VISA! VISA!! VISA!!! Online application (Standard)3rd December 2020.Biometrics done 14th December,2020 and then the most frustrating wait ever began.Got a non straightforward mail on the 8th January 2021.mailed them the following week and my application was escalated but days later nothing was forthcoming and so i emailed again.Again,nothing!Got a second non straightforward mail on the 22nd of January and immediately got another email that an ECO had requested an interview with me scheduled for 28 of January.On the said day,a call came in around 12noon and i was GRILLED for almost 2hours.I was asked all the questions of this world and was at a point asked to even SPELL the name of my chosen school.It was HELLISH but i managed to keep calm and answer the different questions as best as i could.Yesterday the 2nd of feb i got a decision and collection mail both from tls.went there this morning..lo and behold my Visa was waiting.declared one uk refusal and one usa refusal.declared the countries i have been to and didnt lie in my application.my one cent to anyone applying is STAY CLEAR of standard applications if you no get mind.it was a very trying and frustratin period.All thanks to GOD ALMIGHTY and to everyone here on the platform.you guys are the real MVPs.WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST TRULY!!!

Hello guys, my sister got a collection mail today, there's nothing in the mail showing if the visa was approved or not. Is this normal?
Also the application tracker shows "at decision Centre"

Is there a way to upgrade to priority after paying the IHS fees and VISA fees, but I've not gone for biometrics.

I applied yesterday when news was that priority was cancelled, and now it's back on.
Is there a way around it please? Thank you

Please who has an idea IOM medical certificate from Isaac John Ikeja? I have been trying to call them and even emailed...no response. Do I just go ahead and pay? Cos I need the result for my Visa application in January

Probably keep checking the list of approved visa. . Hopefully your visa will be among those approved next.

So, I got my Visa approved today. I applied last year and was rejected but was told I could appeal. I did this and with the help of Icas and most especially God, I appealed the decision and today, my visa was one of those on the approved list.

I am awaiting the reopening of our international flights and will be in Ireland when school resumes in September. My advice is to put God first and seek the counsel of experienced people on the forum. I pray that we are all favoured in the coming weeks

Just be patient, probably its cos of the ‘said’ technical challenge they are having. I wish u a favorable decision.

Meanwhile when did u apply?
