I was sent an email of the receipt but im sure something was not right. I noticed they were always touching their phone. What are they doing? Are they manipulating the fare. They charged me so high for a distance that had no hold up. I really want to know the motive behind always pressing their phone through out the trip. I seriously believe they are manipulating something.

You might hailed the trip during a surge period.

Assuming surge was 2X at the time, it means you will pay twice the previous fare for the same distance.
