Go and study the law and educate yourself. You have a smartphone on your person.

People like me stay alive by not acting insolent with armed leo's doing their duty.

My friend, your IQ must be very low. Your reasoning is so terribly disturbing.

And there you go talking about law. Really! What crazy law are you talking about.

About to be shot by a drunk cop and you are here yapping about law.

You have to survive first in that jungle called Nigeria.

If and when a drunk cop points a gun at you, wait for him to shoot and you become part of the statistics of police shooting.

State police is simply the solution.

Funnily, it is the poor and struggling that use even their meagre resources to fall into this kind of trap!

The comfortable and rich are smart enough, .... that is why they are rich and comfortable, in the first place!

Politics / Re: Government's Wrong Policy Choices Caused This Recession - Pat Utomi by santafe(m): 8:48pm On Sep 19, 2016
InvertedHammer:
Nigerians knew that the country was heading to abyss and that's why the voted out GEJ.

But when Buhari came in, he appeared confused and ill-prepared for the task ahead. The first disappointment was the calibre of his ministers. Then there was the air of uncertainty. Worst of all, he followed the exact footstep of GEJ whereby impromptu policies are put forth, followed by denial and the reversal. Lack of concise policies marinated in uncertainties enveloped in phantom war on corruption did his government in.

GEJ was clueless. Buhari is clueless. The fault lies on Nigerians who keep voting in bad managers for the country. Does it make sense that in a country of 180m, their only options were GEJ and Buhari? Guess what? In 2019, the same cycle will be repeated. Thr same folks whining will collect a bag of rice, sell their votes and come back to whine for the next 4 years. Like people from IBB's era, they will live on hope only to find out that they are now above 40 years and nothing has changed.
\

Gbam.

I didn't want to comment and was just reading through but this got me as an an accurate depiction of the true condition of Nigeria.

People like @Goke and the gang are still living in delusion thinking PMB has anything to offer. You cant givecwhat you dont have. Its pretty basic

PMB and GEJ are probably more confused than the average Nigerian

GEJ = grand patron of cluelessness

PMB = Confused and clueless

It is hightime we abandon our tribalism and realize our future and those of our kids are at stake here.

PMB, OBJ et al.. these men are not part of our future,
They have lived the better part of their lives and they dont give a f..k about the future of the country.

Their kids are being strategically positioned to take over from where they stop and we are here making excuses for their stupidity.

I realized on time that this circle will continue that was why left the Country.

Lets tell ourself the truth, the problem with Nigeria is more than the low price of crude.

Its bad leadership and terible followership. We worship our leaders be it pilitical or Religious.

We dont hold our leaders accountable.
@Goke and the gang is still talking about PDP.

PDP is made up of individual and a lot of them are still in this present government.

It is not the party but individuals that mismanaged the country. A lot of them are still in APC. One of them is the Senate President.

Please, let us learn to ask our leaders questions and hold them accountable. Be it , Local Govt chairmen, Governors, Senators and Reps, Pastor( yes, because funds that could have gone for investment and increase GDP is being funnelled to maintain expensive lifestyles)

Let us not be overwelmed by the charisma of these men afterall, they are enjoying our mandate.

Our GO's pray for these corrupt leaders and no member is asking them questions. Do we ask them why the need for Private jet and the cost of the maintanance.

Lots of things wrong with the country mennn.

I am not a Wailer or a Zombie neither am i a Sycophant. I only want a better Nigeria.

@Conqueredwest, Lots of respect for your brilliant analysis. Spot on

@mrvitalis, you are missing something, Polythecnics in Nigeria are supposed to be fully into teaching technology and not trying to duplicate University's Curriculum.
The two should complement each other. This chestbeating about which is supperior does not address this very important imbalance.

Thats why we have mere technicians from Asia and Europe handling our important construction projects.

Our educational system needs a complete overhaul if there is to be any meaningful economic growth.

Hopeless old ugly b.astard are we responsible for the backwardness of your useless state? Anambra does not want to have anything to do with Imo state, we don't even marry your women as we see it as sacrilegious and suicidal to do such and I think that is enough signal to point to the fact that we are not seeing you i.diots as one with us.

We don't want to be in any organization or group with your state and that is a very is strong message to make you understand it. Uwazurike(MASSOB) is from Imo state..please kindly use the platform and pave your way to your own entity. We don't want to be regarded as one with you people. Imo state is a CURSE to the Igboland and should be treated as outcasts.

