don't be angry mehn, just go on and update it. the android 10 update is quite cool and Redmi 7 getting MIUI 12 is under probability so I'll advise you don't even expect it.

I do experience serious delay in sms delivery and reception sometimes up 8hrs that's when the sms either come in or is received and its causing so much misunderstanding between me and my contacts.

omo are you sure this isn't a fault from your network? try putting your SIM card in another device thrn if the problem persists call customer care.

Nokia 3.4 gaming review. First thing you should consider while gaming on your smartphone is the display, battery & the Nokia 3.4 does ticks those boxes. I played 3 title on this device which are Among Us, Call Of Duty Mobile and Dream League Soccer 2021. The Snapdragon 460 on this device did handle my 45 minutes of game play on this device pretty well. While gaming, there were noticeable lags and the 720p display does make gaming on this device fun outdoors.

Redmi 7 ain't eligible for MIUI 12 according to Xiaomi. But we are hoping that will change since they also said it's subjected to change.

Also, since I don't work with Xiaomi, I can't confirm if you've entered one change or not. Enjoy the android 10 and security patch update.

Let's be clear with the Redmi 7 Android 10 update based on MIUI 11.

There's no single MIUI 12 feature in the update. I've updated it and I know. The devs must be high on something. They pushed the wrong changelogs but later corrected it yesterday. They said it was a mistake hence the reason why the update was rolled back.

About MIUI 12, it's been confirmed that Redmi 7 won't get it due to compatibility issues but subjected to change. Android 10 is more or less a compensation for that but I'm quite sure that Redmi 7 will get MIUI 12 in the long run. Na here we dey.

First changelog that I received in the first screenshot. The misleading one.

Second changelog after the update in the second screenshot is the real changelog and this was confirmed by mibatman, a worker with Xiaomi.

P.S: they've released the update again to the general public with the correct changelogs (same as the first screenshot).

bro if you check my screenshot above you will see that I burnt 1.9gb on the update without any MIUI 12 features, will I receive another update which consists of those few MIUI 12 features? or I have enter one chance?

last major update for Redmi 7, Xiaomi try sha... it's been a good run.

it's a budget device (base model ) + MIUI has always been known for its aggressive RAM management so it's normal. You can try setting the apps you would like to keep running in the background to NO RESTRICTION under app battery saver and also consider locking some apps to your RAM. pardon my vague reply(sleep still dey my eye).

I personally have not noticed any Considerably increase in Battery life when turned on or when turned off.

Xiaomi didn't do a good job with MIUI's battery saver, but it's Kinda efficient when your battery is below 20%... you should consider making your battery percentage visible for better analysis.

the battery doesn't look faulty to me, I think the problem you're facing here is that you used the "PLUG and PLAY" technique when you got the device... take your time and go through the device's settings and disable features you don't find useful, reduce brightness a bit, check your network out/consider switching your data SIM... and lastly you used UC MINI (which is a very demanding app) for over 2 hours, so your battery is okay.
