papyjaypaul:Bro, do you think she has any comprehensive data on any girl-child issue today? ![]() They rely on old data, the ones regurgitated by the UNHR or pure 'sensational data' Nothing more. |
OgbeniOja1:I'm sure you can read and comprehend. At least they're not throwing them out on the streets to be used in baby factories or sold like mere chattels for sex slavery in North Africa and Europe. The yeye Minister in order to form woke and human rights champion refused to investigate issues properly before dabbling into them. How many baby factories has she closed down, how many (ex)prostitutes and Libyan returnees has she rehabilitated, how many orphanages or women empowerment centres has she established or funded? None. But marriage is her problem. Hypocrites. |
Edzy:I'm telling you brother. Baby factory everywhere and children being branded witches, but marriage is her problem. How many orphanages has she established, or visited and donated to? Zero! How many baby factories has she closed down? Zero! How many children branded as "witches" has she successfully saved and have the parents prosecuted? Zero! How many of our girls languishing in dingy places in Africa has she partnered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help? Zero! How many scholarships or empowerment has she significantly doled out? Zero! But this is her problem. Now that the Speaker has halted the plan, let's see the moves she makes. |
khalling2008:Madam Minister, as much as your intentions have some merit, do you have an up-to-date data on the demographic of girls across Nigeria, or you're desperately grabbing at straws in order to make headlines. Once you get those girls under the care of the ministry, do you plan to ensure all of them successfully complete higher institution. What plans do you have in place. I mean, have you as much as visited ANY orphanage home during your tenure. Also, are you telling me that had the speaker not made this move, you'd have intervened in any way or cared about those girls in the first place? The only place I'll implore the speaker to do more is - Ensure that the ones to be married are 18+ - They should be married to stable men, properly vetted by the State Government - Then he should ensure all of them complete at least secondary school education. - Then they can be equipped if they want, with skills they desire. This is how the Minister should partner with the State Government, instead of drawing unnecessary issues to herself. Madam, Nigerian children in SS and SE are being branded witches, some introduced to prostitution at an early age, yet orphans getting married is your problem. That wahala you seek, you'll find. |
Klass99:You're right on point! Some family are just too evil. Thank God for mine. Nobody is interested in dragging properties with a widow. As a matter of fact, we make it a duty to give her regular provisioning, take care of their kids, and if she's still young, facilitate her marriage to a good man. Every man who has a (good) wife should endeavor to ensure he leaves something for her and their children regardless of if she contributes or not. If you have a bad wife, consider your kids! Now that she also has her contribution in it, it is very binding on the man to ensure she's well protected and get what she deserves. God himself knows that human being are greedy and can be very wicked when given the opportunity. That's why in my religion there's a stipulated sharing formula for estates either there's a Will in place or not. He specifically promised that those who usurps a widow's right and treat her badly will get a different and the most severe kind of punishment. |
Righteousness2:Hypocrite! |
IamtheTruth1:Definitely, that's the proper way. That's why it's better your family knows who you're dating early on before it matures into something very deep. Getting married even in 4 months is not the issue, compatibility and wider familial acceptance is. I mean for God's sake, a lady as attractive as date at that age, and also in the film industry will definitely trigger a sane mind's instinct and sense of caution. For the father/family to issue a strong disclaimer against her shows they're seeing something and also know something the love struck man is not seeing. It is very likely he knows nothing vital about the lady's family. Fine face and good physique, Cole jnr is already decieved. Time will tell. The Cole Family is not the average Lagos family and will not like to stain themselves with a lady who washes her private linen outside. Unless he begs for their forgiveness and they accept her (which I doubt), the chances of the boy regretting at the end is very high. All the hypocrites coming out here and saying his and adult, it's his choice, bla bla bla... Practically none of them married without the two parents consents. But they'll come online and mislead others. https://www.nairaland.com/4615376/wofai-fada-tired-using-vibrator#69339686 https://www.nairaland.com/6546815/wofai-fada-aunty-sandra-quits#101552831 |
Yet, significant part of the populace do not have access to clean water, no public toilet system, poor hospital services and low quality public schools. Anyways, every set of people deserve their leader. This I believe. |
This time last year, these shameless Traditional Rulers collected Cadillacs worth tens of millions from the then Governor and subsequently kept mum about the killings. They refuse to speak out on the killings, they refuse to force the hand of the governor to do anything. Now the chicken has come home to roost. |
9jatriot:The comedian has never been in-charge of Ukraine from Day 1. He gets his orders and follows the script. |
Mandesz:Powerful, but can't fight it's wars alone. If that's your definition of powerful, then O don't want to be 'powerful'. Had US, UK, France, Jordan and co not intervene, Hell-Aviv would have been counting bodies and damaged buildings by now. |
Ivimmanuel:People of dogs you mean? Because a murderous, oppressive gay-loving people cannot be God's own. |
seunny4lif: ![]() |
WrriterNg:Their government is very stupid. US ass-lickers and hypocrites. What's their business with the fight? Were they blind to all what's happening. Their own is just to siddon and look. Except obviously, their government supports Israel, then their own Wahala will start internally. Because all the good people of Jordan hates oppression and will not hesitate to rally, protest and bring them down! |
The gay loving Satan worshippers in Israel and US are about to learn something new. The drones will be used to weaken the Iron Dome just in preparation for the real attack from all fronts—Iran, Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq. The hypocrites in Nigeria should keep supporting oppression. |
