pawesome: what do you expect? most of the jobs in Nigeria are in lagos. The few in states in the north are not getting the limelight because, people of the north are not yet ict savy as it is out here. debbie and ococo cannot be everywhere, they can only share with us what they can find and verify on the internet. the last election gave us a pointer to how ict savy the different regions in Nigeria are. for instance we were able to know who and who won elections first in the southwest before any other region debbie and ococo are doing their own service to humanity, you can also help out too. #mytake 6 Likes |

yaki84: chaiiiiii oga wetin you dey talk self. it's better to keep mute than spewing uninformed gibberish in the airspace. 1. aba and onitsha are part of the route. na you know which dailies you dey read 2. the kano to lagos rail line for instance, terminated at iddo but was not name kano/iddo line. get that in your skull 3. the bakassi/obudu road is a cross river state financed project. the governor only lobbied the fg to be able to access the loan to finance it. okay? 4. oga this project has been in the pipeline since 2014, you don't know more than the ministry than added it to the budget. let's forget about political correctness at the expense of development. as much as yoruba ppl hated babangida reach, he built 3rd mainland bridge which yoruba ppl are enjoying today. It's time you guys learn to separate developmental interest from political interest. aboki ppl did not reject alimajiri schools because they hate Jonathan o. a word is enough for the wise 3 Likes |

GreatSE: oga, sorry to say you are maaaaaaddddd. everything to you is about politics. what does the man in the street gain from the politicking by the politicians. you be serious muuuumuuuu, the railway is to pass through 6 ss states, 3 sw states and 2 se state. now tell me ss will not benefit the most when the rail lineb will criss cross all the states in the region. who is supposed to be more aggrieved than the other, even though I believe they are all idiots that were sleeping while their smarter counterparts from the nory outsmart them. Do you know the enormous amount of both skilled and unskilled labour that will get engaged in the ss, se, sw. and couple with the development this project will bring to the towns and villages the rail line will pass through. maybe you prefer to lose all this just because of political inclination. I tire for people like una o 5 Likes |

maupe: they do not possess such powers according to the constitution. constituency project is an illegality that has been allowed to fester for too long. responsibilities of the legislative is to make laws and monitor the activities of the executives. While the executives role is to formulate and implement policies any lawmaker that wants any project in his constituency is expected to lobby the executive to see his people needs. that's why nobody blames the legislative over poor roads, electricity, education etc let's endeavour to know more about issues before put forward an uninformed argument 1 Like 1 Share |

chi4ik4: oga, separation of power does not translate to one arm taking over the responsibilities of another. The legislative arm does not have the right to add projects to the budget. they can only appropriate funds to the projects the executives submits to them |
