Sorry for what u went thru. Similar thing happened to my mum too, she went to pay condolence to a family friend who lost his dad and met robbers there. They ordered her to lie down and she obeyed. One of them pulled her up from where she was laying facedown and slapped the hell out of her for no reason. We just thank God she wasn't killed.


It's not as if the people of that community didn't know what is involved in judiciary. I believe its a case of a people losing faith in the judicial system. You know how it is in naija now, even if the police had apprehended those gizas, they would have taken money from them as they often do and set them free to return to what they were doing. These people prolly didn't just believe in the system. I believe thats why they decided to do it their own way.


If the Nigerian govt was a wise one, incidences such as this should teach and not to point fingers and rant and issue out orders and poo. If they can gain the people's faith in the NPF and the judicial system, then incidences like this will not be happening.

Since the police where not coming to our aid as i can guess was the case with u too, we took turns amongst us to keep watch at night (imagine students that came to study turning into security men). If any student didn't go out then, we would normally make them pay fines.

Mcdondayan: when i read some comments here, i cant just help but laugh. In as much as i do not support the murder of those guys you need to see the kind of horror they inflict on other studients. I was a studient of IMSU and i lived in okwu uratta rd (for those of you that know owerri) these studient go from hostel to hostel each night with heavy pump action guns to rob at night, and you are been shot if you fail to co-operate. After the robbery, they go with some girls and rape them. In two days time they will visit another hostel and repeat the same evil act and the cycle continues. On our way back from 6am mass on a particular sunday we ran to the aid of a crying who was shot on the leg for refusing to give them her phone.
A studient was nearly killed but for the intervention of the police because he pointed a gun at a fellow studient who chased him into the bush in order to collect the phone of a female studient that was robbed, pulled the trigger twice but the gun refused to shoot.
I can give you more evil incidents that took place in okwu uratta rd alone. The funniest thing is that you will still see these guys the following day on the street and they move abt so freely.
On one night robbery occassion when i called the police they said they could nt come because the university failed to give them the bus they asked for.
Killing of any form is bad but with the kind of terror there guys unleash one might be forced to be a savage..

Anywayz, one of my parent's dependants used to see angels while I was a toddler but never told us what she usually discussed with them each time. She said they normally warned her not to speak of it.

What i sure know about this lady however, is that she is righteous and virtuos;I can confidently attest to this fact. I dont know if her way of life might have had an influence to her seeing angels.
