Crazy, risk-averse, superstitious Nigerians, nay Africans spoiling the little business and economic growth plus EMPLOYMENT opportunities in the society.
Rather than INVESTIGATE and provide remedial measures to avoid such accidents we prefer to take the EASY way out that will also ensure the operators can CORRUPTLY bribe the aviation authorities to re-issue the licence. shocked

Compare to what happened recently in Europe/Germany after the crash of a Germanwings flight due to mental health status of the pilot:

The COMPANY and its flight operations were NOT suspended.
No.

If she was really the one that killed her husband, the temporary insanity will sure land her to temporary imprisonment if not a brief session with the hang man. But that's not the crux of my drift. My point is thst it's inhuman for an onlooker to insensitively justify the coldblooded murder of such a promising young man. That's too bad, especially when she is not the counsel to the accused. And you, how come you want to use fiction as a casestudy when we are talking about a real family loosing the life of a real son and brother? That does not sound human to me.

I guess the word primitive has another meaning to you. ogun state is not a civil service state neither is it a market trading state. we are talking about the most industrialised state in Nigeria here , common don't be a dick head. which state in the south east has a better road network than ogun state Mr bad belle?

guy don't get unnecessarily emotive cos you don't have a full picture of what really transpired. I will advise you don't argue over what you know little or nothing about. The poster you quoted is right.
rule of law doesn't work with emotions, I could have referred you to one another American film that depicted a true life story of the black insurrection in the US but can't remember the title of the the film. in law there's something called temporary insanity , if you are still in doubt go ask any good lawyer you know. the lady in question has a good case if what some of the statements of the early posters is anything to go by.

going forward I advise ppl to avoid unnecessary confrontation when it's getting physical cos you never can tell what it might results into

ogun, imo osun are all having the same problem, good grassroot politicians, bad managers.
they all embark on hundreds of projects across the state without proper capital rationing and feasibility study, at the end, we have economic crisis and/or abandoned projects.
I was insulted and abused when I disagree with the way Rochas and Aregbe was carrying out project as if they will experience the same economic situation everyday of their tenure, but none of their advisers was able to tell them that it's good to be a manager first before becoming a populist.
Aregbe don't want to abandon projects but he is unable to pay salary, Rochas is having the 2dilemma before his government, Ogun is having abandon project crisis, if this management style continues, it will cause economic downturn for the state in few years time.
don't compare amosu with aregbe at all. ogun governor never embarked on populist projects like aregbe. building of roads to open up the state can't be said to be a populist... you need good networks roads to open up your state to investments thus boosting the economic life of the ppl

na true talk o
I've not seen a shovel on this road for more than a year now, the excuse of economic crisis is not tenable abeg, the road is causing serious health havoc on the populace, people living or doing business along the road are already relocating, same also with mowe ibafo/ofada axis.
when Lagos State was having similar experience at ijegun/jakande axis, they do wet it at intervals, even though it wasn't enough, it cushion the effect of the dust.
it is tenable my brother. is it a crime for a govnor to spread development across the nooks and crannies of the state? when you nor get money you go go hang your self? you just have to manage whatever is left with you

the governor didn't abandon all the ongoing projects, some are left for the mean time and to be revisited later. like I said earlier the ijoko / ota road is still on going with workers on site, that same ijoko road leads to agbado the OP is complaining about. maybe attention would be switched to the abandoned one in agbado once the ijoko road is completed. it is unfair to complain all the time especially when we know the current state.

Maybe we should be talking about regular wetting of the ground to reduce the effects of the dusts

I have seen video documentaries of able-bodied Israelis who vow to defend their country with every drop of blood in them as long as it does not involve occupation (i.e they are ready to defend Israel from external aggressors but they will not participate in occupation - terrorizing other people in their country). These are the people my hate-filled brothers and sisters will call traitors.

the fact is the available resources cannot cater for all of this issues at once. so cut the governor some slacks when venting

some ppl will pretend as if they just drop down from mars and they are oblivious of the current economic climate in the country. many state govt are no longer executing capital projects anymore, I was in ijoko just over the weekend, a lot of work is going on , on that road, it's the same road that leads to agbado the OP is talking about and trying to deceive uninformed ppl that the govnor has done nothing in that part of the state. Since the return to democracy in 1999, no previous ogun state govt has touched any part of the boarder towns to lagos in ogun. you ppl will still not give credit to the governor that has given residents of those areas a sense of belonging

This story is full of holes.

The EFCC claims the official had been impersonating senior investigators. This is a lie. Since Farouk Gate hardly do any public official collect bribes directly. They send their junior officers to collect it.

But this just gives us a clue on the renewed zeal we are witnessing on the part of EFCC officials. They are using Buhari's fake corruption war to enrich themselves through extortion rackets.

So much for so called anti koworption war where it breeds extortion and bribery among the very same EFCC.

This is wat we Nigerians are good at, digging up analysis upon analysis just to blackmail one another. All these energy you used in digging up and typing this could be chanelled to finding solutions to our problems in this country.

Kanu might be wrong, but your standpoint is political and tribal with hatred written all over it, that is wrong.
that's why one should be ready to take responsibilities for his or her action. for fact that some ppl have committed murder in the past and got away with it doesn't make it right neither doesn't make it unpunishable. what was kanu smoking when he embarked on the journey of self destruction

it might be true but this my take

It's Treason to take sides with an Enemy against your own country. Clearly, that hasn't happened.
Political opinions aren't treason. You can still criticize the US Government ---even saying that the enemy is right and we're wrong---and it's not treason. Making that same statement on Enemy television--while standing beside the the Enemy Leader--is where you cross the line. Making ISIS/Daeish/boko haram sponsored videos supporting attacks against the US is clearly treasonous.
do you know kanu once called on ipob members to take up arms against the state? is that alone not a treasonable offence

my brother, try to understand certain things, don't close your mind to learn. do you know, north korea has threaten nuclear war on the us? but see, the states are keeping tabs on them diplomaticly, if that happens you should expect the retaliation it will cause would be complete and without a doubt the most explosive military reaction since WW2. The US would probably not retaliate with nuclear power due to treaty commitments and of fear of especially angering Security Council antagonists China or to a lesser extent Russia or France, thats for a country,
