NairobiWalker:No wonder Kenya remains in the dust. Abuja a city that was planned few years ago to be an administrative capital is still 10 times more developed than Nairobi. Just see its Roads modern infrastructure its architecture its Estates, its developed luxury suburbs. Its true Kenyan whites have deluded you. Think of the centenary city that will be bigger than all Kenyan slun |
rvp20183:yet IB,PH,Abuja rank high as cities in Africa displacing shitty Mombasa to the dust |
rvp20183:Abuja is million miles ahead of Nairobi, not worthless Mombasa. I doubt if Mombasa is better than the industrialised state of kano. Kano's current projects render mombasa worthless |
TMKsouth:Its like you want to start with broadcasting. First TV station in Africa First radio station in Africa First African to appear on TV First Private owned TV station in Africa. When you say News channels in Africa you talk channels TV. We have big stations pioneering entertainment in Africa like Ebony life TV African movie network sound city Spice TV Trybe tv We have tv channels than the entire kenya Nigeria does things for Africa and doesn't wait for whites. Nigeria's TV market is the biggest after SA Nigerian content controls DSTV in Nigeria |
rvp20183:Why are you so backward comparing Nairobi to Lagos. Did you not see that those where the inner street pics of marina. Don't you think Lagos that is more of a business city in Africa will have more than the whole Kenya. Rural areas in Lagos have advert banners attached to street lights. Bus stops, BRTs, Bridges, round about all have ADs to show. what of the billboards every where. you think ads are only in Lagos city. Nairobi is too backward compared to Lagos. cc forgiveness, 688148419 |
rvp20183:so you don't know that ABJ was created to a be a green city. Every aerial pictures of the city carries forests, vegetations, aesthetics etc Everywhere in ABJ has a spice of aesthetics and trees. The ABJ master plan dictates that it is compulsory to create room for aesthetics in your building plan. Check ABJ and see if there is any pic of the city without an encouraging greenery. |

rvp20183:so you don't know Abuja is ranked greener than Nairobi. Abuja serenity, greenery, aesthetics is miles ahead Have you seen Ibadans Agodi parks and garden PH's best park etc. I am even using other cities for your shitty Nairobi |
rvp20183:Nairobi is a joke, have you seen the Abuja national park, arboteum, millennium park. parks and garden litter the whole Abuja Abuja parks and gardens are out of this world. But can Kenya even show us any planned city from the scratch, we just see every thing in Nairobi - white CBD its true that Kenya is owned by the whites and Kenyatta family. |
we pioneer things and don't wait for whites. I can tell u that the total land mass of all Nairobi cbd per km cannot be up to Lagos island, talkless of ikoyi,VI,lekki etc. One big thing about Lagos is ,highrises scatter across the city and not only the CBD. places like ikeja, yaba on the mainland all have tall buildings, not to talk of places on the island that ain't CBD. Lagos skyline is going to be very crazy in coming years, but I wish our skyscrapers could kiss the sky. Kenyans, you have been scammed by your whites for building that poor cbd with narrow roads as that to a prison. Just ask your Nairobi governor about how useless Nairobi is to Lagos. Nairobi is just a substance of deceit when you look at the buildings built by the whites The EAC certainly is way too much than any Kenyan village |
forgiveness:weldone Lazy Kenyans say EAC has just 2 towers. What Kenyan whites can never achieve They think its a child's play reclaiming land and developing it.This reason makes Lagos the most planned city in Africa. Nairobi CBD is poorly planned and they compare with a CBD that has its Arena totally planned. Continue to show us more Don't forget to expose that wrought of a CBD poorly developed by their whites |
I told Kenyans that Nairobi can't compete. well done my Nigerian friends, continue to post pictures and projects and expose that joke of a city Nairobi. If I tell Kenyans that lekki has more hyper projects with crazy infrastructure than all Kenyan cities, they say no. All the current projects in lekki presently renders Kenya irrelevant. Show them more Lagos is just too big for Nairobi |
Kenyans are still battling here |

NairobiWalker:just go back and see the nitel building I posted. |
NITEL
|
samsobo24:ikoyi has been urban since Kenyans were still living in the stone age |
forgiveness let's have pictures of the festive season in nigeria |
