Keep quiet or march on. Had the foolish barren shepopotamus kept her gob quiet, would there be any need for El Rufai and co to quote her?

You people are highly misguided. Her statements were broadcasted on national tv, it is right there on Youtube as well. So what is your problem with El Rufai?

We had the likes of OBJ who re-contested elections in this country and his late first lady stayed out of his elections campaigns as much as possible.

If that garrulous barren vixen of a first lady cannot respect herself, at least let her respect her husband who is serving this nation.

So what you are saying in summary, is that PEJ is wrong and El Rufai is right.

Is that your message? I condemn them both. I do not support rubbish.

This rightly shows us the kind of politicians we have in this country. All they are after is their selfish interest.

Can someone tell me El Rufai's motive for placing such on his Facebook page without being biased?

Rubbish! In what way are you and your type different from Patience. Nobody is a second class citizen, and shouldn't be referred to as such. Why is the President's wife spreading hate against the north she wants to vote for her husband. Is this not the same woman calling Buhari, a former head of state, brain-dead. Mr man, come with another line.

Didn't you see where I referred to her statements as NONSENSE? Isn't that a sign that I am never and will never be in support of any of such utterances no matter who utters them.

I asked you a question and you didn't answer me.....

How are you different from her? Do you admit in all honesty that your own statement and advice is capable of causing deaths of your own fellow Nigerians if the APC goes ahead to implement it?

And my second question is not not answered......How and where did she mention Northerners?

You can't win this kind of case in court with just mere implication. what is your evidence that she is referring to the northerners except you feel within you that the northerners are guilty of what she said.

I've done as you advised, but still couldn't comprehend where and how she referred to northerners......

I, therefore, need your kind assistance. Please explain to me how her (albeit nonsense) statement refers to Northerners.....

I was born in the North (Kaduna), parents from the East Imo state, lived in Port Harcourt for some months, did my NYSC in Nasarawa State, and have lived in Lagos since 1996.... in all these places, what PEJ said was and is still prevalent. So tell me, why single out the north to be the region she is referring to?

Like seriously? Are you this desperate? So APC should transcribe it in Hausa/Fulani and spread the 'hatred'? Is this your end game? Let me ask you, where in the post did she mention NORTH?

Why spread hate? I'm very sure you have never lived in the North nor experienced their 'wrath' at any slightest provocation.

All i see is that you are just after political power....not minding how many people that are killed in the process.

Do not get me wrong, i am not in support of whatsoever 'nonsense' she spills, but tell me, how are you different from her based on this your own way of thinking?

That is TOTAL CHANGE......

These APC goons are so clever.... because want change at the Federal and continuity at the State level, they coined the phrase.....Continuity for Change......

Lagos State = Jimi Agbaje.

Politics / FG Should Listen To The Ceasefire Call By BOKO HARAM - Lai Mohammed by samoks(m): 11:40am On Feb 25, 2015
The All Progressive Congress have always said that Goodluck Jonathan does not have the insight and capability to secure Nigerians from boko haram. That it is only the APC presidential candidate, Mohammadu

Buhari that can squarely end the insecurity challenges.

Now they are saying Pres. Jonathan should listen to ceasefire, they want boko haram to gain time and regroup, their plan won't work"

So far, Boko haram has lost almost all their camps in Bornu, Yobe and Adamawa, they are now distributing flyers in Potiskum Yobe, Adamawa State asking for ceasefire as they flee for safety.

Should federal government now listen to the call by APC spokesman Lai Mohammed to a ceasefire deal which he said that Federal government should use this time to dialogue with the insurgence group.?

Are these not the same men castigating the army and federal government that they are incompetent and that the army can not flush these barbarians out of our land?

It's clear to see a person or group ideology or interest when they start showing sympathy for what they love. Apc have even started insinuating that Federal government is holding a fake SHEKAU to indict their presidential candidate.

How would Apc know the fake if they don't know the original? after all, Chief Femi Fani Kayode said in his last interview on channels TV that boko haram nominated buhari as their spokesman in 2012, this really speaks volume of who we are dealing with.

Nigerians be wise, APC is full of lies, deceit and propaganda. They mean no good for Nigeria.

We Nigerians have been calling the Government all sorts of names because of this Boko Haram issue. APC used it as a lethal campaign tool and it worked like magic. Now the same government has now decided to deal decisively with Boko Haram and APC has come out with another propaganda.

