You can get work permit visa (D visa) for Lithuania from Nigeria. The job has to be secured first and the company that employed your brother will apply for a work permit in Lithuania, the duration of the permit depends on the job contract. A mediation letter (code to submit at VFS) will be provided by the employer.

VFS offices are in Lagos and Abuja.

Canterbury:
Good evening everyone, please I know my question is a bit unrelated but I want to confirm if lithuania gives work visa. My brother got someone to help him get a work invitation in lithuania, but from my research so far I haven't seen much about work permit in lithuania, please help before we get financial committed.

Also where is the location of the VFS office in Nigeria

You can ask your school to give you a new Mediation Letter. Inform them that you just got an appointment and they will provide you with a new letter.

Dharmyye:

I was able to make a booking also for 28th of this month but I just remembered my mediation letter is valid for 30 days and that will be 23rd of this month.
Please do you know how I can go about that

It seems there's an issue with the VFS booking and payment system today. Nothing seems to be working.

Dharmyye:

Thanks for the response
Yet to get a reply from them

Experienced a similar case but my payment wasn't successful. I tried again and it says my booking has been locked but I cannot go beyond the applicant page.

Did you get an email from VFS confirming your booking or not?

Dharmyye:
Hi everyone
Please I just booked an appointment with vfs today for 28th of July and payment was made also and I was debited but got timed out. I don’t know if the date has been booked like that.
Sent an email already too

Hello guys!

I have just recently started following this thread and I'd like to ask a question to ex-Unilag students who are currently applying or already got admission and studying in Poland how you were able to get your transcript. Did you get Unilag to send your official transcript to the school admission via email or courier?

I read on the Unilag website that the transcript cannot be collected by hand, cannot be sent to students email or company/organisation but would only be sent to the official email AND/OR addresses of the Registrar/Dean of Postgraduate School of an equivalent academic institution, Professional Institutes, Scholarship Boards and Embassies.

Any ex-Unilag student here currently schooling in Poland or applying that can share?

Hello all!

Very straight forward request:

I'm looking to buy a Macbook Pro or Air (2015 - 2019)
8GB / 256GB

My budget is between 300 - 350k

Condition of the laptop must be neat, very good battery life with no or minimal scratch/dent - would be an addition if it comes in a pack.

I don't mind if anyone has deals in from any of the sites or already available in Nigeria. Kindly contact me via direct message.

Thanks.

TBH, I'm not sure about you paying another application fee, I guess that's why they provided options but I'd suggest you ask the school.

For Skype interview, I believe you will be doing another if you choose another department.

tellalexander:
Thanks for the reply, will i pay a fresh application fee, and undergo another Skype interview for another course?
Travel / Re: Lithuania Student Visa by Sam8850: 10:42pm On Dec 04, 2020
What they mean is that they didn't get enough applicants for the course hence they decided to cancel it for this int-take period.

They also gave you the option to wait and apply next year in the autumn (Sept) or you should look for other courses available at the school.

Enjoy.

tellalexander:
Hello Gurus in the house, I applied for admission to VMU but this was the reply;

You have received a reply from Vytautas Magnus University regarding [Bachelor Degree] Logistics and Commerce

We would like to inform you that unfortunately we are not meeting minimal quota of students for selected programme and it had been cancelled on first of December.
However, we can offer you:
To move your application to autumn, 2021;
to transfer you to other available study programme: www.vmu/en/studies/degree-studies/
Waiting for your answer and we apologise for the inconvenience.

Vytautas Magnus University

Kind Regards,

I AM CONFUSED PLS WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

A mail for another stage interview or job offer?

Tetratunde:
This company still sent me a mail today. So I guess they are still in business
Travel / Re: Lithuania Student Visa by Sam8850: 8:44am On Oct 15, 2020
VFS don't update the tracking neither do they send you SMS after charging applicants over N400+.

I'll advise you email and call the embassy in Turkey. Send your application number and ask them for the status of your application. You will get better information from the embassy directly as far as they received your application.

Please do come back to update us with the outcome of the online interview as I'm sure many people here are expecting to know the deal with this company.

