Politics › Re: Bitter Truth About Islamization Agenda By Abdulrazaq O Hamzat by Samunique(m): 3:55pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
sweetgala: Any Nigerian with the most minute amount of sanity would not question why Nigeria is a member of the OIC, If a country like ours has a large population of indigenous peoples who follow a certain religion it is her duty to be in fellowship with other nations who share such characteristics to better improve their collective goals , and the livelihood of the represented citizenry. Nigeria going by the most modest statistics has a very high ratio and population of Muslims.
Some minimum 48% of our estimated 166 million(UN stats) citizens identify as practicing Muslims, who deserve to be represented at the OIC. Nigeria contributes the 4th largest Muslim population globally behind , Palestine , Indonesia and Bangladesh. To not be a member would be the wrong thing. Being aligned to the OIC provides us political and logistical leverage.
Like the Muslims the Christians are also represented in global fellowship, Nigeria is a member of the Anglican Commune , an active important member of the Baptist World Alliance with it's over 3.5 million members being the highest contributor, we have a residential ambassador to the Holy See , World Methodist Council. e.t.c.
That the nation has not worked to gain the max possible advantage economically or otherwise is the burden of the leaders we have had. We have a large Multi-religious population and so far have not separated church/Islam from state constitutionally and so far have provisions in our national budget for religious associations.
NIGERIA IS NOT A SECULAR STATE USA and CHINA are secular Nigeria is not. We are multi-religious and therefore must make provisions for organised religions which seeks representation at a global council.
On why it was registered to OIC I believed it was invited to do so and duly did, at the time there was no legislature just a military council so there was no means to present such a case for national deliberation. We don't practice national referendums, so IBB did the only logical thing he signed up for the ride.
* We don't have any indigenous Zionist population.
* African Traditional religion also has a representation I believe.
Brazil with 90% Catholicism have requested to be an observing member, Russia is an observing member of OIC Pls don't mix up things here! Nigeria as a state has noting to do with anglican communion, it purely church and denominational. Ok? The issue is, Nigeria as a state, not Nigerian Muslims as a religious organisation was registered as a member of OIC , u are here telling me about Anglican communion which is Purely denominational and has noting to do with Nigeria as a state. Now tell me if anything that affects Nigeria as a state does not affect her citizens? Lastly u have to make urself clearer for saying Nigeria is not a secular state. If Nigeria is not a secular state, which religion does it belong to, cause it can not be Islam , Christianity or traditional at the same time except u are deceiving urself I think u are one of the problems we have in Nigeria, those who believe religions should not be separated from the state. And that's what ur brothers are fighting for up north. Bros Nigeria does not belong to any religion or religions, it's a free state where everybody is free to practice whatever religion he/she deem fit. Meanwhile u have not answered all my questions. |

@ OP.
First of all, the writter of this article started well but along the line his emotions and religious affiliation nearly marred what's supposed to shed light to the notion of islmaization in Nigeria.
Having said that, I'll give him kudos for this bold step!!!!
Meanwhile, i have some questions for him or any muslim who could answer these.
* Why was a purely secular nation like Nigeria registered in ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC CONFERENCE ( OIC ) without the approval of some various stake holders and the consultation, consideration of the people of other faiths if Nigeria is not considered to be an Islamic country? * What is the rational behind Nigeria being a member of OIC?
* don't u think the people of other faiths have a reason to worry most especially Christians who are the majority among them seeing a multi-religious state like ours being registered in an organization that belongs to only on religion, Islam?
* What gives u the impression that muslims are slightly the majority in Nigeria, can u pls give us the statistics with facts?
* Do u think Muslims would have taken it lightly if Nigeria was/is registered as a Zion nation, ( Zionists ) if there's anything like that ?
* Can u remember what happened about the symbol on the new 100 naira note how muslim's leaders reacted?
* Has this writter made out time to investigate this among the nothern muslim's leaders, bcs i know he's a yoruba muslim?
I'll tell the truth, it's only an insane man that will not worry about what's going on in the Islamic world today most especially in the NOTHERN NIGERIA !!!!
PLS I NEED ANSWERS!

