PoliticsRe: Buhari Backs Western Sahara On Self-determination From Morocco by Saladin25(m): 9:00am On Mar 12, 2016
SirShymexx:
Sometimes, it is always nice to read the context in which an example is made. I cited the Obama diplomatic gaffe cos what he said is right, but he went about it the wrong way, thus causing an unnecessary diplomatic row. Not comparing stories.

Is continuing a stance naij and the AU has maintained for a long time right? - absolutely yes. But is BooHarry right in coming out openly to support it right based on diplomacy and bilateral relationship between naij and Morocco, especially when he is also dealing with something similar albeit to a lesser degree on Homefront? - no.

The scenario being played out here is similar to the Kurds vs Turkey. Most Western countries support the Kurds covertly and they also have a good relationship with Turkey, hence Turkey is a member of NATO. However, they will never openly support the Kurds' right to independence and self-governance cos it will cause a massive row with Turkey.

I hope the clearer example helps since you have a problem reading in context.
That isn't a diplomacy but hypocrisy. When you are in support of something you say it out, your body language says it all.
Using western nations as an example won't make me support your stance. Western nation are the greatest hypocrites in 20th and 21st century. Buhari is a Muslim man and he won't be a hypocrite like the so called western leaders.
I understand everything you said, that is why I said you still mince words.

haha.... PMB God bless you, a leader who don't bow to pressure just to satisfy some people.

I can't believe the re.tard, GEJ, was more diplomatic in his approach than BooHarry. Now this is absolutely shocking.

Some things are right in context, but when it comes to diplomacy, there are certain ways you have to go about it not to cause a row and start something that might end up biting you in the arse.

Obama made a similar gaffe today when he was asked about how Libya turned out. Rather than embrace diplomacy to protect the "special friendship" between the US and UK, he decided to label David Cameron and the UK "free rider". If you followed the Libyan crisis, you'd know that Obama wanted no part of Libya - Hilary Clinton, David Cameron, and Nicolas Sarkozy were the ones who arm-twisted him into getting involved and overthrowing Gaddaffi. In hindsight, I believe he regrets that decision now. However, going out in public to label a next leader "a free rider" isn't the diplomatic way to go about it. And now there's a backlash, with all kinds of inconsequential MPs in the UK and France talking smack to him about the worst leader in recent history. The white house is also trying to clean up the mess he created.

Leaders need to think before they open their mouths.
Haha... you are mincing words together. What has Obama and rogue friends that invaded Libya got to do with this. The same foolish Obama you are supporting was the one saying Gaddafi must go, he is a tyrant now saying he was misinformed about Libya. I thought he is an intelligent lawyer never knew he was a dullard Lik Bush Jnr. That is by the way.

Now back to our discussion, Nigeria had been in support of Western Sahara since the 70's. A territory was shared between to nations (Morocco and Mauritania). The former uses aggression took over the latter's territory. A liberation party sprang up that they don't want to join Morocco. Seek some help from other nations and they got it. Nigeria has been supporting SADR since the 70's. If you are in support of someone you say it out not by keeping in silence. That is international politics for you. We won't change our position on this issue. Thumbs up to PMB Bleep IPOB people condemning this move.

Stop typing trash in a bid to support your slave master, when did GEJ addresses United Nation to immediately grant independence to Western Sahara and Palestine, if have any video of it or link post it.
If you have a short memory I will help you out. Buhari gave them his support in Abuja and he will address it in AU. Going back to GEJ, do you remember why the Moroccan king snubbed GEJ, it was because of he backed Western Sahara. This is the link.

Those people abusing or condemning this OP are not serious. Once The Quran and the Sunnah permits it. Who are we to judge him? If you can't do it don't criticise people that is in that line.
You that you marry a Muslim wife how are we sure your wife or husband won't leave Islam.

My Alfa married a Muslim woman from a Muslim background. She practices Islam not a Muslim by name after more than 2 decades that they got married, she Just decided she won't be practicing Islam again. My Ustaz thought it was a joke until woman now shown it to everyone that she won't practice Islam anymore. The marriage crashed.

My mum's friend an Igbo woman from a Catholic family got married to an Hausa man. The man never forced her to practice Islam. Even the husband do persuade her to go to church. After 7years they got married she reverted to Islam. Now the woman am talking about practice Islam as if she was born into a Muslim family to the extent that she talk to non-muslims about Islam.

Only Allah(SWT) guides anyone he wishes to guide and allow some people to go astray. My prayer is we should die in Islam.

