am waiting for responses

@All
i use strong 4651x. just press 6969 twice and gbam you are there. my system has the 1.71p software. i think anyone that use 6969 to open etv should be able to open mytv africa as well.
Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Official Thread of Free To Air Satellite TV (Part 2) by sammu(m): 11:19am On Jan 14, 2009

@ALL,
I want to confirm that SIRIUS4 can be received with 60cm dish. I tracked it with a 60cm dish this morning at about 7.45am nigeria local time. RDV--84%(_still srambled); equinox--82%; canal2inter--76%; stv-- 84%

@PITODENZ
the station mytv put on nagra was opened by my 4653x. my 4651x which i purchased from the same mytv dealer did not open it. Do you have any clue to this?

@ENITAN
i sent an email. You have not replied.
WELCOME TO LAGOS O

@bodejohn,
am with you all the way on . the 60cm dish issue. I studied the lynsat map closely yesterday and i think the sirius bird can be ttracked with a 60cm dish. As for me, i use a 60cm dish for NSS7 and since stv and RDV are no longer there my next stop is sirius 4
W ith some patience, we should be able to track it with 60cm dish.
Another important thing that we often overlook is the QUALITY of our lnb. for instance if you are using a strong ku lnb, you may not achieve results. From what i've learnt on this forum, 0.2db lnbs are better than 0.3db etc.

@all
it will be highly appreciated if members with good knowlegde of lnbs recommend to us siutable lnbs for best reception on ku dish

@enigma
thank you sir, for pointing the sirius bird to us. Keep discovering. WELLDONE JARE

@enitan
i can see you've become FTA PROPHET. More anointing jooooooo

To track w3A is as easy as any other ku sat receivable in W. Africa. From what pitodenz and enitan posted in season 1, I ve been able to track w3a in Lagos and Port Harcourt without any difficulties at all.

Here is what you should do.
1. make sure theres no obstruction to your east.
2. use 90cm dish or more not less.
3. when standing your dish hangar, make sure it is at angle 90 or tilting slightly upwards to your west not sloping downwards to your east.
4. set your lnb to 9 oclock position while you face your dish.
5. first track w4(as reference point), then input the free2view frequency( I’ve successfully tracked with it as it turns green immediately you get the sat)
6. move your dish a little to the right of w4 and stop, raise your dish up to the highest facing heaven. Keep movin (azimuth)and raising the dish(elevation). Try both the right and left of w4. am very sure youwill catch the bird.
7. when you’ve tracked the bird, then proceed to input other freqs. Look for the weakest signal, adjust your lnb skew and align your dish to get high signal
This is my experience with w3a and hope you will find it useful

@waterflood
what exactly is the problem? is it that you have w3a set up already and Go africa is not coming up? are you using a 90cm dish or less?

I tracked w3a in portharcourt on thursday and my Go africa is 60%.