Let me ask you? What do you want?
What does APC want?

Do you want the Government to surrender that they can't fight Boko Haram?
Do you want a dead Shekau or a Shekau who would asnwer for all his sins?

If the government captures a fake Shekau, won't the REAL SHEKAU still come out in a video to say he is still alive?

I'm beginning to suspect this APC guys. APC in my opinion are now scared that the MIGHT of the Nigerian Military might capture Shekau and they are now trying to sell cheap propaganda to Nigerians to discredit Federal Govt efforts if at all they capture him alive.

Before you or any other APC apologist bathe me with insults or abuse please answer this last question.......

Will the real Shekau not come out to speak if Govt reveals a fake one?

Politics / The Grave Allegations Of Stephen Davis By Femi Fani-kayode by samoks(m): 12:25pm On Sep 02, 2014
The grave allegations of Stephen Davis

By Femi Fani-Kayode

I read, in the August 29 edition of Thisday Newspaper, the grave allegations made by an Australian by the name of Mr. Stephen Davis about those that he believes are behind Boko Haram.

He made some very serious allegations; he mentioned names and I would be interested in seeing the hard evidence that he claims to have.
I have always said that I believe that anyone, no matter which political party that person belongs to and no matter how highly placed or powerful that person may be, that is involved with Boko Haram ought to be captured, caged, flogged and brought to justice because I regard such people as nothing but bloodthirsty beasts.

I have also always said that I believe that some of the leading members of the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, are secret sponsors and supporters of Boko Haram and I am glad that Mr. Davis appears to share this view and that he has indeed confirmed my worst fears in his celebrated interview with Arise TV.

Similar concerns have been raised and allegations made about the suspicious nexus, the direct link and the questionable relationship between APC and Boko Haram by senior Members of Parliament in the British House of Commons together with a number of leading Russian and American civil and religious institutions, organisations, commentators and political figures.

It is therefore good news that Mr. Davis has confirmed some of our collective suspicions and fears and that he has decided to come out and tell us what he knows given the role that he played in the negotiations to broker a deal to get the Chibok girls released from Boko Haram. I have little doubt that, on the allegation that the APC and Boko Haram are linked, Mr.Davis is absolutely right.

I am not however convinced on the culpability of one or two of the other people that he has fingered. No one should be spared if the evidence is really there but I must say that I find the allegation that, for example, the former Chief of Army Staff, General Azubuike Ihejirika, is somehow involved with Boko Haram a little far-fetched.

I say this because firstly, the man spent so much of his time, energy, career and resources fighting that same terrorist organisation that he is now being accused of being part of.

Secondly, I say it because that terrorist organisation has killed and continues to kill so many of his own officers and men. And thirdly, I say it because the man is not a Muslim but a Christian and I have never heard of a Christian helping or assisting an Islamist terrorist organisation in their quest to establish an Islamic fundamentalist state or ”new world caliphate” in his country.

This is especially so when that terrorist organisation is committed to wiping out the Christian faith itself and killing every Christian, every secularist and every moderate Muslim in the country. It seems to me that this is an absurd notion and that it really doesn’t make any sense but if the Australian has any hard evidence let us see or hear it.

Again, I disagree strongly with the leading figures in the opposition that have said that the Federal Government and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP are the ones behind Boko Haram. I say this because those individuals know very well that the APC as a party have far more sympathy for Boko Haram and far many more of their leaders and members have spoken up for and in defence of Boko Haram than anyone else.

On Friday, August 29, in Thisday Newspaper, one of those leaders said that the Senator from Borno State that was facing terrorism charges was ”a PDP member”. This is not true. The Senator that he was referring to is Senator Ndume and he is in the APC and not the PDP.

Quite apart from that, certain things need to be noted. Let me remind those that are pointing fingers at the PDP today that it was not a member of the PDP or the Federal Government that, some time in 2013, said Boko Haram should not be proscribed as an organisation, even after they had slaughtered no less than 15,000 innocent Nigerians in cold blood. It was rather the official spokesman of the APC, Lai Mohammed, who said so.

It was not the PDP or any member of the Federal Government that told the world, only in 2013, that they were against the declaration of a State of Emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states, that an attack on Boko Haram was an attack on the north and that Boko Haram members ought not to be killed but rather they ought to be pampered, granted amnesty and treated in a gentle manner like the Niger Delta militants. It was the leading Presidential aspirant and one of the two co-owners of the APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, that said so.

