My car has been jacking forward and backward for few days now because of the malfunction of the socket around the injector mouth(Corolla 04).However,since we couldn't find the socket alone,I had to buy another injector mouth...I have as at this morning changed the injector mouth twice in 3 days. The one changed yesterday worked and I was so happy;with the car response so perfect, only for me to wake up today and discovered that the socket isn't working again when we checked it...and the shaking has started again....Please,Mechanics and Rewires in the house, what else should I do?Do I return the complete Injector mouth again or what please? |

coker007: A lot of you here are trying to be logical which is good ....... I understand. Lemme clear up something first
1. If you know beckley estate you'd know agbe road and if you know agbe road you'd know you wouldn't have to pass express or iju. Even if you don't know agbe road, Google map wouldn't lead you straight down the express it would divert you towards agbado ijaiye road or fadina coker or beckley estate even.
2. She wasn't the one that ordered the ride her friend did if not i wouldn't have come here asking for his number (the friends number hasn't been going through)
3. She be 17 when you were 17 na all the road you know for lagos?.....you know where you're coming from and you know where you're going to is different from you know the road to where you're going to.... you follow?
4. And the case of being locked outside i just passed beckley estate around past 11 on Tuesday soooo..... Before you'd say there are two phases i dropped someone at phase 2
5. No one said he didn't do his job, but then he decided to do his job with greed too much greed infact..... If he knew beckley closed gate at 9 he wouldn't be going through iju for any reason cuz he'd know there's hold up there g-map would let you know that i mean trip started since 5:30 c'mon?!!!
If you feel this type of thing is too random and irrelevant for you kindly skip. I'm just being defensive of my sister and i want to know what he extorted her for that's why i asked for his details because the thing they pain me and i no too like to dey write epistle. If you have info kindly email ☺ The fact of the matter is that the driver did his job;picked the rider and dropped the rider at the expected destination. It took you around 48mins to get to where she was dropped, should the driver have waited for those 48mins after the trip has ended? Let's be reasonable please.I am not after the hiking of the price, let the driver's conscience be the judge of that...but concerning leaving the rider at her EXPECTED destination is the right thing to do....Like someone rightly said, was her age written in her face?My question is,why didn't she pick a more safe period to go out?You need to be objective in judging a situation like this....and should someone give you the contact of the driver now, will you send soldiers to beat him at home or what? Instead of getting this emotional because it's your sister, you should focus more on counselling your sister against making some of the errors made that day, like not having enough money while going out,not planning her movement very well and not thinking about her own safety....but truth be told,NONE OF THIS IS THE DRIVER'S FAULT.... #JUSTANOPINION |

AdesuyiVictor: Really?
Okay guys, I need to be clear...
Is remittance of 49K impossible in Lagos?
I need an understanding of this... You don't want to commit yourself to an agreement you will regret sooner than expected.....don't out of "need" commit yourself to a lifestyle of stress and compulsion....Other people's experiences may be your best teacher if studied carefully...YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE AN IDEA HOW THE POTENTIAL CAR WOULD RESPOND TO YOUR "PROMISE"....WATCH YOUR MOUTH..... #justanopinion |

Felicity0001: I don't think I understand what you're trying to explain in your 2nd and 3rd paragraphs. But what I think you mean is the rider should make sure the GPS location on their phone is one so that everything will synchronise accordingly.
Many a time I've seen where riders would want to make request and will not border to turn on their GPS location weather they're ignorant of it ooh I don't know...now they'll begin to complain the map is not bringing their location, this is the reason to wrong PU address we drivers experience most times.
So in an ideal condition a request is meant to come to the closest driver to the rider, you don't need any technical approach to this. I have no idea how the algorithm works, but every experience I've had with a rider requesting me in my car,the ride has always been given to me on Bolt, both on the Mainland and Island....So,reading about such closest ride being given to another driver sounds strange..... |

Pearl1910: Your choice of car will not stand the test of time in this business as per durability and cost of maintainance, even though it is fuel economical. If u don't like Toyota, then u can do Honda Civic 2003-2008 or an earlier Hyundai e.g 2003-2010, even your peogeot can fly provided it's more than 2003 and engine size isn't more than 2.0
If u don't really know the way, google map, drivers app and riders direction will help you get around.
All the best The first error of his post is that he already has a distaste for Corolla product which should by good business means be 2 or 3 of the 5 cars. How can you dislike something very important,a tool economical enough to make running your business easy, and you're seeking business advice? If you go ahead and buy 5 Elantras for drivers to drive for you on Uber/Bolt,good luck sir....If you hate Corolla, keep the hatred...avoid it for your personal use...but if it is one of the best products to generate you good profit and peace of mind, then, set your dislike for it aside and let objectivity to your business success guide you. Thanks |