emmaodet:Very biased and evil. What's even more alarming is the number of biased, and very useless hypocrites in Nigeria supporting evil and oppression through and through. |
shadrach77:I saw the prediction too. It's possible, but according to the amended law, he might not be invited back into the house. Also, only a Prince(ess) who lives within the UK can become a monarch. Though anything can happen but you see him and his uncle, Prince Andrew e go hard for dem o. |
Ah. Someone here on nairaland said this o, though based on the new order of 1989. He also chipped in that Prince Williams will never be king. https://www.nairaland.com/7991936/king-charles-iii-diagnosed-cancer/3#128309420 Britain will most likely be ruled by Princess Anne or Prince Edward. Let's watch sha. Your take: @Yemmie @Sukkot |
yemmie:Hello sir @Yemmie, I find your posts quite deep. Please what's the new order of 1989. Quick Google search were bringing up a musical band. Any link or more info will be appreciated. Thanks. |
illuminutty:Ada Ameh still remains one of the best actresses to ever grace our (modern) screen. She acts with ease, professionalism and perfection, almost as if there were no cameras around. Basically, she effortlessly brings the typical life of a Nigerian suburban family to the reels. Very sad that her personal life, towards the end of her existence, was filled with turmoil.😢😢 Though, the show ought to have ended around Nov/Dec, 2022. |
Procashtips:Drug, alcohol, debt and cosmetics surgery easily finishes whatever they earn. Most no get money o. |
koyeni:You have a deep, insightful mind. That's most likely the case. The business of porn is one of the dirtiest, most dangerous and the industry is mostly populated with broken people. Compared to other industries, they have the highest suicide rate, one of the highest murder rate and also the highest drug use rate. Their careers usually lasts for 2 years. It's true that they might gain some momentary satisfaction in form of money and (sexual) attention. But in the end, they lose more than what they bargained for. The money goes, health goes, reputation goes, addictions set it, depression and drug use, shattered relationship with partners and families. Plus the lives they've ruined by enabling pornography and masturbation through the contents they produce. Many porn users might not know, a lot of those actresses are drug and disease-riddled, suicidal, and most likely faking all the nonsense they're doing on-screen. What a sad industry! Dr Gerrard@ gerrard59. What's your view sir? |
Anambra is getting there gradually. Not everyone has the mind to stomach all those things. Burial expenses should be kept as minimal as possible. Ostentatious displays does not do the dead any good and only burdens the living financially and emotionally. Of what use is borrowing money to showoff during burial? To please who? Plus it's just gross disrespect, abuse of the dead, and also prolonging of the grief of the living to keep dead bodies without burial. Grief should keep shortened anyhow possible, and not to be prolonged. |
Jewessgratitud3:Oh my God. Blue Dream!!!😚😚 It was my mom's favorite. Is it still sold around? |
Sccarrr:You took the words out of my mouth. I derive more entertainment from his rants and shenanigans than his music. |
Hello bro @Whizzdom, sorry about what you're currently facing. What you're going through is most likely a combo of self-induced and ototoxic deafness. By ototoxic, I mean drugs which can cause deafness or other ear-related problems as a side effect. You ought not to have started your work ASAP. Discontinue for at least 10days. It's your ear/hearing we are talking here! What you should do now is buy ear muffs/plugs. And if you can't afford it, use cotton wool to plug out those noise. Then go to the hospital for diagnosis. I'll post a link to my psot on a similar issue. |
Nigeria is definitely not one of P&G's strongest market. The ROI is not justifying the investment on ground. Had Nigerian been a working nation that supports it's SMEs, this is the best chance for upcoming FMCGs in the country to fill the gap. Similar issue happened in '91 during Babangida's SAP, but the business terrain then is still less stifling that what we have now. Too bad, as thousands of jobs (direct and indirect) will be lost. But who can blame the company? Companies follow profit not emotions. |
Indian Managers are result-oriented and too focused on getting the job done with the littlest of resources. To achieve this, they always tend towards micromanaging, overworking and short-changing you. And they seem quite racist while at it. An Indian fresh off the boat in Nigeria has a higher chance of being given key posts over you an experienced Nigerian. Though one area where they always shine over Nigerians is that they hardly defraud or mismanage your/their company and that's why they are the darlings of top Nigerian firms. |
Hello sir @Perfectgen, has the issue of your certificate been addressed? Based on your overall experience now, can you advise new students to take the programe? |
We hear you! I agree to her point that a top earning professional should not abandon his career to be a cleaner in Canada. He should rather seek for a dual citizenship or preferably send his family over there and then gradually plan to join them. However, an average Nigerian that has the opportunity to go to Canada should grab it with two hands, at least he has hopes to live in a sane society. She looks like a Somali-Canadian. Why didn't she stay put in Somalia? I'll not be surprised if she's from an elite family in Somalia, or she probably came to Canada by seeking asylum. Abeg shift! |
Dollyak:This is the sanest thing to do, and I'm sure many Nigerians would love to do so. But this can invite serious trouble for you. First, the Hospitals will not treat her without a police report. Secondly, if they do treat her and no relative comes forward, her bill will be pinned on you, and you will not be allowed to leave. Finally, if she dies you'll be held responsible for her death, and no amount of explanation may absolve you from the accusations on the part of the police and her relatives. Nigeria is too bleeped up. If a rich, influential and national gem like Dr. Chike Akunyili can die miserably in the open with everybody looking on and not rendering any assistance (taking him to the hospital/first aid) without the killers brought to book then know that you are on your own. So sad. |
