@candymann initially tbc was interfering with ntv. But I blindscaned recently and I have the two now as different channels. Tbc 11713 and ntv 11717 same symbol rate and polarity. Try it out

your post is not clear. Is it  that you have tracked w3a and you are not receiving mbc? If yes what dish size and what freqs are you receiving? What is your present signal level?

all the satellites i posted are available on 2.4m dish and sats like nilesat, hot bird, eurobird will come on 2.4m

TRACKING W3A MADE SIMPLE.
1. Locate a dstv dish near your area as that will give the idea of where yur EAST is . NOTE that dstv is on w4/7. Start by tracking w4/7 with 11940 H 27500, put yur lnb at 9 0'clock.
2. When u have tracked w4/7, hold yur dish in place and input  Sirius 4 frequency 12605 V 29950 . Standing in front of your dish, Lift your dish up to face the sky and down while you move slowly to the left of dstv dish. When you get Sirius 4 hold your  dish there and input this 12728 V 30000, for w3a and bring your dish down slightly and bring it back to your right a little . Just work around Sirius 4 for w3a. The sat will turn green , then blind scan or use lyngsat to add other channels
But for those in port harcourt , try this method in opposite direction.

NB your lnb skew affect the polarity of this sat a lot. If you skew your lnb at 6 o'clock your polarity is H and if your lnb is at 9 or 3 o'clock , your polarity is V.

Getting metro tv with 1m dish is possible. In fta nothing is impossible. someone on this forum once used 90cm to pick some c band TPs on nss7.
On my 1.8m Motorised the signal is about 80%. So give it a shot and let the house know your findings. Metro tv is cband so you will have to get a cband lnb holder for your dish. Cheers

Used 36inches jack. The advantage is that european beams of sats came on with high signals

I confirm that badr5 is available on small dishes. I got it with a 75cm dish yesterday and was able to get it with astra2b on one dish

with a dish of size 75cm astra2b and badr came with single lnb. The signal strength for both is around 70%

Take extreme care when connecting your positioner with the jack, any mistake could damage the reed sensor in the jack.
Here are simple steps to take.
1. Get telecom cable with 4 wires of diferrent colour code in it.
2. Study carefully the back of your positioner, you will see M1 and M2; then SENSOR 1 AND 2.
3. Again, study carefully the instruction label pasted inside the jack cover. You will see M1 and M2; sensor 1, 2
4. Now use the colour code to connect the wires. For example, if you put red wire on M1 on the jack, then red wire at the other end MUST go to M1 on the positioner.