kanuisagoat: You just have to be more careful at some places like Yaba. Watch the way vehicles are parked before you enter any street and the direction vehicles are moving. Ask your rider if you're not too sure. Also, in my experience(I may be wrong, its only my 4th month on ehailing) Google map will not take you through a one way route.
As for hypemiling, its a driving technique aimed at reducing fuel economy to the barest minimum. You can read up on Google.
And for some reasons I don't know, most ladies are always in a hurry. Someone is always somewhere waiting for them, disturbing them with calls asking where they are.
So when you're with those kind of riders forget about hypermilling else you won't last one week on bolt. Don't be too confident about Google map oooooo...it would take you thru one way in Shomolu area oooo...and it does that with confidence;just don't know why. So,the best option still remains:paying careful attention to the direction of the vehicles at the junction as well as analysing the way vehicles are parked. As for burning fuel around:study the environment where you park.As you drive each day, study locations where riders come out in the morning, such as estates and residential areas and study where rides are needed to pick up students from schools in the afternoon...then move away from traffic jammed areas in the evenings so you can cover more spaces and maximize everything..... #justfrommypersonalexperiences |

Crvrider: Boss, I read the thing and I was doing a rough math in my head. Though I won't compare my engine size with that of a corolla but 3k capital to make 12k-13k, that is blood money na. For me I start with 2k and that gives me roughly 6k+ then I just continue to top as I work setting aside the 2k I initially started work with for the following day. Making money on Bolt in Lagos at present has a lot to do with DRIVING SMART than just burning fuel around. With a Corolla '05,you can make more than 13,500 with 3k fuel....speaking from personal experience. #justmypersonalopinion |

It's a candid opinion;I really don't see anything wrong in this...and the price analysis could help the potential buyer in being very cautious..... Babadee1900: I started my comment with “personally”.....
If the number plate on that car is first used on it and not transferred then that’s a 7-8 years used car in Naija, the body has been filled could be more than once even.
With the way an Nigerian abuse their vehicles, you can’t tell me this one is exempted until proven otherwise.
Yes I won’t buy it above 800k! |

babystathopoulos: KALAN or whatever his/it real name is, is a silly confused mo.ron, how dare him blame the disorganization and unimaginable stress of Saturday's CBT exams on the applicants, just like his mentor/father Mr Abba moro(minister of interior) a true professional MO.RON who also blamed his stupidity and criminality on the applicants and those who died(may their soul RIP) during the immigration test this year.
After thousands paid N22,000+ for the unilag form, it took that about 2 months to sell the form, obviously they were more interested in the money. Anyway it still wouldn't have cost them more if it was well planned since they are very aware of the large no. of applicants that purchase the form. My unanswered questions to them are;
1. why would they be so dumb to put MBA, MSc of different specialty in business administration and others in one day? this is where the highest percentage of the applicants are, what stops them from spreading the exams for a week or so?
2. how come many applicant complained of difficulties loggin in with their username and password "invalid code"? i am not talking about the general server issue (am not daft as them), but that was purely a terrible job done which might have been the result of too many quacks at their IT/ ETC, it took them almost an hour to resolve each person's case
Inshort am not typing this because of unilag postgrad mgt catastrophe, BUT you Kalan coming here to type bullshit to support them (who bloody cares if the Dean or VC apologized even if they did that naked) besides i didn't heard or see them.
@Kalan i truly feel sorry for you cos you worthless as your past questions and answers on this saturday exams. Before the exam when i went through your answers to the past questions you sold and discovered couple of false answers/wrong calculations (you know you cannot deny that) i didn't want to come here to complain about it, i felt pity for a hungry frustrated business dude and i let it pass.. but after seeing your recent post, still deceiving others to rely on the past questions and typing trash after the saturday catastrophe Ah!
Now it just occur to me that you're not just a low class slowpoke But SICK really sick person. You need HELP Kalan, if you don't get help soon, You are going to live a miserable life as a sick Scam, all the money you have and will ever make are going to be spent trying to tightened the loosen nuts in your head - oh don't take this the wrong way, i am not swearing or cursing you honestly, but it's just an unavoidable FATE that would befall you IF and only IF...... Be warned Tamper judgement with mercy...Yeah,being affected by the Bleep-ups on Saturday, I'd expect you to even be angrier. Forgive this Kalan guy,he really doesn't have the slightest understanding of what really happened to cbt applicants that day. |