mu2sa2: How many gods does naija Christian prophets have? I'm asking because everyone of these ubiquitous self-appointed "man of god/prophet" will preface his predictions with "god told/showed me". But the predictions are inconsistent and contradictory. Since the Almighty God is consistent in truth, is it that each of these prophets has his own little god that inspires him? Prophecies can never be the same bcs they are progressive, time bound, and also have to do with locations, events that may or not be depending on how we handle them. Take for example, Jeremiah was called the prophet of the sword and war bcs he only prophesied doom and judgement while 80% of Isaiah prophecies were about hope, peace and restoration, so can we now say that these people got their inspirations from different sources? No!!!! Remember your English textbook in secondary school has many chapters, topics and sup-topics and u as a student can only work on the chapter and a topic ur teacher asks u to. So it is with God, u can only see and work on the chapter he opens for u. He may decide to reveal the beginning of an event to u ( depending on ur level in the spirit ) and go ahead to reveal the middle and the end to others, (that's why i said prophecies are progressive!!) somebody may see doom and it later turns to peace along the line, it's all depends on the chapter of the prophecies and how people handle them. Note: I'm not in anyway endorsing any prophets or prophecies, just speaking generally for clearification purposes. THANKS!!!! |

Francis5: B-R-E-A-K-I-N-G News!!! Buhari's Certificates Were Stolen During IBB Coup. - Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
**the General has no Secondary school certificate to show to the INEC as requested.
The leadership of the App Progressive Congress (APC) has reacted officially to the "Buhari Certificate Scandal" for the first time after nearly a week the issues was reported.
The spokesman for the party, Alhaji Lai Mohammed (retd) has expressed regret in informing Nigerians that Maj General Muhammadu Buhari has no Secondary school certificate to show anyone as required by the Nigerian law.
Alhaji Mohammed said that "Maj General Muhammadu Buhari (retired) lost it while he was in detention for over three years after the Gen Ibrahim Babangid's coup. The APC National publicity Secretary went to say that while Buhari was in detention, his captors raided his residence and vandalised his property including certificates and diplomas. a "Consequently, after his release, whenever the General is asked about his academic qualifications, he would refer such bodies to the Military Command (Military Board), who has his service records including his academic certificates"
The Nigerian Army clarified over the weekend that they do not keep the original copies of anyone's certificate, but they are in possession of Buhari's Military records.
There are few questions for Buhari and APC leaders who are aware of Buhari's situation and decided to allow Nigerians to fight themselves over an obvious issue.
1] Knowing that the amended Constitution (2011) required every Aspirants and party candidates to present their Original Certificates, what did they do as a remedy for this? 2] Buhari lost his Secondary school Certificate after 1985 Military, why did Buhari not state this in his sworn Affidavit to INEC? 3] VP Sambo claimed that his certificate was burnt when his house was burnt years back, but was able to request from his University, the ABU, Zaria to issue him replacement copy with a school covering letter. Why have Buhari not done the same since 2003, he started contesting for the Presidential seat? 4] If Buhari is busy, why have the leadership of APC failed to get a copy of Buhari's School certificate from the Government College Katsina? 5] Why did Buhari's affidavit not mentioned that he lost the certificate from Katsina Provincial Secondary School (now Government College Katsina), a certificate he NEVER had? 6] For you that have insulted Hope For Nigeria, what is your opinion now it is re-confirmed from the APC that Buhari do not have a secondary school certificate? http://www.hopefornigeriaonline.com/ U can only hear this from AGBERO PEOPLE CONGRESS!!!! JOKE OF THE CENTURY. Shameless liar Muhammed with lame excuses!!! Una never start!!!! |