so Kenyans can dare say Lagos has slums when I have millions of slum pictures in Nairobi even around the CBD and the whole Kenya. I will not retaliate by posting pictures Lekki alone is more planned, developed and has more projects than whole Kenyans+ whites +indians. let's go Grace field Phoenix city lekki Diamond island lekki new city imperial international business city lekki Orange island lekki lekki smart city Africa's deepest seaport in same lekki Worlds single largest refinery in lekki Africa's new airport project, going to be the most modern and largest Airport in Africa. Lekki free trade Zone,Largest in west Africa Estate developers dominate lekki to develop luxury houses. I should stop here because of some high BP Kenyans. Any jobless Kenyan can start checking for all what I have said now to show kenyans Note All the projects mentioned are under construction, some almost complete. The above mentioned cities are new planned cities that will have similar infrastructure as the EAC with high rise apartments dominating. Lekki has more industries than the whole Kenya, that's why is the fastest developing corridor in Africa.Mind you lekki was an history about years back and now, it is just too much of a city for Nairobi. |
Lagos economy will buy Kenya three times and collect change. |
I have never seen inner street views of Kenya except the repeatedly recycled cbd pictures. Lagos Economy being the 4th largest in Africa competing with countries should give Kenyans headache. We don't go about taking pictures like you kenyans |
Kur17: Kur17:well Google is your friend, ask you government. I told you that it isn't easy to manage a state with a tiny land mass, with a population more than Kenya, those pictures were when Lagos island was still in disorder due to only 1 CBD. Lagos island is ten million miles ahead of Nairobi cbd developed by whites. it has more high rises than the whole Kenya. I guess you would have been looking for same for VI ,lekki,Ikeja, etc. Your slums are a stone trow away from your cbd and it pleases you. Rural Lagos infrastructure is more sophisticated than Nairobi's so called cities. Google infrastructure revolution in Lagos and see for yourself. Nairobi is a place where travel agencies ought to explore to bring out the lies and pretence Kenya's have been resorting to. Lagos CBDs are well planned, Lagos is just too much for shitty nairobi |
Festivity in Lagos Abuja the city of greenery my Nigerians please post Christmas pictures in our cities
|
Nairobi tall building built by whites can excite only Kenyans. Lagos is over developed than Nairobi comparing with Nairobi standard. Lagos spreads its development all over like tentacles. Does Nairobi even have the ego of reclaiming land. Lekki,Ikoyi,Victoria island, Ikorodu ,Ikeja, Banana island are just too much Abuja on the other hand beats Lagos in terms of modernity, serenity, top notch estates, world class estates etc. Rural Lagos is almost like a city to Kenyans because of infrastructures like roads, street lights, bridges, road markings and bill board. Lagos is almost completely urban with everywhere litered with modern shops and banks. I laugh when Kenyans say we have only a CBD when we even have more than the current marina,VI,Ikeja,Lekki etc speaking in terms of Nairobi's shitty standard. Almost everywhere can be almost called a cbd in lagos. Oshodi world class transport interchange, all bus terminal projects in Lagos, ultra modern markets continue to scatter all over the mainland. Lagos has invested and still doing in empowering the youths in tech, training women and midwives, training artisans etc. Kenyans research about Lagos, ask your countrymen and see for yourselves. I say this with all sincerity that Nairobi is scrap comparing with Lagos. You should praise your white masters for giving you something to compare with Lagos. |
[rvp20183 post=73620003]That is not a CBD.If we used that criteria Nairobi would have more than ten CBDs..Mombasa rd CBD.South C CBD.. Nairobi West CBD.. upper hill..industrial area CBD ...city center..Westlands..Ngong Road..kilimani CBD..Valley road CBD... Parkland CBD...Gigiri CBD..Thika Rd CBD.All those areas have those kinds of CBDs with commercial centers and office spaces. Those will be like 15 lekki or Victoria type CBDs in Nairobi. But if you talking real CBDs then Nairobi got 3.Lagos has one and maybe in 50yrs the Eko City will make it two[/quote]ignorance how can a mega city like Lagos have 1 CBD now let's start Lagos first had Marina,Lagos island as its cbd for so long, but because of the battle for space, better infrastructure, modernity etc firm's started moving to Victoria island to create a CBD for Lagos. Now Ikeja on the mainland, being the capital of Lagos has many industrial clusters than the whole Kenya, creating the third cbd lekki is also turning a business hub,so partially we can say it also has a cbd. Lagos has 3 CBDs + maybe lekki 4 what happens when we add EAC CBD lekki smart city CBD imperial international business city CBD Orange island CBD even Oshodi is gearing up to become a cbd on the mainland Meaning Lagos will have 7 in future Lagos isn't like Nairobi,Lagos has got more world class cities in it .That's why Lagos has about 80 % or more than of its land mass urban, unlike Nairobi's 30% or 40% . Lagos is too much for Nairobi |