All these embarrassment MSASSOB/IPOB is bringing to the Igbo people is because of one con man from Imo state by the name Ralph Uwazurike. We have made it clear before now that we are a monolithic state and do not want to be part of your useless organization. All the people killed so far in protest across the SE particularly Onitsha, Asaba and Enugu are mostly miscreants from Imo state. One was recently buried in his home state of Imo state.

Buhari should make haste to bomb Imo state the same way it is bombing Northeast because the origin and head quarters of MASSOB/IPOB is in Imo state. The new militant group in the SE is also operating in Imo state. Let Imo state be leveled to the ground so that the SE will know peace for once.

Lastly, Nri/Eri is the origin of the Igbos, you can choose to keep denying it but your fore-fathers knew where they all came from. Bitter truth for bitter people cheesy

I hate these people called Agents and also the people who use them, only foolish people uses Agents, That thing wey the agent go do, you can do it by yourself.
My guy gave an agent 500 thousand naira for ordinary Dubai visa, how much did it cost me to get an American visa ?? Just 160k, The guy foolishly went to Dubai with a one month visa, he's now in Lagos begging for money

I agree 100%.
People should be very careful where they choose to live and work,
. If you do not have a professional job in Dubai, by all means, please don't go there. Lets also careful about agents too as they serve their selfish interest most of the time.

I do not support Biafra... but I'm in full support of regional government. I love our population we can get something good from it. I love the people from the zone not only that I schooled there , they are industrous

It will make every region to sit up and think outta the box of what to do to improve her economy.

The government is too far from the people.

The government should start from the local government down to the federal government not the other way round.

Local government like obi/akpo in rivers state or ikeja in lagos state should be richer than Abuja cos nothing happens there.

!Epic! This is what this country needs. Its not rocket science. Any Individual who does not support this is an enemy of Nigeria, simply put. PMB, Our lawmakers should make these their priorties or they are enemies of Nigeria.
Enough of money sharing in the name of federal allocations. That is the bane of corruption and laziness.

Keep comparing yourself to a dead man if it makes you feel beter while Nigerian economy keeps going south.
Zimbabwean currency is dead and cannot be a basis for any comparism.
Btw, they have a better economy . The fact is so glaring that Nigera is cursed with bad and very selfish leaders, PMB, GEJ, Senators, Governors and what have you.

Majority of our current leaders know zilch about leadership and how to grow a nation.
What are the developmental plans for this country? Does the current Government have any?
Drastic steps need to be taken if Nigeria is to survive.

A lot of states need to be merged to save scarce resources. Ther is so much waste of already scarce resources in the name of allocations.

Buhari is a deluded man. All he is doing is 'money recovery'. I'm not saying that going after people who have embezzled public funds is a bad thing, but it is just a small part of fighting corruption. What about those that are currently embezzling funds now under Buhari? What has Buhari done to ensure accountability in all spheres of Government? What has he done to ensure that Local Government Chairmen don't pocket monthly allocations? That Governors don't steal? What is Buhari doing to see that "Egunje" still being extorted by the armed forces from Police to the Army becomes a thing of the past?As Buhari goes after funds looted in the past, the current office holders are busy looting away. Buhari is just a clueless dullard.

Buhary is indeed clueless. I pity Nigeria as a country. Maybe we deserve the kind of leaders we get. We worship them and dont hold them acccountable. Smh

2012 November, i was coming back from School(To get my tranacript) and i was stopped under Ojuelegba bridge by some mufti wearing Policemen. There mission; Stop and search.

Meanwhile, i wasn't driving as i just alighted from pubic bus.
Went through my pockets, my bag and all my documents, i was already late for work and in a mighty hurry.
They searched and found my drivers licence in my wallet. ; This your licence , na fake and you have to take us to the syndicate printing fake licences.

Meanwhile, they also found N100, 000 on me as i always liked to go around with cash on me. When they found the money, They went berserk, shoved into the police van and intead of taking me to a Police Station, I was taken to the police quarters.

One of them told me; you could end up in jail even if innocent and he said dont you know there are lots of innocent people in jail;

They got N15k from me and still asked for beer.
I lost Faith in the country and i couldn't wait to get out of the cesspit.

I believe regional/ State policing will curb this menace as there will be accountability.
