Soldiers, or better put, zombies shoot at protesters and nothing happens. Police shoot protesters and nothing happens. When was the last the time those fools we call security men use Tear Gas? Murder is now seen as something normal because it is done in the name of Government.

I honestly think the bulk of our leaders and security outfits are criminals and murderers. These guys have formed a gang with the system we gave them and because they don the attire of the system we envisaged, we don't call them killers. Buhari is the worst thing to happen to this country.

Note that I never said bear the suffering with a stoic smile on your face. What I'm saying is, don't let bitterness be the end result. Get rid of the bitterness first, then you'll find you can think straight so you can tackle the issue more objectively.

I speak from experience. I've been a really bitter person, but I had to first release myself from the toxicity before I could even see an end to my woes. It may take a resignation (I did that) a breakup, a radical change in appearance, habits and even location, but first be rid of bitterness. We sometimes hear of people we envy suddenly cave in due to bitterness. Failed marriages, careers, etc..... Bitterness is not a badge of honor, lady.

Is democracy even for a dumb population?

The owners of Nigerian running the country how they deem fit. The army, the fg and some governors understand the cause here and they are quiet. If Dan Fodio started from 0 to 100, how then is succeeding difficult when they are 100? If he succeeded when he had nothing, no military or man tool, how is succeeding now difficult when there is a military support base and willing human tools?

Symbolism is intended to communicate, in this case, power and ownership. If out of a hundred tribes, a transliteration for a small section is made paramount, then the rights to segregate has been granted. The rights to feel better is granted and chaos happens.

Why do we have the Ajami on the Uniform of the Nigerian Army? Is that necessary? Why not English, the country’s Lingual Franca? This creates a divide in the system. It overtly shows that some people are more important than the others.

Why consider the illiterates from a certain section of the country and forget the illiterates from other sections? If the trick is to help people with a popular tribe understand, what happens to the illiterates from less popular tribes?

While the unconcerned citizens see nothing wrong with it since it doesn’t affect them, the Nigerians whose ego it massages and titillates, treat them with a certain disdain. That’s the power of symbolism. It doesn’t have any effect on you but because someone believes in it, in a country where such egotism shouldn’t be promoted, his actions affect you.

While you enjoy and live large, a fragmented society is growing. A society where some persons think they are the purest of breeds. A society where some persons feel they genuinely own Nigeria. If you don’t care you should start caring now. You should start demanding for the creation of a nation of citizens and not tribes.

That's true. The same goes for believing in God because you are scared of hell and want to make heaven. Personally, the existence of hell is the reason I find it hard to believe in God. The man who follows this God because he wants to make heaven and the one who follows him because he is poor are one and the same. I respect my dad because he's my dad and ooze wisdom not because I need gifts or favours.
