Nigerian men are afraid of independent women. They are intimidated by our successes. They need women that are solely dependant on them so that they can use those women as they whish.
Fiscus105: How many Nigerian men afraid of independent woman? How many afraid women success?
Genevieve Nnaji, Funke Akindele Tonto Dikeh Are a proof that Nigerian men can't stand independent women. They need people they can intimidate. People to bruise their ego on.
If the aforementioned women weren't independent, they would have been in their husbands' houses.
I spit on a gender who hates other gender's successes.
Can you see how the above monikers made mockery of Nigerian women? Asking if it's Akeke bread or sliced bread. Because for their minds no Nigerian woman deserves to be a breadwinner.
PepeXKermit: you are rather missing the point, no man is afraid of an "independent" woman. the issue is women who have attained certain status come with loads of baggages and attitudes and its these attitude that men cannot stand. Imagine an Ini Edo saying she cannot be with a man she does not respect, now lets look at it deeper, why would she disrespect you in the first place? It means she does not hold you in high regard. What could be the cause of it? when you figure it out, let me know.
Asking why would Ini Edo disrespect men are you indirectly saying that women are created to respect men? Respect is earned to given.
In a heartwarming testament to the power of love and sacrifice, a viral social media post made by Mr Reno Omokri, the former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan is shedding light on a unique morning ritual that has captured the internet’s attention. Reno in his post praises a wife who wakes up at 4 AM to prepare a special meal for her husband, elevating it to more than just sustenance. Mr Reno referred to such act as an “elixir of life” and a “sacrificial offering.”
He goes on to emphasize the profound significance of this early morning gesture, labeling the food as “holy” and a true embodiment of soul food. The recipient of such devotion is hailed as “blessed amongst men” and distinguished as a “baller” for being married to a helper rather than a biller. The message encourages readers to leave discussions about alpha males and feminists aside, asserting that the true essence lies in being a beloved male.
Reno concludes with a poignant reflection, suggesting that, when faced with the choice between being an alpha male and being loved, opting for the latter is a wise decision. The post culminates with warm congratulations and a call to celebrate the unique bond that goes beyond traditional societal norms.
“If your wife genuinely wakes up at 4 AM to cook for you, that food is not just ordinary food. It is an elixir of life. It is holy food. It is a sacrificial offering. A labour of love. The real definition of soul food. You are blessed amongst men. You are married to a helper, not a biller therefore, you are a baller. Leave feminists for Femi. Let Alfa bother about alpha males. You, sir, are beyond an alpha male. You are a beloved male. And if a wise man has to choose between being alpha and being loved, he will select being loved ten out of ten times. Congratulations! Now go and do your jubilations”, he wrote.
This viral expression of love and appreciation serves as a reminder that relationships are multifaceted, transcending stereotypes and expectations. The 4 AM culinary ritual, as described in the post, stands as a beautiful example of the lengths some individuals go to express their love and commitment to their partners, offering a fresh perspective on the dynamics of modern relationships.
Slurity: WHAT KIND OF SENSELESS THINKING IS THIS? ITS LIKE YOU NEVER BE UNDER FEMALE BOSS BEFORE. WHAT DIAZINI DO US AS A COUNTRY IS NOT ENOUGH LESSON FOR YOU? ABEG O.
onajo2000: Which car has the right of way? Not many people know!
When you’ve been on the road for a long time, driving becomes an extremely familiar habit.
You may think that you already know how to behave in most situations, and that you’ve already encountered all the problems of the road.
But let’s put this assumption to the test with an example from a real-life driving test.
Examining the provided image, we can observe a traffic scenario at a T-intersection.
In this situation, a pink car(A) is heading towards the intersection, accompanied by a yellow car(C) approaching from the right and a blue car(B) from the left.
The intentions of each vehicle are as follows: the pink car intends to make a left turn, the blue car plans to proceed straight, and the yellow car also wishes to make a left turn.
Don’t forget to take into account all the signs, traffic lights and other conditions that may influence this traffic situation.
Which car will go first?
Can you please stop with this nonsense? Nigeria is heading to doom. I can't believe this is the first time I will not go to my place because of the cost of transportation.
In a shocking revelation, Pastor Godwin Bankole is facing accusations of marrying another man’s wife and allegedly taking away his seven children. The accuser, Mr Uduak Usanga who claims to be the previous husband of Christiana Obot, asserts that Bankole’s actions are not only morally questionable but also demand the return of 6 million naira he paid as bride price. Christiana Obot, the woman in question, had initially been married to her first husband, with whom she had three children. Subsequently, she married the accuser, Mr Usanga and together they had four children, totaling seven.
The accuser questions the pastor’s choice to marry a woman with a significant age gap, urging him to consider a younger partner. Furthermore, he alleges having evidence of marriage payments and documentation related to their traditional marriage and wedding.
The aggrieved party questions whether Pastor Bankole’s church doctrine permits such unions and accuses him of stealing his wife and children. The accuser claims that the pastor is not only unapologetic but also threatening legal action through court and police.
In response to the accusations, Pastor Godwin Bankole has pleaded with the accuser to come to his house and collect his 6 million naira.
This ongoing marital dispute involving a pastor has stirred controversy, prompting questions about ethical conduct within religious communities. As tensions escalate, the demand for the return of 6 million naira remains at the forefront of this complex and contentious situation.
Antwan99: Tell us about Patricia Etteh, Dora Akunyilli, Alison Diezani Madueke etc. These were the women patriarchical Nigeria tried. How was the experience? They all proved the aphorism 'what a man can do, a woman can do even better' based on corruption.
ndamanibrahim12: The Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs) has denied the report that it paid the sum of N141.1m to an Abuja- based restaurant two weeks before the expiration of the Buhari administration.
The Office described the report by an online media platform as not only misleading but false and a calculated attempt to smear the good image of the Office.A statement issued by the Head of Communications in OSSAP-SDGs, Rotimi Ajayi stated that the office wouldn’t have dignified the piece with a reply, but for the innocent readers who might not understand the crux of the matter, there is a need to set the records straight.
“This is to state clearly that the reports carried a distorted account of the procedure and show the ignorance of the writer on how things operate in government institutions.
“We wish to state categorically that the information contained in the said publication is inaccurate and very likely a deliberate attempt to misrepresent the issues with the intent to embarrass the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, as there was no issue of fraud or abuse of process in the execution of the said project.”
OSSAP-SDGs categorically refutes the allegations and insists that it has been transparent in the construction of the Skills Acquisition Centre and a Block of Classrooms in Lagos State, as well as many similar projects across the country.
The statement noted that according to records provided by the company during the bid process, the company in question is duly registered with valid incorporation and tax documents with the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC.
The allegation of it being a mere restaurant is equally from the figment of the imagination of the author, as the project was executed by a team of professionals with the necessary qualifications and expertise in construction and engineering. The structures were built per specifications and industry standards, as confirmed by photographic evidence with GPS coordinates provided.
The Office noted that the decision to relocate the project from its original site in Ajeromi was necessitated by the insufficient space at the original location, to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Contrary to the claims in the report, the project was executed as specified, and the block of classrooms and skills acquisition centre were completed and commissioned for use. Photographic evidence with GPS coordinates is available to substantiate this fact.
“In conclusion, we assert that the report is marred by inaccuracies, as the award of the contract followed due process and was not arbitrary,” the statement said.
