all d job location is lagos...please can u guys get sumtin fr us in d north

what do you expect? most of the jobs in Nigeria are in lagos. The few in states in the north are not getting the limelight because, people of the north are not yet ict savy as it is out here. debbie and ococo cannot be everywhere, they can only share with us what they can find and verify on the internet.

the last election gave us a pointer to how ict savy the different regions in Nigeria are. for instance we were able to know who and who won elections first in the southwest before any other region

debbie and ococo are doing their own service to humanity, you can also help out too. #mytake

Now that construction has not started, let the southeast repredentatives ask for the rerouting to a more economically viable route from Cslabar to Uyo to Aba to Owerri to Orlu to Nnewi to Onitsha to Asabs to Agbor to Benin then to the other populated towns, then ending at Lagos

Two spurs, Abs to PH and Warri to Benin can be built to complete the circle.

I love this. nice one. South East people should learn how to negotiate for developmental projects rather than always wailing. the populace are also not helping the situation. they prefer to be the cry cry baby.

I will keep blaming the executive for this mess n controversy in d budget.
from the time ministers started denying their budgets n bringing another budget there was a problem been created by that singular action.

how can ministers reject budget n bring in another version of budget without the knowledge of presidency?

he be like say you were in coma when it became a publi knowledge that the initial budget was riddled with errors, and the various ministers had to go to the Senate and house committees to present and defend their ministry corrected budget.

bros I wan give u facts that will convince u that this federal govt never thought of executing that project.

1. amaechi said the project will start from obudu connect to calabar then link to uyo n the rest. in the entire route presented by dailies, hv not seen south eastern towns in the route.

2. thee project in question is calabar lagos rail project, but amaechi said it will kickstart from obudu, why not obudu lagos rail project? why calabar lagos?
dont forget buhari flagged off 250km super highway lastyr that will link bakassi to obudu terminating at katsina ala which is in benue, if at all this facility is going to kickstart which to me is capital intensive why include obudu into this project which to me will hinder n slow down this project considering the problems on ground with the super highway caused by the indigenes of these communities this highway will pass thru. they r telling the govt to halt constructiin that govt didnt consult them before embarking on d project that their livelihood source will be desteoyed n most of their economic trees n communities will be destroyed.

3. the transport ministry hv not done any feasibility studies nor EIA on this project. communities where this track will pass thru hv not been consulted. dont forget this track will not be laid beside the existing road network on ground in these communities.

4. the deed has been done, even if the project was included in the budget am not sure normal work would hv started this year. so let d ministry go back to d drawing board n do d needful.

chaiiiiii

oga wetin you dey talk self. it's better to keep mute than spewing uninformed gibberish in the airspace.

1. aba and onitsha are part of the route. na you know which dailies you dey read

2. the kano to lagos rail line for instance, terminated at iddo but was not name kano/iddo line. get that in your skull

3. the bakassi/obudu road is a cross river state financed project. the governor only lobbied the fg to be able to access the loan to finance it. okay?

4. oga this project has been in the pipeline since 2014, you don't know more than the ministry than added it to the budget.

let's forget about political correctness at the expense of development. as much as yoruba ppl hated babangida reach, he built 3rd mainland bridge which yoruba ppl are enjoying today. It's time you guys learn to separate developmental interest from political interest.

oga, sorry to say you are maaaaaaddddd. everything to you is about politics. what does the man in the street gain from the politicking by the politicians.

you be serious muuuumuuuu, the railway is to pass through 6 ss states, 3 sw states and 2 se state. now tell me ss will not benefit the most when the rail lineb will criss cross all the states in the region. who is supposed to be more aggrieved than the other, even though I believe they are all idiots that were sleeping while their smarter counterparts from the nory outsmart them.

Do you know the enormous amount of both skilled and unskilled labour that will get engaged in the ss, se, sw. and couple with the development this project will bring to the towns and villages the rail line will pass through.
maybe you prefer to lose all this just because of political inclination.

I tire for people like una o

Hope they know China Yuan is unreliable, because of China spontaneous devaluation to boost exports whenever the Yuan is appreciating against the dollar.

Since Russia accepted Yuan as part of her reserves investors have reportedly lost over 30% of their savings in Yuan because of constant devaluation by the People's Bank of China.

China is known for one thing doctoring all economic data to attract investors, if anyone will do business of this capacity with China, its not during this period that China equity market has lost over $4 trillion dollars in value and have constantly been accused of unethical practices to make her market attractive.

the question is who is accusing china of unethical practices, america bah? china is not a feeding bottle country like Nigeria that allows America to dictate what it should do to its country at the detriment of its citizens interest

The senators, be they Northerners or Southerners have every right to navigate the budget in the allocation of resources towards needs that will help their reelection campaign. That is politics

they do not possess such powers according to the constitution. constituency project is an illegality that has been allowed to fester for too long.

responsibilities of the legislative is to make laws and monitor the activities of the executives. While the executives role is to formulate and implement policies

any lawmaker that wants any project in his constituency is expected to lobby the executive to see his people needs.

that's why nobody blames the legislative over poor roads, electricity, education etc

let's endeavour to know more about issues before put forward an uninformed argument