I also did assessment test with them last month, I have been invited for an online interview. I think they are trying to get a branch office here in Lagos, hence the recruitment. they are legit as far as I am concern. Thanks

Thanks for sharing your feedback.
Please do let us know if you get the job or you get more information about the company as this will help put more light on this company.

Though I'm totally not convinced of the setting up shop because I have seen details about them on the Web with office in Ajah, Enugu or so, likewise no website for the company (really alarming for a tech firm).

In addition, their recruitment patterns are not so tailored for a tech firm, different job roles across none connecting industries. I can easily assume they are just a recruitment agency screening applicants, and if that is the case, then we'd also find out from successful applicants (till this time, no one on NL has come forth with such claims).

Thanos:
I just finished from there. It is legit. Key thing to note is all that every information you need is in their email. Read and digest every information in their mail and you're good to go.It is a residential area. I believe the company is a new tech firm that just got funding from a VC so they are literally just setting up shop in Nigeria hence the somewhat lack of organization on their part.

No one came back to provide feedback on if they got a job from this company or the outcome of the various stages of the interviews.

What I want to ask is if the company recruits for other companies or for itself?

Because with all the test invites and interviews I expect someone to have been employed and have a LinkedIn profile update connected to the company. Unless they are employing for other companies, if so someone should tell us else I'd think no-one here had been successful in the interviews.

Thanks for the answer. I'll be going for my appointment in next week. I want to make sure I check every boxes and have supporting documents to every claims.

Did you have to pay for any tour package in Turkey?

skimpy:
No I didn’t mention my visit to Estonian embassy. I simply said I was going for tourism and I checked google for places to visit in Ankara then added it to my itinerary

Travel / Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by Sam8850: 10:33pm On Mar 08, 2020
Hello, congratulations on completing this challenging journey. I would like to follow the Turkey route as well, I just have a question that I feel I need to clarify so as not to spoil my chances of securing a visa.

When you applied for Turkey visa and attended the interview in Abuja, did you mention to Turkey's embassy that you were only going to Turkey for Estonia Embassy appointment or you categorically only stated Tourism as main reason for travelling?

Anyone else who had also gone via Egypt, did you mention that you were only going to Egypt to be able to apply for RP at Estonia Embassy?

Thanks.

skimpy:
So I have finally landed in Estonia. Actually landed a week ago but couldn’t gather myself to write this message. I went through Turkey and it was quite smooth. Traveled with a child and we spent approx 1.2M for the entire process including flights and visa fees. I am certain it will be cheaper for most people because your flights can be cheaper. Our flight fees were most expensive cos I had to fly business class because of the comfort for the child. I’d itemize most of the fees I can remember.

Flight to Abuja, Uber to the visa center, $250 visa fees for 2 people and miscellaneous= 200k
Return Flight to turkey: 700k
9 nights at Hotel: 52k
Food and transport: 51k
Estonian Visa: 40k
Flight to Estonia: 212k
Total: 1,255,000

My Estonian visa was approved within 5 days. Submitted on a Monday and collected the passports on a Friday. No serious questions were asked. If you are interested in applying for turkey visa, you can reply my comment. I will write all what I went through there so that you don’t have to waste money like I did. Photocopying 1 page is 100naira there. Printing of 1 page is 1k. They just extort people a lot there.

Also, I got insurance for myself and child for 39k valid for a year.

Sam8850:
VFS Lagos and Abuja has suspended collection of visa applications to Lithuania at the moment. If you get any update on the date they reopen collections please post.

Called VFS on Friday the 28th and they said they will resume collection of new visa applications from Monday 2nd March 2020 but strictly for SHORT-TERM visas. For long term and student visas it's still until further notice.

Yes, by every chance it should be on their website but unfortunately its not as VFS didn't update their website.

I was physically there yesterday where I was informed of the collection suspension and notice pasted at the entrance.

I'm sharing here just so people outside Lagos won't travel and discover the same situation. If I hear anything new I'll update, likewise I need to submit my application ASAP.
