. I was still in my last year because I got university admission late in life.

But I didn't let all these things deter me. I knew I could not just walk up to her and tell her I loved her. I made her like me. Did everything the way she liked it.

Whenever I was on afternoon duty, she always left school at closing time feeling confident that the school was in safe hands until the last child had been picked up. With other teachers, she had to stay until the last child was picked up because of a previous incident of kidnapping.

Whenever she was on afternoon duty herself, I would stay with her to watch over the children until the last one had been picked up. Then, I would help with shutting the gates.

She is my wife today cheesy
I was following this your suspense filled story with keen interest, until you decided to wrap it up hurriedly. Abeg we need the detail story. It is very important.
Travel › 11 Reasons Why You Must Japa From Nigeria by SaintUlot(op): 3:33pm On Dec 10, 2023
Outlined below are the 11 reasons why you must make sure you Japa from Nigeria:

1. For a bright future for you and your family, Japa is the only option you have. Future in Nigeria is looking bleak and cloudy at the moment, Japa now when you can.

2. If you want to live a quality life, give sound education to your kids, have access to comprehensive health care and top-notch life security, Nigeria cannot offer you all these, you can only have access to all these when you Japa

3. I am yet to see anybody that Japa from Nigeria and still remain poor. Poverty is only in Nigeria, once you leave Nigeria, you have bid farewell to Poverty for life. Confirm from all the people that have Japa, all of them are living in prosperity as i type this.

4. Immediately you leave Nigeria, all life and spiritual problems are over, that's why you see that when many people japa from Nigeria, they don't go to church and mosque again, simply because they have no reason to. The Government in their new country of residence have provided everything they needed, so no need to disturb God again. Life problems and Spiritual problems are only in Nigeria, they can't be found elsewhere.

5. Prosperity in Nigeria is by luck, not by hardwork, but elsewhere apart from Nigeria, if you are hardworking, you will surely reap the fruit of your hard work.

6. To Japa from Nigeria can be likened to going to paradise, As a Nigerian, Japa to us is our own paradise on earth, wouldn't you like to go to paradise?

7. Japa is what is Trending now, wouldn't you want to be a part of the new trend? Or you prefer to die inside trenches?

8. All your mates have all Japa, if you don't Japa like your mates too, Automatically you will be labelled a failure. Look around, how many of your school mates and childhood friends are still in Nigeria? All of them have all left and they are all enjoying themselves in their new country of residence.

9. Living anywhere else apart from Nigeria is better. Yes, you heard me right, When you are ready to Japa, ignore all those people saying "do your due diligence" doing due diligence is asking for too much. Anywhere you land yourself, even with your N500,000 savings, is a better place to live than Nigeria.

10. I don't think we still have up to 5 million people left in Nigeria, everybody don japa, do you want to be the only person left in Nigeria when the remaining people Japa?

11. When you Japa from Nigeria, you have Automatically add 30 years to your lifespan, mortality rate is high in Nigeria for obvious reasons, but elsewhere apart from Nigeria, life expectancy is very high.

Travel › With The Current Rate Of Japa, Is Poverty Rate Exaggerated In Nigeria? by SaintUlot(op): 5:01am On Nov 26, 2023
With the rate at which Nigerians are leaving Nigeria, you will think with N50k you can japa from that country. Every Tom, Dick and Harry have left, the remaining ones are just waiting to buy their flight ticket.

I doubt if we still have up to 1 million people left in Nigeria at this time. So where is that multidimensional poverty statistics coming from? If almost everybody can afford the cost of Japa that doesn't come cheap. This makes me to come to the conclusion that, Nigerians might not have money in their bank account, but majority have tangible assets that can be easily converted to cash if the need arises.

Career › Re: How Do You Deal With Sexual Harassment At Work? by SaintUlot: 3:56pm On Sep 18, 2023
sunsweet33:
My office hired a new manager and as I was standing by the side doing something he came up behind me put his hand on my lower back/waist and asked “how are you doing”. At that moment all my usual fire went out of the window and I just froze up. Actually there were 3 other senior staff around who must have seen it and warned him because thereafter, he only tapped my shoulder or shoulder blades (which I dont have any problem with).

Now a couple of days ago I had my hands full again doing something and this man passed behind me, held both sides of my waist very briefly and brushed against my back.

the whole thing was over in less than 5 seconds and I didn’t even see the person until I turned my head to see him watching me from the other side of the office.

bearing in mind this is a senior boss, I don’t feel I can shout or confront as normal so I have just been giving some stern/cold attitudes and stepping out of the way in a more exaggerated way whenever he passes by me. And he has started reciprocating the awkwardness which made it easier for me.

