to whom it may concern is fine

verocharles:
Can I address letter coming from my company to EA or DIBP as "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN". I don't want my direct Head of Department and Human Resources manager to know about my migration to Australia. Please can I use "TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN" or I must address it to EA/DIBP direct.

bros, i salute.
NNBB2012:

You guys are doing amazing things by pointing people in the right direction on this forum. I really appreciate your effort.

Just to say this that DIBP website is not the final authority when it comes to Australia migration. As a matter of fact, registered agents don't refer to it. Legislative Acts, regulations, instruments and policies are the final authorities of which public don't have access to.

As per the issue in contention whether "Petroleum Engineer and other occupations" have been added to MLTSSL or not.
Just to clarify this authoritatively, It has NOT been added to MLTSSL available to those who want to apply through GSM path. If you are applying for any GSM (General Skilled Migration e.g 189,489 visa etc )occupations, you can only nominate occupation which in this legislative instrument:

https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2017L00850

With respect to the occupation MLTSSL list that DIBP refers to on their website that includes "Petroleum Engineer", you can only use that if you are being sponsored for 186 (Employer nominated visa) or 457 (4years-MLTSSL or 2years-STSOL ).

https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Skills-assessment-and-assessing-authorities/skilled-occupations-lists/combined-stsol-mltssl

Don't make the mistake of assessing your occupation as a Petroleum Engineer hoping to be invited for any GSM visa; It is a waste of money. I would advise you should consider other options that will lead to PR.

Hello everyone

Please, i did an assistant, I did my skills assessment with Engineers Australia but I got banned for 12 months, for plagiarism, I did write every thing myself and used an online software to check for plagiarism, still was a negative outcome with it. please, any suggestions on what step to take, please. Can I still redo the assessment after the 12-month ban. Please, your humble suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks a lot
@sikiy3, if indeed u wrote d career episodes yourself, them no suppose ban u. and when they threatened you with a ban, y u no rebuff them or challenge them to prove that indeed it was plagiarized. abi u no pay money for this thing? cos i know d money no b small money. when ur ban is over, u can re-do. d question just seems somehow overall. other more experienced folks will comment on the matter.

Hi Jewel,

can u give me the link to the school you did your certification program. i want to do the same program as well. Thanks. their name and number or contact person will do just fine. thanks again.
JewelStone:

I like this sort of questions; apt and sensible. Master of social work is an excellent course, and WSU is a better Uni than ACU. It's better to start the disability course when you get here and you still need it despite the social work program cos the disability jobs require Cert III & IV not degree. Cheers

sammywemmy, inspiring story you got up there. I caught the wind of your movement from my "whistle blower" just yesterday, so I was late in contacting you. I pray your centuries in the land will be positively memorable.
Chief bellong, I sight you here sir, good morning. bellacious want to know if she should get SA state nomination (489), since they are somehow fast, or try luck with NT (190) where she might still end up getting 489 cos of their notoriety with giving 489( from our discussion ni oooo, I no be winch).

mamajaz, thanks a lot. na real 'whistleblower'. may your hustle be successful as well.

Good morning all, got into Sydney yday. What a trip. Left Lagos Monday evening, got in here Wednesday morning. Local times. An eye opener, especially passing thru Dubai Intl airport. First time outside d country (Ghana no join for outside d country). Still dazzled. The trip was a humbling and exciting one.
Travelled with my infant daughter. Next time I will pay attention when her mom is preparing her meals. Make we leave dat matter for middle.
A sea of whites, especially dat connecting flight from Bangkok to Sydney. Only blacks on d flight. So obvious.
Careful how u package ur food items especially, check ur fishes and remove d gills, dont allow insects in. Border control spotted these in two of d food items on me.
@Joy, so sorry for d mix up. Two days away and confusion over payment. You are scared of losing ur funds.totally understandable. I can vouch for them. I got my funds from them. A lot. So reach me via email or WhatsApp.
Folks, Pls continue d hustle and come over. I am going to start all over again , but E go pure. Baba God go carry us up.
Still in rest mode, daughter has seen her mom and has been fed well. Na ac weather all day for here So far.
Dats all folks, as things unfold I will pour Dem here.

For the past month and half, I have been sending direct bank deposit from OZ to banks in Nigeria(Diamond, Zenith and First bank...in fact the rate was the same in all banks) and it was between 260-262 per $1 AUD. Then 2 weeks ago it dropped to 258 naira/dollar. 2 days ago it was 259 Naira/1 AUD

It will be rough initially..but I promise you, it will be worth it. Australia truly is an amazing country cool. Oh forget about racism. There are fair here (speaking for myself). Where I work now, I am the first black person to have the position I have now. I didn't get to where I am now in a day...but I got here eventually. I have a sibling who is a Geologist and is currently holding a senior managerial role at Rio Tinto, he is also black.. like you and I.

It is well kiss
