We will win this war by God's grace.

There was a time in our country that people were afraid to go to church on sundays or visit the market places or stay among a group of people.
Slow and steady we will all win together.

God Save Nigeria.

Slow and steady with positive words and no plans leads nowhere. The country is doomed with the present leadership. Why don't you get your head out of the sand for once and face reality.

The Invictus Obi's saga is disheartening not because another Nigeria yet again has been busted for fraud, it's disheartening because the rippling effect will be enormous.
A lot of Nigerians are going to pay for yet another scandal by a single Nigerian.

Thing is Obinwanne was not just another average Nigerian, he had a CV and portfolio that was envied on even by the international community.

He was looked upon as one of the bright spots to come out of this dark hellish place called Nigeria.

Obinwanne Okeke (Invictus) was one of the supposed few answers to the damning question of can anything good come out of Nigeria?

Featured by Forbes as one of the Forbes 30 under 30.
He's been on BBC, given a Ted Talk, Spoke at London school of Economics Africa Summit.
Has a conglomerate spanning across many African countries dealing on oil, agriculture, infrastructure, solar energy etc.
Had a lot of International awards celebrating his achievements

With this sort of portfolio and at 32yrs, he was seen as this bright spark coming out from a country that has more trends for despicable things than amiable ones.

Only to find out that beneath all this facade was a fraudster. A serial one.

An international corporate yahoo boy with suits and a great CV to match.
Estimated to have stolen $20-$22million from US companies from 2011 till date.

There was always that gaping hole in his story about his start up capital that gave an itch of not adding up.
But then we gave benefit of the doubt as we usually do even to our own collective detriment in a bid not to come across as a hater.

He fooled a lot of people and that for a long time. Make no mistake about it, he's going to pay for his crimes. But he isn't my concern.

You can't help but feel for other innocent Nigerians that are going to pay for the crimes of Obinwanne too.

Obinwanne would be in his prison scrub for a long time serving his time.

While other Nigerian out there will be getting Visa denied even after meeting and surpassing all the requirements.

Other Nigerians would have to work twice as hard to earn a modicum of trust and respect within the international community.

International organizations are going to pull out of deals the moment they become aware a Nigerian is part of the deal.

International airports will be a lot more hostile than they already are the moment they see you with that almost worthless green passport.

More companies will start declining cards coming from this part of the world.

Nobody wins here, not you, not me.

Imagine one of the few people who had earned the trust and admiration of the international community being busted for fraud.
What is your fate being an average John Doe or Jane Doe?

While Obinwanne is going to pay for his crimes inside the walls of a correctional facility.

You are going to pay for his crimes in embassy halls, airports, business meetings, immigration offices etc.

It will be no fault of yours, you would probably have all the requirements but still would be treated as an infidel.

When one of your supposed brightest minds has been busted as a fraud.

What are your chances?

Nobody won here.

We all lost.

~Prince Uzor Onyemaobi

Exactly. I dont know if it is low IQ that is wrong with millions here. You will see an educated person insulting ur tribe becus ur tribe didnt produce president. I keep wondering their tribe that produced president many times is any different from the region without president so far?

No, I have traveled a lot across this country. I mean a lot, it is same story everywhere with few differences.

The unstable power supply is a Nigeria's problem and not south west or south east problem. if more than half a population of a country cant enjoy stable power supply, it is a national disgrace.

The unemployment is a national problem. As e dey affect yoruba youths, na so e dey affect igbo youths, na so e dey affect hausa youths.

Our country does not have standard water supply system. It is everywhere from east to west to south south, to north!

Insecurity is high across the country and mainly affect poor people who make up more than half of the population. It affects Hausa man, igbo man, yoruba man, Ijaw man, etc. It knows no tribe!

bad roads are across the country. Erosion affects all erosion prone regions in the country!

Lack of standard housing is a national problem!

poor salary jobs is a national problem!

