Samgrguc try and pass jamb and enter school oh instead of participating in elders talk. @ least I have a salary no matter how modest and was a high jamb scorer. Don't rush into matters you have no clue.
I use to hear that not all who went to school are psychologically fit, don't make me feel and belive av seen 1. Yes, I told you I applied for JAMB this year but did you boder to ask if I was admitted? All you could say was that I shud try and pass JAMB and enter school. Are u sure u really went to school? I asked cos I know that any1 who have schooled in NAIJA knows that, b4 now UTME result shud be out and many admission lists been released.

Don't make me think they are right.

joshuapharm: About the other thread where I spoke about pharmacy training more expensive than medicine. You can like to go back there and reread what I said and don't let ur rage and greed take hold of you again. The reason we have countless medical schools in naija and just 13 pharmacy schools is because of how expensive it is to run a pharmacy school unlike medical school. I met an IT student from unilorin, she said she hs not done complexometric and some other titration because they didn't av the reagents and stuffs(not to discredit the skul tho, but to drive home my point). Even lautech sef get school of medicine. *spits*
No wonder I found it difficult to get a suitable university of my choice to apply for Pharmacy while I was filling the JAMB form early this year, that I almost applied Medsurg.
Pretty when you see some posts its best to pass bye. Anytime anyone insult doctors or demean their role you health workers are quick to take sides with them. An example is the semi-luny called Fejiro Oliver typing all sort of hate posts and derogatory write ups about doctors. How many health workers stood up and told him he had gone beyond his boundaries, in fact he was congratulated on the comment page. This page is actually on ARD strike I wonder what you kids in Pharmacy and Nursing are doing here if you aint MBBS. And about inferiority, get a life is my response. Blessings!
It seeming you will never change.

Why wouldn't they(Nurses & Rx) be here? Isn't here about a health practioner on strike? And aint they also health practioners?
Bros, you just need to respect other profession o cos to them they are also holding a GOLDEN CUP. . . . Or you wouldn't progress meaningfully.
The conclusion is that Pharm Josh is an inferior soul selling wrong info to gullible Nigerians who hardly do their own research. I salute you for going to research further. Am @ work now, once I get back I'll inform us why medicine is about the most respected course on earth and the link from premedevial, medevial and modern times. Only physicians and theologians where given the rights to be called doctors. Its semi recent (less than 2 decade ago other folk started bearing doctors). Docs keep your head high and avoid the band wagon of health appendages selling cheap crap to the gullible masses.
Must you point accusing fingers?
HealthRe: Nation Wide Strike By Resident Doctors From 1st October by Samgreguc(m): 5:27pm On Oct 18, 2013
The Pharm Josh should just muscle up courage and read wikipedia or any encyclopaedia, Apotheracist is more of the history of pharmacy not medicine. Apothecarists dispensed drugs for physicians and surgeons. Not that apotheracists became physicians. They actually became pharmacists. Pharmacy remains a boring course, that's why they have left their jurisdiction and are trying to trouble physicians. I would rather be a lab scientist doing something than a pharmacist being paid for nothing and struggling with doctors. God bless medicine.
first and foremost, I will like to say thank you for making me go into a research that opened my eyes.
I went to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/apothecary , and guess what? I got to understand that:
1. The apothecarist became pharmacist. -paragraph 1 of reference.
2. That the difference between the old name(Apothecary) and the new name(Pharmacy), is that those who practised the former offered(in addition to Pharmacy responsibilities) general medical advice and a range of services that are now performed solely by other specialist practitioners, such as surgery and midwifery.-paragraph 2 of reference.
NB: They also dispenses to patient- paragraph 1 of source.
Don't forget Apothecarist became Pharmacist

What is your conclusion?

PoliticsRe: ASUU Rejects N600 Billion Offer by Samgreguc(m):
Well, at a time I supported FG; at a time I also supported ASUU. But, now am supporting no one.

TO THE FG:
Yes, the industrial strike have been politicised, probably by opposition but, then, the government should try find a way to settle them and declare state of emergency in the educational sector-agreement is agreement-Mr. GEJA you were the Vice of the country when the agreement was made in 2009 and you were the President when the MoU was also signed in 2012. Sorry, you(GEJA) are very unlucky to witness this in your tenure.

and TO ASUU:
O yes, it was an agreement but, for the sake of the students(esp. those in their finals), please call off the strike nøt that you are weak but, for the interest of the students since, you claim to feel for them(students).

We want the strike called off please . . . . .

bumfem: @chuksbogus...WELL SAID and kudos. @Lalaamed, u are being economical with the truth here. @all...Physicians ought to play a leading role in patient's management by virtue of the fact that they are in most cases the gate keepers in health care but that is being basterdized in Nigeria. Physicians now turned themselves to administrators in our hospitals. They want to be the CMD/MDs, the head of clinical services, the Director of almost anything leaving their primary duty which is care for the patient.
Health care across the globe is now thru inter-professional collaborations. A patient with stroke got to see the physician to stabilize the blood pressure and other systemic problems and physician does this by consulting the pharmacy on appropriate medications and dis-pension......samples are sent to the lab Scientist for investigation......consults are forwarded to the Physiotherapists for NeuroRehab...... and in a very organized health facilities Social workers and many other health professionals are called to make input in other to ensure effective healthcare.
The old message that physician does it all is a fallacy.NMA/NARD should bow their heads in shame for leading a system that has gone crippled due to ego and greed.

UK got it right long ago:Where Nursing practitionals are licenced to see patients on first contact and other health professional of MSK like Physiotherapists are now on first contact hot line in all hospitals........Canada has copied this laudable ideal so their citizens can enjoy emergence of healthcare policies that are efficient ,effective and cheaper. While we play the game of ego, the world has gone very far.
The earlier we forget our diff the better for us and the NATION.