It was the same General Buhari who has openly identified with and publiclly endorsed a number of the core objectives of Boko Haram when, as far back as 2001, he told the world that he wanted to ”spread sharia all over the country”, when he said that ”Muslims should only vote for those that would protect their interest”, when he asked ”why should it concern Christians when Muslims chop off the limbs of one another” in accordance with their divine law and when he said, in 2013, that there would be violence and that ”the blood of the dog and the baboon would both flow” if the coming elections were rigged.

It was not the PDP or a member of the Federal Government that told the world three years ago that if President Goodluck Jonathan or any southerner emerged as President in 2011 that ”we would make the country ungovernable”. It was Alhaji Lawal Kaita, a leading member of the APC, that said so.

It was not the PDP or any member of the Federal Government that guaranteed the security of the Chibok girls and insisted that they should go ahead and do their exams at Chibok and that he would provide the necessary security, even after WAEC and the Federal Ministry of Education had written him a letter and warned him that it would be dangerous to do so and that he must not go ahead.

It was the Governor of Borno State, who is a leading member of the APC, that did that. Not only did he not provide the promised security but he also abandoned the girls and left them in the lurch because only one adult, the school gateman, spent the night in the school with those girls despite all the obvious dangers.

Worst still, there was no electricity and no generator functioning at the school throughout the night and neither was there one adult, teacher or supervisor with the girls at the school.

Even more suspicious was the fact that not one of the daughters of any of the staff and teachers that attended that school spent the night with the other girls at the school that night. They were all in the safety of their homes. One wonders why? Was it just a coincidence or did they have prior notice of the impending doom?

The whole Chibok episode is still clouded in mystery but given the fact that the Governor of Borno State is now one of the leading members of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign I wonder why he allowed all these lapses to take place and why he behaved in this way?

Was his motive for not taking all reasonable measures to protect those girls political? Is there not more to his actions and inactions than meets the eye? I repeat my constant assertion that Boko Haram is the military wing of the APC and that the APC is the political wing of Boko Haram.

I make this grave and very serious allegation partly because of the aforementioned public utterances and actions of these leading APC members and partly because of a number of other things that I will not say publiclly because Nigerians would be utterly traumatised if they heard them.

There would be an uproar in this country if some of us were to say all that we know about the irresponsible and insidious religious agenda that the APC has and the hideous and shameful things that they are doing and saying behind closed doors.

The suggestion that they never had a plan to have a Muslim/Muslim ticket is a lie from the pit of hell. They may have dropped that plan now due to the fact that ii has generated a good deal of public uproar and outrage but that was their original plan and many of them were hell bent on it and probably still are.

The suggestion that they have not used religion as a political tool is another dirty lie. That is what they have been doing from day one and they are still doing it now. The suggestion that they cannot be equated with or compared to the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt or the Sudanese supporter of APC is another lie from the pit of hell.

If anyone has any doubts about that they should just scrutinise the religious composition of both their old and defunct Interim National Executive Commitee and the new one and they will see that it is virtually an all Muslim affair spiced with a few token christians lurking in the shadows and acting as fronts.

Nigeria is a multi-religious, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic secular state and it is exceptionally dangerous to introduce religion into politics and seek to use it to gain political power as the APC are shamelessly doing.

The suggestion that some of their more notable leaders often make that the PDP is linked to Boko Haram in any shape or form or that President Goodluck Jonathan, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) or the High Command of the Nigerian Military, Securiy Agencies and Intelligence Services are sponsoring or supporting Boko Haram is another lie from the pit of hell.

For anyone in the APC to make such an allegation is not only absurd but it is like the pot calling the kettle black. It was rather elements in the APC, and none of those in PDP or any of those organisations that worked day and night to ensure that America did not label Boko Haram a terrorist organisation throughout last year and up until early this year.

This is after the terrorists had killed and abducted so many young and innocent Nigerians. Now the question has to be asked, why was this so? If the APC were not behind Boko Haram why did they not want them to be labelled as terrorists by the Americans and the international community?

Why did they complain morning day and night that the Nigerian military were killing ”innocent northerners” and ”violating human rights” simply because our brave soldiers were risking their lives on the war front and battlefield fighting terror, trying to protect our people and trying to wipe out the enemy.

