GodwinBC: God will do yours too. I went on bookings website and searched for an apartment around my school vicinity. They provide various payment options out of which I selected pay on arrival. Then they issued booking reservations and receipt. You can check it out at bookings.com Thank you very much I will try it now |

Fardowsa: good morning everyone, so i just got my gcms notes last night and its pretty much what was in my refusal letter
i am going to reapply very soon, pls just put me in your prayers. and to those who got their PPR letters already, congratulations. For us still trying. May God make it easy for us.
Also how can i open the application forms on my chromebook. it keeps on saying the form is for adobe on windows or mac. pls help me Thank you Amen. Don't worry dear everything is under control I was also refused on the same grounds as you, the onus lies on us to prove beyond reasonable doubt the source and availability of funds. Adobe gave me issues too so I opted for the new portal since there's no need to fill anything using adobe. The only issue with the new portal is the size limit for document upload is 2mb, if you can successfully merge your documents to 2mb or less you can give it a shot. |

thoughts anyone? Samlolly28: Hi guys, my application was denied about a month ago solely on the grounds of insufficient funds and financial assets. Before I got denied I ordered my gcms note which just arrived today. Through the help of show young and others that aired their opinions I saw exactly what I did wrong. My dad was my sponsor and the total money in the two bank accounts he presented was about 3 million short of what it needed to be. My mistake was thinking I could use his fixed deposit investment worth over 30 million as POF. I also didn't provide my bank statement I have been told this is not enough to lead to denial but if your application has some loopholes then not having at least some funds in your account raises a red flag for the visa officers.
Sadly I reapplied yesterday but what I did differently even before seeing the gcms notes was I allowed the investment mature and got a statement immediately the funds matured to capture the 30m from the fixed deposit in his bank account together with about 8m he had combined in his two bank accounts before. He also transferred 3.5m to my account which I presented a gift deed, bank statement and receipt to attest that the money was for my living expense for the first year in Canada. I made sure I explained the fixed deposit investment very well how my dad got the money and showed the investment certificates for all the months within the duration of bank statement I sent to the embassy unlike my first application I only submitted the investment certificate of the month before date I submitted.
Please guys let me know what you think. |

Yes my dad is retired tho he has several houses he built that he collects rent on while he receives a pension of over 1m from the government. I added his pension ID card and pension payslips for 4 months. Like you advised I will have him transfer my one year living expense to me backing it up with a gift deed. What I intend to do differently: 1) Liquidate about 5-10m from his fixed deposit account in addition to the amount I he already has in his account and address any lump some in my LOE 2) Break down my funds in my LOE and talk in depth about my dad's source of income 3)Book a return ticket and add it to the documents I'll upload. I am very positive I'll get PPR speedily on reapplication. I await input from others. amila20042001: Is your dad still active in service or does he have his own business? You need to show the source of the POF you provided. Also, from what you wrote, you didn't present your personal statement of account, from what I have seen so far, it's a turn off for VOs.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO WHILE YOU WAIT FOR YOUR NOTES TO ARRIVE!!!
1. complete the first year tuition (the remaining 4200$ about 1,400,000) 2. Have your dad transfer living expense to your personal account (10,000$ about 3,300,000) and back it up with a gift deed 3. If your dad has a business, in ur LOE, say you are a supervisor in the business and back it up with some docs (after all you're supposed to be helping out in a family business). Anyways this depends on the course you intend studying. 4. Next application show your dad's pay slip (4 months) and/or business receipts or invoices 5. Include you account statement in your next application. MY TAKE, GURUS ARE FREE TO CONTRIBUTE |

Apart from the 9 million I showed a fixed deposit of 30m. I guess what I will do next is have my dad liquidate say 5-10m from his fixed deposit and explain the lumpsum. Adding that to the pre-existing amount in his account It would convict the VO. I'll also have him transfer my living expense for a year to my account. My question now is when i'll be submitting my new application will I submit the same documents I did the first time or only LOE tackling refusal reason and updated bank statements? ShowYoung: Without having seen your GCMS notes, I can see the exact reason why your application was refused; although GCMS notes is the best source. This is my thought and may be incorrect.
Required Expenses Tuition fee for 2 years $22,400. Living Expenses (2 years) $20,000. Miscellaneous Expenses $3000. TOTAL : $45,400. (#15,075,000 @$1/335)
Total Amount shown: Tuition Deposit $7000. (#2,345,000) Dad's Account #4,000,000 Dad's Account #5,000,000 TOTAL: #11,345,000. You may still need approximately #4,000,000 more.
Also, the onus is on you to convince the VOs that your Dad has no responsibility on anyone else and that the funds are meant for you.
I strongly believe they wish to approve your visa; in your next application, if you are able to address the concerns raised with the financial analysis above, your visa application will be approved by God's grace. |

Yes I added his pension account. I doubt there was any lumpsum but I'll check if there was any within that timeframe. Hafeez6948: Sorry about your rejection, dont give up . When your gcm notes arrive analysis it and reapply. Did you add your dads salary account or pension statement and did you explain lumpsome deposit if any |

Thanks bro. I will surely do that and post the gcms notes here when they arrive. I don't know why but I am very positive when I tackle the refusal reason I will be granted PPR speedily. ShowYoung: Sorry to hear this. Kindly wait for you GCMS notes so as to have a bird-eye view of the exact cause of the refusal. |

Thank you very much amila. I am 25 years old, single and I am being sponsored by my dad. My tuition fee is 11,200 CAD per year (2 years course) and I paid 7,000 CAD for the first semester. I presented 2 of my dad's account 5m and 4m respectively and also 3 of his landed documents (mostly houses he built and rented out) backed up with affidavits stating I am his next of kin and sometimes help in managing those properties cos of he's growing old. I Finished NYSC in April currently unemployed . amila20042001: Sorry to hear this! Are you self sponsored? How much is ur tuition and how much deposit did you make? How much did you present as POF? Are you married? Did you present any landed property? Do you have a business or you are gainfully employed? Answers to theses questions and many more can help provide clue on how to handle your reapplication, while you wait for your notes to arrive. |