Corruption knows no tribe. As huasa politicians are stealing, same way yoruba politicians, igbo politicians, south south politicians are stealing!

As hausa politicians have used our money to send their kids abroad for education, same way yoruba politicians, igbo politicians, south south politicians have done.

As politicians have abandoned our hospitals to seek medicals abroad, same way all of them from all the regions have done.

No city in Nigeria can be called a developed city. Not even Abuja. No one. facilities that make a city developed are seriously lacking in cities across the country.

Poverty no sabi tribe. If not for yahoo fraud, ritual, kidnapping, poverty rate would have been even more.

Nigerians, i dont understand why we so much love our leaders o. Some regions are already so happy that Tinubu may become next president. Ask them why? All becus he is from their region! Does this make sense to us in this country?

My brother, as u see Nigerians like this, I don tire for their matter. They can never learn. They love their oppressors more than anything else.

If u get way, my bro, legally migrate out of the country. the people are not even ready to change.

The hail Babangida and call him a Maradonna.

Sir Dr. Emeka Offor was in Daura Kastina State to inspect the ongoing renovation and furnishing of Waziri Alhassan public library in Daura Kastina State which is 98% completed. The Governor of Kastina State, Aminu Bello Masari was also on sight to inspect the life impacting project.

The Waziri Alhassan library Daura is wearing a new look, tastefully renovated and modernized with its shelves fully stacked with qualitative, educative and informative books. Computers were also supplied and fully installed along with a standby generator and borehole. The renovation, furnishing and computerizing of the library came courtesy of Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF) as part of its educational intervention program in Africa. Sir Emeka Offor Foundation has given out books and computers worth over 22 million dollars to primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in Nigeria and 18 other African countries through its book distribution program. Other educational institutions in Kastina state had benefitted hugely from SEOF’s book distribution program in the past.

I just got back from an European tour, I visited Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Germany and London. These countries too are heavily populated but you need to see how thousands of trains, subways and buses helps people to connect so FAST and EASY. Dedicated rail tracks and roads for buses was clearly noticeable.

Almost all the population in Denmark had bicycles, at 4pm I saw people with Suit and Ties riding their bikes home.

I took a train from Copenhagen, Denmark to Malmo, Sweden and the whole trip lasted for 2 hours and 45 mins. The problem is not the population, the problem is black man-kind.

We may never get it right!

It's so unfortunate. I also have the feeling that we may never get it right.

Pastor Adeboye is the prophet for Nigeria. . His has grown old now, but if he still speaks, other prophets usually listens.

Age is no longer on his side.

What is the impact of all his speeches, empty repetitions in guise of prophecies. God has no business in developing any country.
Adeboye is a professor and should have known this.
Its great work ethics and good economic planning. Look at China, Japan .....
It's only in Nigeria I see educated people pray for economic development.

What a shame. Our thought processes have been bastardized by people like Adeboye.

How can we move forward with a bigot and an illiterate like PMB as the President.?

Just be honest and answer the question.

The country as it is, is on a serious downward decline to the cesspit and Adeboye is giving empty and vague motivational proclaimations as usual. Oyedepo is busy cursing herdsmen.

At the end of the day, they both smile to the bank.

I am of the opinion that Nigeria can still be better than this. How I wish we could start all over again. The wealth of our country is in the hands of a few. Millions are still in higher institutions across the nation and beyond, hoping to get a job that is not there in the first place. Entrepreneurial skills must be inculcated from primary education so as to diffuse the idea of jobs "working for someone" "modern slavery" in the minds of EVERYONE IN SCHOOL. I rest my case

Mark my words my friend, Nigeria will never be better than this. It will continue to get worse.
Get yourself out of that country if you have the opportunity. Run.! and don't look back

It with never change. There is no plan for change. Our leaders and followers are one of the finest and corrupt in the world.

Na padi padi. From Lagos to Maiduguri to the East. Nothing will ever change.