Some have cited the former National Security Advisor, General Patrick Azazi’s comments as evidence of PDP’s so-called involvement with Boko Haram. They conveniently forget that the elements that Azazi was referring to at that time have now all left the PDP and have now joined the APC.
We do not need any more lessons, finger-pointing or self-serving statements from leaders of the APC or their party about Boko Haram. What we need and what we want from them is for them to stop supporting and encouraging the terrorists and to stop bringing religion into politics.

They should also apologise to the Nigerian people for the shameful things that they have said which has done nothing but encourage the terrorists and the enemies of our people. May God grant them the grace and humility to do so.

I believe that the US knows something about this disease. How come they tested it on Animals and it worked? They probably created it to trouble us and make us to eternally run to them for help.

Just as their IMF and World Bank has impoverished African and third world countries.

Just as I also believe they created Boko Haram along with France.

They created Taliban in the Middle East, Trained Osama, and now they have brought ISIS on Iraq. They destroyed Iraq in search of Chemical weapon, at the end they found nothing, while killing almost 0.5million Iraqis.

Thank God China and Russia have floated a parallel financial body that is more powerful than the World Bank. Their reign of terror will soon end.

The US are the original givers of Greek gifts. Only God knows what collateral they are planning to demand for before they will give us the sample.

Why did they use the drug on the Americans? They should have also used preventive measures to treat them. Whether they like it or not, the disease will also hit their soil as long as they refuse to give us the drug.

This is not to absolve our government from its shortcomings. Over the years we have depended so much on importation rather than production. Now we are facing the consequences of funding our politicians pockets rather than funding research institutions.

Our doctors are on strike due to negligence of the government. Universities,Polytechnics and other higher institutions of learning are always on shut down mode, while our government officials are busy buying houses abroad.

If I continue to write, I will finish the ink on my keyboard....

I just hope we will get it right someday

MockingBird: Hello, Pls I need help and reasonable solution to reduce my recharge card cost to my girlfriend. I'm in a distant relationship and I need to be talking to my girl everyday as I'm in Abuja and she is Lagos. We are so close and so fond of each other that we can gist for hours on a stretch. Sometimes I end up borrowing credit from MTN only to finish it on her again, she would do the same until even her borrowed credit is finished too. This is straining my finances as I need to load at least N400 recharge card every day to talk to her. She also buys recharge card to talk to me constantly as we both are working.

This everyday buying of at least N400 recharge card is putting a hole in my pocket, so I was wondering, is there any way I can reduce my call cost to her. Pls note, both of us are committed to the relationship and we cannot afford to compromise on our everyday communication as this is what keeps us glued together. Pls if you have any solution out there I would be grateful to even pay for such. Thanks

I am also suffering the same thing as my girl friend is currently serving in a village in Nasarawa state. She will be done with service in October, before she would return to Port Harcourt while I'm in Lagos.

But a friend of mine just gave me the solution. He told me that Visafone has the solution. He said I will have to go to their office and get the package. The pack costs about 10,000 and you only have to pay a monthly subscription of #1000. In the pack you will get 3phones, you take one, give her one and the third can be given to anyone of your choice.

The beauty is that you will call each other free for the month. Go to a visafone office near you to make the inquiry.

If the people's choice was not reflected in the
result released by INEC, I believe they would
have protested.
Did soldiers cart away the ballot boxes? It is
crystal clear that the APC want to rig this
election.
Do you want to know why? They use thugs and
hoodlums to intimidate voters. For example,
during the 2011 governorship election in Lagos, in
Ojuelegba area of Surulere, Lagos, area boys

Let me quote them, because I was there in

I simply turned and went home, I didn't vote that

Police men were there, and they did nothing.
So I strongly believe this is what they plan to do.
Or do they have any evidence to proof that

To avoid giving biased response, are the accused all Muslims? If yes, then it serves them right because they agreed to be ruled by that law, but if they are non muslims, then I think its wrong because when they introduced sharia law, I remember they said it was not binding on non-muslims.

This is Nigeria, not Iran or ISIS, all Nigerians have right to drink whatever the Nigerian constitution deems safe for drinking at anytime.

Or is the sharia superior to the constitution?

Politics / Re: Apc's Tribute To Murtala Nyako by samoks(m): 7:12am On Jul 16, 2014
benuejosh: The APC took to Facebook to post a tribute to Governor of Admawa State, Murtala Nyako, who was impeached, July 15.