But how realistic is this? In another thread somebody wrote that his brother tried to get his female colleagues fired for rejecting his advances and I fear something similar may happen to me.

Its so irritating. This guy says he has a girlfriend so why not go home and touch her? WTF.
Next time he tries that with you, give him a stern warning immediately, never to touch you inappropriately or harass you sexually again, make sure your voice is loud and make sure you do that while recording him on camera, record him while dishing out the stern warning to him, then make an official report to your organisation management thereafter, don't delay. State all the number of times he has harrassed you sexually in the office in the past and the last one, make sure you quote date and time each harassment took place.

You will need that video evidence for your defence in your report against him. Make sure you record and warn him immediately after the next harassment, let your phone be with you at that time. He won't expect that your action and countenance of guilt will be written all over him, that's what you need as an evidence to show you are not framing him up.

Let your voice be loud, so that he can feel embarrassed and other staff will also hear your voice. You are both employees in the organisation, even though he is your boss, don't let him intimidate you @ all.

Crime › Re: How I Was Disvirgined By My Late Step Mom At Age 11... My True Life Story by SaintUlot: 1:00pm On Mar 29, 2023
Slimslimqq:
After the news of the witnesses broke out that they died on the same day, other church members stepped back out of fear that they might be targeted.

When the commisioner of police heard about the latest development, he asked that our church be closed till my dad was fully well and ordered him to be moved away to an undisclosed hospital for further treatment.

few weeks after, Dad was feeling better, he was later told about everything that happened during is absence. he bursted into tears, and promised to send my step mom to jail.

He was later discharged from hospital, and was invited by the cp.

he narrated everything that happened in detail to the cp, his lawyer was with him and my grandfather lawyer also.

The cp ordered for my step mom arrest and her children.

they were later not charged to court after much pleas from families and church executives. the matter was died down.

But life never remained the same again..

few years after, though a lot has happened that I can't even remember.

Year 2010, she(step mom) lost one of her kids(male of 37years).
She fell critically ill due to the death of her son.

She was taken to different hospitals which she was rejected due to her health issue. only God knows why she wasn't even responding to treatment.

Year 2011, dad was diagnosed with partial stroke, I had already finished my secondary school education same year.

Year 2012, she(step mom) was getting better after series of spiritual treatments in her hometown.

My mom had a spiritual attack, Yoruba call the attack "ofaa"..

after it was getting to delicate stages, my grandfather ordered we should bring her to ijebu to his spiritualist. that is were it was confirmed that it was a spiritual attack.

Then they did some sacrifice and spiritual stuffs for her.
the spiritualist then warned that the person who sent the attack will die after 7 days...

lo and behold, on 7th day, my step mom was rushed down to our house.

she confessed to every crime that she has been doing from the death of Seyi to how she raped me and my mom attack and a lot of bad things she did.

She said if I want to make it in life, then I have to do some stuffs which I have done. that was because of the sex she forced me to do.

she was later rushed to the hospital, but died on their way...

there's no peace for the dead..

Who remembers few years ago(8-9 years), when a news broke out on internet that a a coffin fell from the hands of undertakers on her burial day?
that was my step mom...

everyday I always hope there's hell, so that she can rot...

my dad later died year 2019(he was 75yrs)...
may my mom live long to eat the fruit of her labor.

I pray God lifts me soon and bless me to take care of her..

this is my story...

thanks for reading
Kindly shed more lights on what she asked you to do if you want to make it in life. Thanks

Good question.

1. Distribution of Mass Prepaid meters.
2. Paying part of popsy's long owed pension arrears since Obasanjo/Atiku's administration. Buhari really took care of the aged.
3. Improvement in the electoral law.
4. More recently is Buhari's effort at ensuring a free and fair election and the way Baba dey press urchins neck.

The rest na F9.

The suffering far outweigh and rubbish the achievement.
Too much Nepotism was the lowest highlight for me of this administration.

#proudly Obidient
1 Distribution of prepaid meter is not a favour, the meter is a property of the Discos and under normal circumstances, it is suppose to be distributed freely, because that is what they will use to bill your power usage.

2 your Daddy's pension that was paid, is your Daddy not entitled to it? Or is it a gift? to the best of my knowledge, pension is a right of every retiree and not a favour

Enough of celebrating mediocrity

I have a feeling that many people on this thread have been dealt with ruthlessly in the cryptocurrency market, they have lost a lot, i mean a lot, a life-changing huge sum of money, but they just chose to keep mum about it and licking their wound silently. If those people share their experience, many others will be able to learn from them and it won't be like as if everything in the market is always rosy as it is erroneously portrayed.