If God chose them how come they get the worst treatment inside and outside Nigeria and slaughtered everyday by mallams, mai tasine, boko haram, Asian police, drugs death sentence, northerners...why don't you type IGBO drug dealers and 419 in youtube and see how god's chosen people are treated worse than other Nigerians and Africans.

Superior to who? Pal, Igbo people are mostly illiterate, no school, no proper English and only have the mind for crime...they are not superior to anyone unless you respect PETTY area boy cash by IGBO criminals. The most educated, respected and richest Nigerians are not IGBO - check it!
Lol.... you done finish them. Slaves of money. Despite engaging in drugs and illicit businesses, Yorubas and Hausas are richer than them

They know nothing but business: TRUE
Because most of the business they do are illegal, even the legal IGBO business people were criminals before making money to start legitimate ones. An IGBO is more likely to import fake goods instead of the originals because of little extra profit.
They are number one importers of contraband, fake goods, Drugs, toxic waste and contaminated substances.

All Igbo women are light skinned:
If all of them are not, they want to be but probably don't yet have the cash to achieve it. or the man to pay for it!

They love ‘Ego‘ also known as ‘Money‘:
No one on this planet apart from Jews love money more than IGBO people, they love money so much that hey are willing to die getting it.
They are known globally as "get rich or die trying". They are the only Nigerians willing to take drugs to countries like Malaysia and Thailand where the penalty is death - for ego!

It’s expensive to marry an Igbo woman:
IGBO people (and their women) are the most greedy people on the planet so of course it is expensive to marry an IGBO woman.
Many will not marry poor men unless they believe circumstances will change economically.

All Igbos have left their villages for Lagos:
The ones that are still in the village do not have the means to get to Lagos or abroad yet and they are in a holding status until they can move to Lagos or some place they can carry DRUGS to.
Guy you nailed it. Only Jews is their oga when it comes love of money, they also have this Jewish attitude, that they are God chosen and superior of all mankind.
If they don't change their attitude. They will keep having problem in this country.

Salam! pls,no one should bother saying I should end the relationship cos I have decided to take her as my wife after much considerations..........not after being with her for 4yrs+

Actually my girlfriend is igbo/Christian while am yoruba/Muslim and we have decided to leave it as it is except that our children will practice Islam which is my own religion....I would love her to convert though but I know Islam is about free will,so I will just wait for Allah to touch her while she is in my house.

Now this is where I need your advice.....
We are actually planning to get married soon and its going to be traditional and court wedding as agreed, but I don't know how I am going to balance the religion aspect at the traditional wedding since the whole thing will take place in the east. Brothers and sister, how do I stay within the tenets of Islam and at the same time not make my in-laws feel encroached? What does Islam state relating to this kind of situation? ADVICE
Bro, you can marry her since we muslim men are allowed to marry christain and Jewish woman, but the court wedding is not permitted in Islam because, court wedding is more or less like a Christian wedding. Where you can't be allowed to marry another wife because, you got married under the marriage act.

The traditional wedding can be done if you don't buy anything haram like alcohol, palm wine.
Since you both agreed that your kids will be practicing Islam, no problem. I pray Allah touches are heart to accept Islam.
Allah bless your Union.

Na them carry Drug pass. I did a research about Drug trafficking in West Africa. Nigeria and Ghana took the lead in drug trade. Southern Nigerians in Nigeria took the lead, but Igbos are the number one from Southern part of Nigeria The author of article described them to worship money, love chieftaincy title, high expectations from their parents turned many of them to slave of money. Thank God the author of that article is an European.

The same people that discriminate among themselves. Calling some people OSU. Igbos discriminate to the extent that they hate Mbiase people of Imo state. You have created stereotype among yourselves and you expect non-Igbos to like you.

I have an Ikwerre friend she dislikes Igbo like shit. You people should change your behaviours. To me I don't hate you, but hating other tribes and you expect them to like you won't happen. Life is about GIGO (Garbage In Garbage Out).

Pls mods push it to FP i need a reasonable advice ASAP!
If I should tell you my story you will marvel. I passed out from secondary in 2005. That year, some of my secondary schoolmate got admission into university. I opted for college of education in 2007, finished my NCE program in 2010, sat down for UTME same year, got admission into the university. Most of my secondary schoolmate had graduated/serving by the time I got admission into the university, but I never felt ashamed of myself. To God be the glory I am a graduate of one of the engineering discipline.

Don't feel inferior, if university doesn't workout try polytechnic or college of education, it will help you and even boost your CV though, it might be time consuming.
Wishing you best of luck. By the end of this year I want you to be in school. God bless you.