Read the whole statement below:

You are human though, courageous. You’ve had your share of what it takes to retire from Uniform to Agabda in the name of service to your nation. With total commitment from your side, you dined with the devil with your bare hands instead of using a long spoon.

You went apart with others and you refused to play the game according to their long existing rules, (you should have used the people’s resources to buy the Legislators to decamped with you). You did well for not promoting such anti democratic practices.

Despite your political shortcomings, it is important for us to learn some good lessons from your moment of courage and patriotism, it was you that prompted us that the State of Emergency was a motive against the 3 States that belongs to opposition. It was you that gathered all evidence that proved to us that Federal Government is not living up to expectations, as such the President is culpable on the ongoing Genocide in the North. No any other Governor stood against all odds to eulogize Late Gen. Shuwa and questioned the circumstance surrounding his death. It is no doubt that the Nigerian Military were seen in so many videos behaving like the insurgents, such act left the while world asking questions that nobody provide the answers, not even the President.

I stand by you not as a politician but, as a voice to the oppressed citizens of the Northern Nigeria. I applaud your decision not to bow down to the President and not withdraw your allegations. You have proved to us that you are a product of the old Generation of Uniform men. As for the corruption charges against you, let it prick your conscience that to serve in a corrupt system like ours, you better decline. Therefore, the whole world knows that they are not better than you. In fact, they are cowards that will never lend their voices to the insecurity crisis even if the blood of innocent citizen will flood their homes.

STAY WELL AND LETS SEE WHAT NEXT!

By IG Wala

You see the problem with this country. So there was nothing wrong with his incitement against the Igbos? So he was right to have asked the North to go to war against the Igbos who has done nothing against him. Is Jonathan Igbo?

And you also did not condemn him for corruption. Is he corrupt or not? He looted his State dry, and you congratulate him for looting his state dry.

This is why I still stand on my word that we do not have a viable alternative to PDP yet.

Politics / Re: PDP/ Jonathan Supporters Why Don't You Like Criticism Or You Just Hate APC. by samoks(m): 7:02am On Jul 16, 2014
I believe it is so because the opposition is not criticizing the PDP constructively. Why must the opposition use 'we must pull them down at all cost' approach?

Constructive criticism is what the opposition lack.

Just my opinion....

Politics / Re: Disgraced Former APC Governor On The Run; Faces Treason Charges by samoks(m): 6:54am On Jul 16, 2014
I'm one of those neutrals neither for PDP nor APC.

But to say the wholesome truth, Nyako deserves what he's getting. It is for this same reason that Buhari has never opened his mouth to accuse Jonathan directly of such crimes as Nyako did.

In politics you need to be smart. There's a saying that 'it is the respect people have for the crown that prevents them from slapping the king'.

But Nyako didn't respect the crown, and he's now being made to face the punishment.

To all those who are BLINDLY supporting Nyako just because he is of APC, what do you think would have happened if all the Northern Governors rose up against the IGBOS and the President as Nyako told them in his letter? Please let us be objective here. The man committed a treasonable felony, so must be made to face the music.

On the other, I think and believe Jonathan is not actually sincere on his part. He is only fighting those who are against him, using corruption charges to dislodge them, although they might be guilty as charged. Just the way OBJ did during his time.

There are many PDP governors who are worse than Nyako corruption-wise, but Jonathan is turning a deaf ear all because they are loyal to him. This is actually the problem we are facing as a nation.

Until we discover a leader who will wholeheartedly fight corruption, who will spare nothing, spare no one even if he/she is his/her brother or sister, Nigeria will continue to move at a snail pace or worse still, taking one step forward, and two steps backward.

But the truth is that we do not have such persons yet in Nigeria. Left right and center, all we have is just recycling of OLD JUNKS who are head bent on remaining in power till their dying day.

Now Amodu Sheriff has defected to PDP, to all the APC supporters, he's no longer a saint, nor progressive, he's now a Boko Haram Sponsor, and to PDP supporters, he's no longer a Boko Haram financier, but a saint, just like Fani Kayode, who ran from APC to PDP so that the charges against him would be lifted, and not surprisingly so, he has been acquitted and absorbed of any wrong doing by the EFCC.

Nigerians, when will we learn? When will we say enough is enough?
