+On cities WA cant hold a candle to EA. Your best rep is Abidjan, which would be floored by Dar in the morning sunshine. Nigerian cities are the next best bet but they arent impressive. There exists no other city in WA that can hold a candle to the EA cities. Kigali would easily floor Accra and all Ghanaian cities. Lagos, which is your premier skyscraper city would see Nairobi's dust. Addis Ababa would be left with no one to compete with because honestly comparing Addis to Ouagadougou is an insult to Addis.

When you take out Nigeria from the Equation you are left with $250b as you regional gdp unlike EA not matter which country you remove from the equation the GDP will fall back to about $200b. WA is only bragging because of Nigeria apart from that, nothing.

Better not add Ghana with their gwongoro trains I thought we were talking of electric rail only. Nigeria doesn't have electrified railways. In West Africa only Senegel has a tiny miniscule stretch of electric railway. In East Africa it's a whole different story because we have the Ethiopian - Djiboutian electrified railway stretching for more than 750 Kms, and now the Tz railway stretching for more than 400 Kms once complete. That brings it to a total of over 1000 Kms of electrified rail in only two EA countries. A massive blow already to WA. When Kenya decides to electrify her own we're talking of over 1500 Kms of electrified rail.
