I spent just a minute with the broader officer who attended to me.

Him: why did you come to the UK
Me: for postgraduate studies
Him: Your school
Me: I told him
Him: your course
Me : I told him
Before saying my course he stamped my passport and say have a nice stay in the UK.

Hi everyone. Please my application moved to VAC today without any mails from UKVI or TLS.
I didn’t get any mails after the notification from TLS that it had been sent to DMC. I’ve had to refresh my tracker daily. Should I be worried?

Go for Netherlands Schengen. They typically give one year multi-entry. It starts counting from your intended travel date. Some other countries only give 3months single entry.

if you are a 1st timer going to Leeds.
Your best bet is to land at Manchester airport. From the airport there is a bus terminal, National express manchester airport you can take a bus from Manchester airport to Leeds bus station. When the bus drops u, use your uber app and book taxi from bus station to your accommodation in Leeds or you take a taxi - a1 brighouse (used to charge 70-80 pounds to leeds) from Manchester airport straight to your accommodation in Leeds.
If you land at heathrow or gatwick you must then take train or bus down to leeds. They are miles apart and that’s what accounts for the extra money. Coming as a 1st timer and with luggage, trains are not easy to maneuver. Before u know it you have missed your train and lost money.
The good thing about all airports is you dnt have to leave the airport to find your movemnt, trains and bus terminals leave from airports directly, so plan accrdingly

My final destination is Leeds. I know it's closer to Manchester. However, I'm seeing a price difference of almost 200k. Also, it's way more expensive to land at Heathrow than Gatwick. I just want to be sure it's okay to land at Gatwick over Heathrow. I don't mind taking time for such amount of reduction in expenses.
Please advise better.

My MIL did her biometrics on the 28th of April, just did a paid call now and was told decision has been made.
I don't even know how long before she receives her passport

How do you write your proposals? Copy and paste or bespoke?

It is harder to land gigs on Upwork now and most niches are saturated, with Nigerians not being top-pick, let alone a beginner.

However, if you veer into unsaturated niches, you would have less competition and better chances.

Always set up multiple measures on your bank accounts. Apart from pins and passwords, always use your token and or otp to validate all transactions ranging from those as small as purchase of data and credit to transfers of any amount.
Also don't store your card details on apps that go online, always use the virtual bank transfer option provided by wema.
If you still have access to this bank account please go and change all of your banking passwords because its obvious your account has been compromised.

My brother, you should have known by now that Nigerians in general and nairalanders in particular hate doctors. Any issue that want to paint doctors in a bad light, dey rush to argue ignorantly.
Your submission on this matter shows someone that reasons well and that you are a colleague.
I served in a rural community in Benue state and I can tell you that the number of quacks in that state is more than registered practitioners dere.
They have a lot of school of health that train people in CHEW & JCHEW. These students assume themselves to be doctors and nurses.
While the male ones answer doctors, the females are seen as nurses.
When they attend clinical attachments in hospitals, they strive to learn how to cut. And once dey graduate, they enter the villages and open their clinics and start this unholy practice.
Wetin my eyes see for Benue, if I'm telling the story people doubt me

This incident happened in my area where I live and work.The so called"Doctor"isn't anything close to a doctor.He is rather a community health worker.Here in Benue state even a patent medicine operator is labeled and called a doctor by our people.Often times, the so called doctors perform all kinds of medical operations

Some of these so called doctors operate like carpenters, always cutting to join.


Sometimes you begin to wonder what the regulatory body (MDCN) do to checkmate and assess the intellectual capacity of these medics, once they grant them their license, they forget about them which is not suppose to be so.


Sometimes I begin to align with BMC and Tinubu urchins on why their principles will never take panadol produced in Nigeria talk more of having a bed rest here.
