I called her and her number has been switched off for a long time. I tried to reach with her daughter, she said her phone was spoilt. It was after she died I learnt she was in the hospital for 1 and a half years. Few days before she died, I called her and her voice was very frail. I didn't even know she was in the hospital. When I asked her daughter she said she didn't want her family to know she was ill . the very day I came back from work and opened the fridge to microwave my soup and eat before going to the hospital was when my phone rang. Lo and behold, it was her daughter that called me that she just died few minutes ago.i froze there were I was standing. I couldn't move. Since then I knew brez cancer is not a thing to joke with
